Schooner Court No2 in Alnmouth, Northumberland sleeps four guests in two bedrooms.
Schooner Court No2 is one of two apartments that has been fully refurbished to a very high standard with quality fixtures and fitting. This ground floor apartment has open plan living space, benefits from gas central heating, outside patio space and private parking. Being just metres from the park and beach near the mouth of the River Aln and a short stroll from all amenities the popular village of Alnmouth has to offer.
ACCOMMODATION OVER ONE LEVEL (Ground Floor)
Entrance hall.
Open plan kitchen/dining/living area with electric oven and induction hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave. Dining table and chairs. Living area with comfy seating, TV/DVD, IPod dock. Access via patio doors to the outside seating.
Bedroom 1 with king-size bed, en suite with shower, WC, basin and heated towel rail.
Bedroom 2 with two single beds.
Bathroom with bath, over shower, WC, basin and heated towel rail.
OTHER FACILITIES
Patio area to the front of the property with table and chairs. Gas central heating. All power, bed linen and towels included in the rent. Private parking for 1 car.
Schooner Court No2 is below Schooner Court No1. Both properties can be rented together, sleeping 8 guests in 4 bedrooms. This would suit families or friends wishing to holiday together.
Building work has been taking place opposite Schooner Court 1 and 2. This is nearing completion (four out of seven units are fully finished) but as of October 2024 work has temporarily ceased. We do not know when it will resume but when it does, there will be some activity on the remaining three properties (external paving to be laid plus internal fitting out to be done). When the work is completed, the road will be resurfaced. Neither the owners of Schooner Court 1 and 2 or Northumbria Coast & Country Cottages have any control over the neighbouring works, but at some time during the midweek (work is not permitted at the weekend) there may be some activity. We will monitor the work and update this information as necessary.

Region: Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian’s Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.
Town: Situated just 4 miles east of Alnwick, Alnmouth is a charming resort popular with golfers and those seeking a peaceful holiday. The village lies on a narrow spit of land between the River Aln and the North Sea and was originally the port for Alnwick. Nowadays the area has returned to its unspoilt origins and offers a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as an excellent “links” golf course and some great rivers for fishing, as well as boasting miles and miles of splendid beaches and sand dunes to explore which afford stunning views of the North Sea. A short drive will bring you to Alnwick with its famous historic castle, The Alnwick Garden housing the Poison Garden which runs guided tours through dangerous botanicals and a variety of pubs and restaurants. Alnmouth is well situated for exploring Northumberland.
