Lakeside, family friendly property (OI23)
Silverlake is a luxury private estate nestled in an extensive nature reserve, near to the coast in West Dorset. Opportunity for adventure abounds with water sports, a private beach, cycling trails, woodland walks, tennis, table tennis and forest playgrounds available on site.
All our properties here at Silverlake, Dorset have strict rules to ensure a family friendly atmosphere. Our properties must strictly be used for holiday purposes only and not for working in and or using to commute to and from a place of work. Stag and Hen parties are strictly not allowed at any of our properties, and we reserve the right to cancel your booking if you break the estate rules.
This welcoming 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom waterfront house accommodates 8 guests (max 7 adults and 1 child owing to sleeping configuration) and offers a mix of modern design and homely comforts. The beautiful views of the lake and Wakeling Island beyond can be seen from the fully enclosed decking area and the first floor balcony which is accessed by two of the double bedrooms. A private jetty provides direct access into the lake.
Access to the activity equipment is included with this property, offering plenty to do while staying at Silverlake, Dorset. Inclusive equipment hire includes bikes and water equipment such as paddleboards, kayaks and canoes, subject to availability.
Please note that there are properties on the estate undergoing construction in various phases. Bookings for this property are made on the understanding that you may see and hear construction, machinery and workers from 0730 to 1800, Monday to Friday and 0800 to 1300 on Saturdays. Please do abide by any signage relating to construction areas. The large open plan living area is wonderfully light with plush corner sofa, 8 seater dining table and a log burner for cosy nights in. The well equipped kitchen with island unit and seating, together with a cloakroom completes the ground floor interior while the exterior includes a large deck with outdoor dining furniture for 8 guests as well as a charcoal BBQ for al fresco dining.
The upstairs accommodation comprises 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There is a master bedroom with en-suite, a further large bedroom with en-suite; both of these bedrooms have access to the full width balcony overlooking the water. The bathrooms have large walk in showers.
There is a further small double bedroom and the fourth bedroom has bunk beds (top bunk suitable for a child only). There is a family bathroom with bath and overhead shower.
This holiday home includes parking on a drive at the side of the property and an EV charging point.
