We couldnât have asked for a better place to spend time with family! So well equipped with everything we needed. Beautiful house. Comfortable in every way. Weâd stay there again!
Beautiful home and location. We had a wonderful family trip and made some great memories. I would recommend this home to anyone wanting some relaxation and quality time with family. But also close enough to activities!
Beautiful home with an amazing view of the Grand Tetons! Close to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. The house was very clean and well equipped with several amenities. Cute towns nearby with several restaurant options. Highly recommend this property as a family vacation destination!
This home was very clean, comfortable and perfect as a home base for our first visit to GTNP and Yellowstone. We really enjoyed visiting Driggs as well. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for our family. The property manager, Matt, was extremely responsive to an issue with water pressure in the house and even provided a portion of a refund for our trouble. We would definitely stay again!
Great house. We had a beautiful view of the Tetons from the front porch. Enjoyed the hot tub after active day. Also enjoyed walking around house to a lovely creek. House had nice supply of paper goods and fully equipped kitchen, games, folding chairs. Loved our week there!
Great home with complete amenities, amazing views, responsive host.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We are a family of 12 plus a pet and were comfortable with the space. Drive to West Yellowstone entrance was about 1 hr and 45 mins and it was about 1 hr and 30 mins to the Grand Tetons. Closest grocery store was 15 mins away at Driggs which was convenient. Loved the peaceful location of the home. Would stay here again!
we loved the house and our stay in Idaho.
The front porch and the views were spectacular.
We had 5 kids ages 7 thru 14 and they loved their room downstairs, it was perfect for them. Matt is very helpful and responsive to any questions that arise. It was an amazing getaway and we would not hesitate to return to this property..
We completely enjoyed our stay at this Leigh Creek home! It's a beautiful, spacious home with gorgeous scenery! We spent a lot of time soaking it all in on the large covered porch while relaxing in the hot tub. The kitchen was very accommodating for cooking our family meals. We did have a few questions during our stay and Matt was extremely prompt in responding back to us! I would definitely like to come back and stay again! Highly recommend!
This home was lovely with a modern kitchen, convenient location, and all the amenities that you might need for a wonderful vacation. The front deck was our favorite place. For a group of 9, it would have been nice to have more seating outside, at the table and in the living area so we could gather as a family.
Thanks!
Excellent property for 2 families including 5 teenagers. Convenient location between Yellowstone and Grant Teton National parks. Well maintained house on a calm lot with close access to the west side of the Teton mountains.
Check-in was easy, instructions were posted in the property and all amenities functioned without problems. We only communicated with Matt at the time of check out and he was responsive. I would recommend this property without hesitation to any group of 10-12 adults or 2 or 3 families staying in that area.
Our entire family (11 people plus 1 spoiled dog) were able to comfortably stay together in this gorgeous log cabin. We loved playing games in the large open areas and had a great time lounging outside on the covered deck. The home was very well equipped and had everything our group needed (plus some things we hadnât even thought of). The kitchen was perfect for making some stay at home meals and had plenty of pots, pans, and utensils. We had a great time playing corn hike and soaking in the hot tub. The grills were awesome and the parking was more than adequate for a large group.
The drive to the Tetons took a lot longer than we planned (2.5 hours) since the Teton Pass road collapsed but we found plenty of things to do on the Idaho side of the mountains. Driggs and Victor are nice little towns and there is a plethora of outdoor activities in the area. Be careful on the road to the cabin, some of those potholes are quite large. Also come prepared to battle mosquitoes on the front porch (it is summer after all).
Overall I would definitely recommend this cabin especially for large family groups. We had a blast!
Leigh Creek Log Home is a lovely mountain home in the middle of agricultural land and trees. The house is well appointed, with every imaginable need in the kitchen, nice cutlery, dishes, etc. We enjoyed the hot tub several evenings. The linens were lovely. The two managers were very accommodating, kind, and helpful. The house is fully wired for every need, with many lighting options, fan shut-offs, and safety alarms. The pebble flooring in the showers was beautiful and not slippery. Since we arrived late in the day, having the key in the lock box saved us from having to meet someone at the house at a certain time. The house IS 1 1/2 hours from the parks, especially Yellowstone, so the driving distance needs to be considered. It is also about the same distance to the Craters of the Moon Park in Idaho, but we didn't have enough days to get there. But, if you are looking for a nice place to stay and enjoy your family/friends, this one qualifies very nicely. It looks like it is really set up for skiing vacations, with garages (which we did not use) and boot racks. It is close to Driggs, which has a huge grocery store.
Very nice place. Accommodated all our families (three groups). Everything went very well, great communication with Matt.Plenty of room for everyone. Nice hot tub and decks.
We all really enjoyed our stay at this lovely home for our family reunion. We had a couple things come up during our stay and Matt was extremely responsive. We would definitely stay here again and/or rent any of Mattâs other properties. Everything was as pictured. The house was very well stocked and cozy. As an extra benefit, the radiant floor heating was great for the couple cooler nights we experienced. I need that for my house, it was so nice being comfortable without hot air blowing all over you.
The location is great if youâre trying to get to Grand Targhee, Yellowstone, and Tetons in one trip. Driggs is also a great small town to visit. Sadly the weather didnât hold up for us to make it to Yellowstone, but we would come back here again to make that trip in the future.
Mattâs place was perfect for our families to gather to finally celebrate our covid elopement. There was plenty of room for 13 people and everyone enjoyed their stay!
This was a great home and location for a vacation home. It is an hour drive to Jackson and 1.5 hour to West Yellowstone. What makes it great, is the ease of access to both location without all of the madness. Driggs, ID is 10 minutes away and has groceries, gas, and restaurants! Great fishing on the Teton River is 8 minutes away on the Cache Bridge.
Host is extremely quick to respond. Had a coffee pot break, and he had it replaced with a couple of hours with a brand new coffee pot. House was immaculate. The hot tub is one of the best I have been in, especially after long hikes. The front porch faces the Grand Tetons and the back porch had the best sunsets I have see. In a long time. Matthew is truly a super host. Thank you and we enjoyed our stay!
This is a very well maintained BEAUTIFUL property and the entire family loved staying there. The backyard was perfect for our dogs to run and play in. There is a road that runs by the house so you do need to have dogs that respond to your commands. Matt (the host) quickly arrived with mousetraps when I made him aware of an uninvited visitor and the little fella was caught and discarded. If your intent is to visit the national parks, Yellowstone south entrance is a two hour drive, Jackson 50 minutes and access to most hiking trails, again, about two hours. We felt the peace and quiet, the huge deck and mountain views were worth the location, however.. We've spent a great deal of time in the Colorado Rockies (have kids that live near Vail) but were all awestruck by the Tetons! Driggs (a ten minute drive) is a cute little town and met our needs for grocery shopping and dining out. I also took note of the sentiments that have been posted throughout the house. Well done!
This property met all our needs. Matt is very easy to work with as we had a few concerns. We reached out to him and he came by the house within 30 minutes. The hot tub was not warm enough, the fire table gave us trouble when trying to lite it and we did have a mouse issue. Matt brought extra mouse traps so we set them in the upstairs bedrooms and loft, by morning all three traps had mice in them. Luckily we are from the midwest and have experience using mouse traps. Would recommend this property to others.
Overall, a great experience. A few glitches as the hot tub needs a few repairs but the property is clean, well maintained and an exceptional experience.
