The Barn sleeps 14 and the Lodge Sleeps 6 with the option of two temporary beds but there is space for dining both inside and out for 22 - The Barn can be hired with the Lodge for larger parties. The Barn has 7 bedrooms and the Lodge 3. Int the barn, there is an additional TV/Children's room. The whole property is surrounded by summer meadows which are yours to use during your stay. We offer a catering service for formal dinners or for food on arrival which can be waiting for you in fridge. There is free WiFi throughout, so keeping in touch and finding out what the local area has to offer couldnât be easier. Indeed you can do some online shopping from the local supermarket (and yes, they deliver!) or book yourselves into one of the many local attractions.
The lodge was wonderful, very spacious and ideal for my wife's 50th birthday celebration with family. It was perfect for our weekend away and all 7 of us plus storm the dog enjoyed the idyllic location. what a great welcome pack as well.
Just got back from an amazing stay in the Barn, Peter was great at communicating with us and provided lots of information to ensure we had the best stay. I can definitely see how the property has been awarded with 5 stars, it fully deserves it!
Location is great, not too far from Wells beach and plenty of places for dog walking! We will look forward to returning!
We took this property to explore the North Norfolk coast, and it worked very well. The location was quiet and accommodation well appointed. Helpful owner, who was always generous with their time to assist with queries. The WiFi speed was relatively slow owing to rural location. It was ok for general web browsing, but more difficult to stream TV or movies. Not a deal-breaker for us owing to beautiful surroundings. Fakenham is very easy to reach for supermarket. A great trip.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. It was lovely and warm. Disappointed that there wasn't any Christmas touches. There wasn't any instructions for any of the appliances. Being a bit older, we had trouble trying to work out how to light the gas fire, turn on the beautiful cooker and use the coffee machine. A booklet with instructions would have helped. I am did send an email but didn't receive a response.
Arriving in the dark, a lit sign would have helped us find the property in the fog.
Other than that, I would definitely recommend this lovely property
Just returned from a wonderful stay at the Lodge. Great communication throughout & the property was just as described. The Gin welcome back was fabulous and so tasty, I will definitely be ordering in the future. We explored the local beaches, approx 20/25 minute drive. It was lovely to retreat back to the Lodge & enjoy the garden in the late afternoon with a G&T. Highly recommend this property.
Loved our stay in the Lodge - really well equipped & cleanâŠ
Lovely layout and surroundings
TV was a bit old and really slow running on NetflixâŠ
Owner really helpful and friendly & their Gin is excellent đ
Our 2nd stay at Brazenhall Lodge. Itâs a wonderful, quiet base in a peaceful location & easy to get to the coast. Really dog friendly & extremely comfortable & well equipped. We had a small issue which Peter quickly deal with. All in all we had another lovely week in the Lodge in beautiful sunny Norfolk.
What a find! A great place for 4 Adults & our 3 cockapoos. Canât fault the lodge, luxury accommodation with everything we needed and more. Itâs about 20 - 30 mins drive to the beach, in a very peaceful location. We loved it so much weâve booked again for next year.
The property is in a really nice location, there isnât much around but we found a really nice restaurant called the aviator about 5 minutes up the road, the only thing I could say would make the lodge outstanding would be a hot tub but thatâs my personal preference
Great place set in a rural setting, kitted out well with everything we needed. Fantastic bedrooms with beautiful en-suites and luxurious toiletries.
The gin and tonics were an added bonus and was enjoyed by everyone. The lodge was kitted to high spec and had ample crockery, glassware, pots and pans etc. Brilliant time had by all... Thank you.
Lovely peaceful location. Excellent standard of accommodation. Sheltered back garden- great for star gazing!
The property was well equipped tee were well informed.
A pleasant drive to fabulous coastal walks.
Excellent accommodation in beautiful surroundings with great access to the coast and the inland area of the North Norfolk region. Spacious and peaceful, would recommend to anyone.
We have just returned from a lovely 5 day stay in Norfolk. The lodge was in a perfect location for us and overall offered excellent accommodation.
We have just a few little niggles that unfortunately dropped it below 5*.
Due to Covid we could not check in until 5pm on our day of arrival and had to leave by 9:30am on our last day. This meant our 5 day break was more like 3 days. We appreciate that additional cleaning is required however this should not be at our expense and, with the size of the property, a 7.5 hour turnaround seems unnecessary.
The bins in the kitchen do not have lids which was a problem given the number of flies and wasps at this time of year. The smell was also unpleasant. We emptied the bins every day even though they were nowhere near full.
The TV in the lounge is very intermittent and the signal was often very poor and the gas fire was unfortunately broken.
Just a few niggles and we would definitely return to stay again.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brazenhall Losge, clean, modern, well equipped, beautiful location. Definitely 5 star accommodation. Would highly recommend.
Everything was just a little bit more special than any where else
Really superb, owners really helpful. Please pass on my apologies I left some pots in the dish washer as I don't have one I completely forgot to sort it only just remembered. Really sorry.
Everything has been thought of. The kitchen is well equipped; having two dish-washers and washing machines is a great idea when you have fourteen people staying! The dining area is great and we ate both inside and out. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and there's plenty go do. But the beds... oh those beds!! SO comfortable!! We all slept like babies and came away feeling really refreshed.
Brazenhall is not cheap but it is GREAT value for money. They have earned their Five Stars and their Gold Award.
We will be back!
I had a delightful stay at Brzenhall Barns. The barns are great for groups or families, with clean and comfortable rooms and a great communal space in which to relax together.
The bed in my double room was extremely comfortable and the room itself was spotless.
The countryside around the barns is beautiful, with plenty of invigorating country walks available.
A special mention has to go to the catering available at Brazenhall. Sally and her team worked so hard to provide us with delicious lunches and sumptuous 3-course suppers in the evenings. It made the stay that extra bit special and I could not recommend the catering enough.
Finally, Peter, the host, is extremely helpful and thoroughly pleasant: the customer service is tip-top!
All in all, Brazenhall Barns is a wonderful place to stay and I had a brilliant time there!
