Craigside rests in Betws-Y-Coed, Wales and sleeps six guests in three bedrooms.

This property hosts three bedrooms including a super-king-size, a king-size and a twin, along with a shower room and a cloakroom. The kitchen is home to a gas Rangemaster, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, wine cooler and a TV and there is a utility with a washing machine and tumble dryer. The dining room has a woodburning stove, seating for six guests and a selection of books, while the sitting room is offers a corner sofa, cuddle seat and a Smart TV. Outside, to the front and side is a lawn garden and to the rear is a patio with a hot tub, and you will also find off-road parking for four cars. Two well behaved dogs are welcome. Fuel, power, bed linen, towels and WiFi are all included in the rent. This is a non-smoking property. Within 0.2 miles you can stock up on the essentials at the shop, or head out to the pub. Craigside is the perfect retreat for outdoor activity lovers in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park.

Town: Betws-y-Coed, also known as the Gateway to Snowdonia, is the most popular inland resort in North Wales. This is a haven for walkers and outdoor enthusiasts alike, surrounded by dense woodland and magnificent mountain country. The River Conwy meets its three tributaries flowing from the west at Betws-y-Coed, and the area's beauty is enhanced by cascading waterfalls, river pools, and ancient bridges. The magnificent Swallow Falls, located where the Llugwy River hurls itself into a spectacular chasm, are the most famous of all. The village has shops, pubs, restaurants, a miniature railway, a riverside golf course, and the Tree Top Adventure High Ropes Course, as well as being the beginning of the beautiful Conwy Valley, which leads to the coast and the lovely towns of Llandudno and Conwy.

Needs maintenance

This home is really lovely Will decorated and with many comfort affordable amenities throughout that make for a pleasant day. However, a maintenance person needs to address a sluggish shower, drain that overflows quickly, visible mold in two bedrooms and the bathroom, and rodents in the attic that you can hear moving around and see many droppings from in nearly every window sill you open. If these issues were addressed, I would have given the property a much higher rating because it’s well decorated comfortable and super well located we enjoyed our stay but felt a little uncomfortable given that we couldn’t really open windows knowing bats were coming in and out of the attic all night.

Not accurate description of home

The pictures on the website were extremely misleading. The next door neighbors had an entire junkyard in their garden which was a huge eye sore for this home. The same as the backyard neighbors. We thought we'd be staying in a semi secluded cottage but it was far from that. Upoin arrival the home seemed to be in good clean order however as we began getting sorted, we noticed the downstairs bathroom bin was full of used feminine products, the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes, the shower was dirty and there was mold everywhere. Then as we went into the bedrooms, we found mold in the ceilinfs and the walls next to where our children were sleeping. I will say that the kitchen was very modern and perhaps the best part of the entire home but for the price we paid for the night, I would've expected the home to be much cleaner and the mold sorted out before guests check in. I personally wouldn't recommend this home especially if you have children that have severe allergies to mold.
