La Maison du Maire - 5 Bedroom Luxury Villa

If you are looking for a unique holiday experience away from the mass touristic and "all-in" establishments on the famous island of Zakynthos, we have an amazing opportunity only for you.

La Maison du Maire (Mayor’s house) is a luxury villa with a private pool, ideal for 12 persons. It is designed by the well-known architect Vassilis Panopoulos, who was inspired by the Alpes' architecture and constructed this villa to resemble to a “chalet”, with his own personal touch and love. It is situated in a private property of 5800 sq. m. (1, 4 acre), offering wonderful views to the surrounding pine-trees, olive-trees and grape gardens.

The villa features five bedrooms, three bathrooms and a private pool of 40 sq. m. Every bedroom has its own balcony with an amazing view to the fields and lowlands of Zakynthos.

The villa is suitable for all kind of travelers who wish to spend a unique vacation in a natural green environment, close to all the main attractions of the island. We have a family friendly policy, offering all the necessary equipment for children, so that you can completely relax and enjoy your holidays. If you are a nature-lover, we have also something for you: you can either relax on the hammocks in our pine trees’ garden or ask for our advice to discover some hidden spots of the island of unique beauty!

The villa is 310 sq. m. and fenced all around for your privacy. At the ground floor, there is a spacious living room with a fireplace and a flat screen TV (32 inches), a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, a double bedroom, a fully equipped bathroom with a shower and a second living room with a flat screen TV (42 inches) and a sofa-bed that can be easily converted to a double bed. This space can be separated from the main living room with an internal door.
The internal stairs lead you to the first floor, where you can find a master bedroom with a queen size bed and an en-suite bathroom, two double bedrooms with queen size beds, a double bedroom with twin beds, a fully-equipped bathroom with a bathtub and an office.

On the surrounding areas, you can find a playground, a BBQ and a wood stove.
Experience your vacation in a different way! Upon request, Maria, the owner of the house, can cook for you all the traditional specialties of the island. You will have the privilege to taste our home made wine and olive oil along with seasonal vegetables naturally produced in our garden.
Upon request, we can provide you with extras such as: baby cots, high chair and toys for children, beach towels etc. or host your special wedding-day to our amazing surroundings.
