This house was perfect for us as a family with seven people. The location made it great for taking the train into Edinburgh. We highly recommend this place.
Second stay at the property, after our holiday last year. The house is still excellent, and itâs clear that the owners are maintaining it to an amazing standard. Location is fantastic, and everything is thoughtfully catered too. Would highly recommend.
The cottage was wonderful. Great location right on the water in a most charming little town. Easy to get to Edinburgh on the nearby train. Our stay was pleasant and memorable. Recommend the stay to any family looking to enjoy a few days in Scotland.
Our family had a really enjoyable week at The Bridges Cottage. Great location with easy train access into Edinburgh for the Fringe. The cottage had all we needed for a mixed generation family of six!
Perfect location for visiting the Edinburgh area. It was out of the hustle and bustle of the city, but walking distance to the train station so easy to get around. North Queensferry was a quiet and quaint community next to the water. Cute house with all you would want for a family get away. We would love to come back and stay here again.
We had a very nice stay here. The cottage is amazing. Clean, in a very good state and of high quality. The pictures do not lie. We visited during the holiday season to visit Edinburgh. In about 15 minutes you are at the Ingliston park and ride. From there we took the tram into Edinburgh.
We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Beachfront Cottage in North Queensferry. It was the perfect homebase for our three generation family as we explored Scotland for a week. The home was beautifully and thoughtfully renovated to make it comfortable for the entire family. The home was well appointed from comfortable bedrooms with closet space, large and well supplied bathrooms, and a kitchen with everything we could need for making meals at home. The outdoor space is very special and gave our young children space to run, jump, and explore the beach. Proximity for the train was a huge plus, though you do hear the train in the home.
This property is fantastic with all the views, cleanliness and attention to detail given. Our family had a wonderful time here and we would definitely return on future trips to Scotland.
Something to note (for older individuals with walking needs or anyone with walking needs), the hill to the tram is a steep climb. Not a detriment to the home or impossible to do, just something to be aware of. It would not prevent us from staying here again.
The cottage is brand new and has great modern facilities. Everything is as seen in the photos. The house is right on the Forth. In 10min you can reach the train station, from where the train takes 20min to Waverley (main station). The house is at the foot of the Forth Bridge, an impressive sight. (Trains cross the bridge, so noise sensitive people should be aware of this. It did not bother us)
From our point of view everything was perfect and we recommend the cottage without reservation!
Hi tech with vast number of electric sockets (main bedrooms had 14 each), very large tv and efficient wifi.
Very comfortable with fully equipped kitchen and generous bedroom space and storage.
Garden with easy access to coastal walks. Property is very near North Queensferry centre, National Acquarium and motorway network.
Only serious criticism is that with accommodation for seven people there were times when the absence of a third loo ( the only two being in the shower rooms) proved an âinconvenienceâ!
Great house to stay in. Lovely location. Fully equipped kitchen which meant we could cook instead of eating out each day. House was perfect for the six of us. Would definitely stay there again.
