The beaches of Praia D'Oura and Forte de Sao Joao Beach are both a short stroll downhill in opposite directions, with long stretches of golden sand, crystal clear waters and plenty of watersports. The popular resort of Albufeira lies a short bus ride away. Explore its old town which is lined with a variety of shops and restaurants along the narrow, cobbled streets and the Fisherman's Beach.
