The lodge was lovely and clean and my kids spent the most of the time in the hot tub they loved it, bedrooms were nice sizes for the kids and our bedrooms was lovely the shower was so nice and powerful

A lovely family break at Christmas.

A lovely family break at Christmas. Our hot tube lights didn’t work which was a shame. A few bit in the lodge need attention such as stained seats and broken fencing.

The Lodge was not the cleanest we still found underwear in drawers from previous guests.

The Lodge was not the cleanest we still found underwear in drawers from previous guests. It could have done with more cutlery as once the dishwasher was half full you were running out. Great lay out though. Low but very comfy sofas which was nice after a long day.

Stayed in a Classic 6 berth lodge in Woodland View with hot tub, great location really quiet, tucked

Stayed in a Classic 6 berth lodge in Woodland View with hot tub, great location really quiet, tucked in the woodland area, only 5 min walk to the pools and bar area. The accommodation was good, the mattress felt cheap and could do with a change, but pleasantly surprised with an en-suite. The hot tub was a great option and good to chill at the end of the day, the buttons and jets were broken so just need some basic maintenance. We had our dog and plenty of decent walks, went down to the lakes a few times. The site itself is well maintained, quiet and has great facilities. We have been several times before and will no doubt be back as it’s a great base for trips to Teignmouth, Torquay, Topsham, Exeter and Dartmoor.

Beds took a bit of getting used to as very firm mattresses.

Beds took a bit of getting used to as very firm mattresses. Pillows were also firm. We asked for softer pillows and within 10 minutes they'd been delivered. I appreciate the firmness of mattresses is a personal choice. However the reception and housekeeping teams couldn't have been more helpful.

After receiving a call to advise our lodge was not available, we were move to a different lodge, we

After receiving a call to advise our lodge was not available, we were move to a different lodge, we were told in incorrect site, went to reception to get corrected site. On arrival at the site we could not gain access to then have to go back to reception to only find out that early check in had not been added. The location she was privately own, but the furniture was much too big for the lounge area and the lounge she needed a very good cleanIt’s also a shame that the bar does not open until 4 pm
