The Blacksmiths has a bright and spacious living area with comfy sofas and a flat screen TV. A stylish and homely spot, itâs ideal for relaxing with your loved ones on an evening.
The kitchen in the property is fully equipped for self-catering stays so you can prepare meals easily. Head to the dining area and youâll find a cosy space with a round table, a bench and two chairs. Patio doors open out to the yard which has outdoor seating.
The Blacksmiths has two beautifully decorated bedrooms on the ground floor. The master bedroom features a king size bed and the second is a double. Both bedrooms have bold colour schemes to create a lavish and luxurious feel.
Modern in style, the family bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower, vanity unit, basin and WC.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full apartment. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
On street parking is available on âThe Buttsâ which is no more than around 100 yards from the property. This is available on a first come, first served basis and charges may apply.
The Neighborhood:
The Blacksmiths is located in the beautiful village of Warkworth in Northumberland. With a 12th-century church and incredible castle, the area is steeped in history. Youâll experience some of the most beautiful views in Northumberland here as the River Coquet encircles the area.
The beautiful beach is just a short stroll from The Blacksmiths so itâs location is perfect for exploring the Northumbrian Heritage Coastline. Warkworthâs popular high street has artisan shops and youâll be able to enjoy delicious restaurants and cafes during your stay as well as a renowned art gallery and even a delightful French patisserie just yards from the cottage.
Warkworth is located in the historic market town of Morpeth. Exploring the cobbled streets, youâll discover independent shops, cosy pubs and high street favourites. If youâre looking for a full shopping experience, head to Sanderson Arcade and youâll find an array of stores as well as cafes, beauty bars and markets. When you want to get your hands on the best local produce, Morpethâs popular Farmers Market takes place every first Saturday of the month in the marketplace.
Getting Around:
Warkworth is well-served by the A1068 coast road if youâre coming from the North. If youâre travelling from the South, you can take the A19 and A189 until it merges with the A1068.
The closest train stations to Warkworth are Alnmouth to the north and Acklington to the south. Alnmouth has direct services to Kings Cross in around four hours, Edinburgh in an hour and Newcastle in half an hour. Alnmouth station is a 10-minute drive from Warkworth.
There are a number of bus routes through Warkworth. Hop on the T01 which travels between Alnwick and Amble or the X18 which has stops in Amble and Newcastle.
