We loved the sheer beauty of this spot, with vibrant sunrises, flaming sunsets, wild winds, and gorgeous ocean views. The house had everything we needed, and then some, and the host was very helpful and responsive about a couple of minor issues. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Blue by the Sea is spacious, clean, and cozy with a spectacular view of the ocean. We walked to Cousins Shore Beach and easily drove to Summerside and Cavendish. It was better stocked than our own home with appliances, tupperware and such. We even had a ping pong tournament! You won't regret staying here.

Beautiful views and a well stocked Cottage

Had a lovely stay here! Lots of beds and a great location! The view was absolutely beautiful every morning and the kitchen had lots of amenities and was very well stocked! The hosts were very quick to respond to any questions we had as well!

We loved our family vacation at Blue by the Sea. The cottage was well located within walking distance to the beach and a short drive to many attractions/activities, restaurants and stores. The house was clean and well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bunkie was the perfect place for kids to hang out and sleep. The views from the master balcony were so beautiful! We sat out there every morning to watch the early morning sun and enjoy the start of our day.

We loved our stay

We just spent an amazing week here. The cottage has everything we needed and more , hopeful to return again and be able to pack less things , knowing how stocked the place was , right down to beach toys and a real crib for our little one.

Wow! 10/10! We had everything we needed. Cousins shore is by far the best beach of all the beaches we have been to on the island over the years. Blue by the Sea was the perfect setting to Celebrate turning 60 this year, with my husband, adult sons and 2 of their partners. Thank you so much for equipping the place with everything we needed, and we will cherish the memories we made here for a very long time!

Great rural retreat!

We really loved the location and house! Easy access to local beaches with a car. Lots of good restaurants nearby to try the local seafood. The house is very comfortable and had everything we needed. Overall, great place to stay!! Thanks!!!

Lovely cottage

The location and the cottage were ideal, the property was well-stocked. Though this stay was short and the weather was not on our side we would gladly stay at this location in the future and will recommend it to others

BMW's Most Excellent Adventure

Great location, clean and has everything you need for a great vacation. Great sun rises and sun sets and a beach 1 km away. After a day of exploring the island you can return and relax in comfort. I recommend this place to anyone that wants to come visit PEI.

Very nice property with well stocked kitchen, high end appliances; comfortable beds and ample seating in living area and outside. Views from both decks of the ocean. Cousins shore beach was on fact a 10 minute walk as advertised but not really a swimable beach with strong undertow advisory posted. Just a short hop to Kensington for groceries etc and 20 minutes to Cavendish. Brian was available by text if needed and very prompt to reply. We enjoyed our family time there.

Peaceful home with sea view

The home is located in the countryside in a very peace filled setting. Home was very clean and well equiped kitchen. Being from the states we were unfamiliar with what a Bunkie was. We were suprised that it was a seperate building without a bathroom. We utilized the cabinet bed in the living room . We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

June Weekend

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Its location was ideal, just a 10-minute walk to the beach and a short drive to all the local attractions. The hosts clearly put a lot of thought into every detail, providing plenty of towels, beach towels, containers, pots, pans, and other extras to ensure a comfortable experience. We enjoyed a fantastic two-night stay and can't wait to return. The property was spacious with ample seating, making it perfect for our needs.

Amazing home with everything we needed and more!

We had an amazing time staying at Brian and Andrea's home. Clean and comfortable home. We only had a party of 4 but this spot could easily host a larger family. Our kids really enjoyed the bunkie/gamesroom. The view is spectacular. And it was so close to such a beautiful beach..our favourite beach so far on PEI! Would definitely return in the future.

No blues when you stay at Blue By The Sea!

We had a wonderful stay at Blue By The Sea! Brian was a flexible and accommodating host and the property was amazing. We had everything we needed and more for our stay. The house is stocked with everything you could ever need and then some. Thought has been given to what needs you have when staying in a rental home. Comfortable beds and furniture and a lovely layout will suit couples or families. The ocean view and sunrises were spectacular and the property is well located in proximity to anything you might need and only a quick walk to the beach. I highly recommend staying at Blue By The Sea…you won’t regret it.

Picture perfect

We stayed for the month of July and had everything we needed to feel at home. The sunrises were breathtaking from the upstairs deck. Lots of living space for entertaining and family group meal preparation. Excellent furnishings. A short scoot to the beautiful beach and although we were in the country it was only 10 minutes to Kensington for groceries. There are several quaint restaurants nearby. North Shore Canteen in French River is better than it sounds… gourmet chef prepared meals. Carr’s Oyster Bar in Stanley Bridge and the Rail station in Kensington.

A truly FABULOUS week!

This wonderful property is both pastoral/rural with space (neighbours are not too close) and yet is very close to a town (only 10 min away) where you can both get whatever you need or just hang out there in a cafe for a while. Also very close by, there's a quiet little out-of-the-way, red sand beach with few people aware of it. Everything we wanted to see and visit was very accessible. Enjoyed two different lobster suppers and many great seafood experiences. This cottage is not only beautiful and spacious, but is very well equipped and flexible to all our cooking, sunning, relaxing, fresh-air needs. We would highly recommend this fabulous spot!!!

PEI Family Vacation

The Blue by the Sea home is a very comfortable and accommodating spot for a family looking to have good access to the North area! The house has great living areas, a great entertainment flex space in the garage (ping pong was a hit!), and amazing sea views from upstairs and the kitchen/dining/living space! Couldn’t ask for a better landing spot at the end of our fun days! The home is a little far from the beaches for those looking for quick access, but very well situated by bike, short walk, or very quick car ride down to the beach! If you’re not water-front direct, this is the next best option! Brian and Andrea were great hosts, and had all amenities (and beach necessities) to make our stay memorable and easy!

A perfect stay

My family and I had a wonderful week at "Blue by the Sea." The views in any direction are stunning. The location was perfect for us, and being central to the island, nothing is too far of a drive. Some of our favorite spots within a very short drive include: Cousins Beach (within walking distance or 1 min ride), Thunder Cove (beach with interesting rock formations), French River, and Cape Tyron (amazing views, seals sea birds and a whale sighting!). Cavendish and the other Green Gables area tourist spots, and Summerside (large town with food stores, movies, and anythhing else you would need are only about 20 min drive. The owners, Brian and Andrea, are very responsive and thought of everything. The house is very well stocked and everything in the house is clean and all appliances (grill, dishwasher, etc.) Are all of high quality. I'll miss the mornings having coffee out on the deck with the gentle sea breeze. So lucky that our first VRBO house was cancelled and we found this gem instead. Thank you!
