If you're searching for a holiday cottage in Sheringham close to the sea, you won't get much better than this. Compass Rose Cottage sits in Sheringham's historic old town, positioned just moments from the promenade and sandy beach. With shops, cafĂ©s, restaurants, pubs and the famous North Norfolk Steam Railway all within a short stroll, you can enjoy a car‑free holiday on the coast.

This location is ideal for:
Families wanting quick, easy beach access Walkers exploring the North Norfolk Coastal Path Guests attending events in Sheringham and Cromer Anyone wanting a peaceful yet central seaside baseGround floor: Driveway with 2 steps down to: Rear entrance door leading into hallway with downstairs WC and wash basin and staircase leading to first floor. From hallway 1 small step leads into: Dining room with dining table and seating for 6, with doors leading to Lounge and Kitchen. A small step leads from the Dining room into the Lounge which has comfortable sofas and an armchair, with an electric log effect fire, 50" Smart TV, porthole window and front door (only used in emergencies). 2 steps take you from Dining room into Kitchen with fridge/freezer, electric oven with electric hob, microwave and dishwasher. 1 step leading up to: Family Bathroom: bath with shower over, heated towel rail, WC and wash basin with feature whitewashed cobble stone wall.
First floor: Staircase leading to small landing area with 3 bedrooms and separate WC and wash basin off. Double bedroom: with a super king size bed and wardrobe. Twin bedroom: with 2 single beds and wardrobe. Bunk Bedroom - suitable for children
Amenities: Outside: njoy meals or morning coffee in the cottage's private sunny patio courtyard, a lovely sheltered space ideal for relaxing after a day on the beach. Off road parking for up to 2 cars. Bed linen and towels provided. Wifi provided. Stairgate, Travel cot (please bring own bedding), high chair. ÂŁ100.00 refundable security deposit will be applied on booking. Sorry, pets not allowed. This property has an additional ÂŁ20.00 per week applied to it to cover the rising utility charges. Location: beach 100 meters, local shops 120 meters.

This cottage has everything you need to have a great time in sheringham,location close to high st ,parking for 2 vehicles,comfortable beds,3 toiletsand easĂż to use c/heating,just be aware there are a few steps on ground floor to negotiate.

Lovely cottage,everything was very good, lots of space,comfortable beds,excellent shower,3 toilets,plenty of plates and mugs etc,best accommodation we have stayed at in this area, parking for two cars ,close to sea front yet just off main high street, hopefully we will be back in the future

An excellent cottage in a perfect position.

Keys are always amazing in their customer service. Efficient and friendly. We always book with them. Compass Rose is a home from home. Comfortable, clean and very spacious. A perfect position for the beach and town and added bonus of having 2 parking spaces.

Excellent holiday cottage

We stayed at the cottage for a week with our grandchildren very comfortable and exceptionally well equipment. Enjoyed by all. My 8 year old granddaughter wrote in the comments book ‘Thank you for letting us stay here lots of cool stuff and near the beach really enjoyed it.’

A nice house to stay in near the sea

A very nice house, it looks small from the outside, but once you get inside there is loads of room, with plenty of seating, and only a five minute walk to the east beach or town, the only complaint we had to put in was that there is no lock on the upstairs toilet door, we will certainly try and book the house again.

I’m

This was our 2nd stay at Compass Rose, so we knew what to expect. We had another lovely week, in Sheringham and beyond. We like the proximity to the beach/coastal path and to the High Street in Sheringham, the off road parking, comfy beds, 3 loos, well equipped kitchen and great location for exploring North Norfolk. Higher speed Wi-Fi and a washing machine would be welcome additions to the cottage. But, overall a relaxing and peaceful location, with great amenities on the doorstep.

Another very nice stay at Compass Rose

A comfortable, well equipped cottage in an extremely good position for the beachfront and town. The new owners have added a family size fridge/freezer which was in our opinion very much needed. A washing machine would be a very convenient addition too! Would stay here again.

A lovely cosy cottage by the sea.

We spent a lovely week here. The cottage was cosy, comfortable and well equipped. Close to shops and the sea, with the added bonus of a parking space. A week of glorious weather was the icing on the cake!

Lovely Cottage in a Great Location

Very nice and clean cottage. Plenty of space and good facilities. All crockery and kitchen requirements you could need and three W.C’s was very useful with having a large family gathering in the evenings. Ideal location as only 100 yards from the beach front and similar distance to local shops and amenities. Would recommend.
