Two miles away is the friendly village and sandy beach in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea, a popular little seaside village with a choice of cafés and pubs and a wonderful flat promenade to stroll along. Only 8 miles away is Morpeth, a pretty market town with some excellent shops and restaurants, popular on a weekend with locals.

It is easy to explore from this ideal holiday base with Amble only 10 miles away, where you can visit the popular Sunday market and shopping pods.
