Riverside Cottage in Warkworth, Northumberland sleeps four guests in two bedrooms.
Riverside Cottage is an attractive, semi-detached stone cottage in a quiet area of Warkworth village. It is situated near the River Coquet and only a mile from a beautiful sandy beach.
Amenities: Gas central heating. Electric oven and grill, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher. TV/DVD player, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair available. Parking nearby. Enclosed garden opposite house, patio furniture. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 0.1 miles, pub 0.1 miles, beach 1.1 miles. Note: Guests are entitled to membership of Amble Leisure Club. Note: Starter pack of fuel for woodburning stove provided. ***Please note that this property only accepts Saturday arrivals. ***

Town: Lying in the loop of the River Coquet on the Heritage Coast, Warkworth is a picturesque village, dominated by the dramatic ruins of its 12th century castle. The history of the village and the castle are intertwined with the Percy Family who took over the castle in 1332. The Percysâ other home is nearby Alnwick Castle, most recently associated with Harry Potter as the film location of Hogwarts School. The main street is lined with Georgian and early Victorian houses and there is an exceptional range of galleries, antiques shops, a village shop/Post Office, pubs, restaurants and gift shops to suit all tastes. Warkworth has its own stretch of sandy beach and a 9 hole pay and play golf course. Also within easy touring distance are Hadrianâs Wall, Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island, the Farne Islands, several wonderful beaches and Alnwick Garden with its remarkable water cascade and Tree House Restaurant.
