The Space:
LIVING AREA
3 Queens Court has a cosy living area with two comfortable sofas and a flat screen TV. Huge windows overlook the sea so you can take in the magnificent views here, making it the perfect spot to relax.
KITCHEN
The property has a spacious kitchen diner. Fully equipped with modern appliances and cookware, you’ll be able to prepare meals easily during your stay.
GARDEN
Patio doors lead out into the enclosed patio and garden area which features simple outdoor furniture.
BEDROOM
3 Queens Court has four bedrooms. The master bedroom is located on the second floor and features an ensuite shower room. A window with sea views and a king size bed complete the space.
The second and third bedrooms can also be found on the second floor. The second bedroom has a double bed and the third features a bunk with two single beds. The fourth and final bedroom boasts two single beds making 3 Queens Court ideal for families with children.
BATHROOM
The family bathroom has a bathtub with an overhead shower, a WC and basin.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The property is accessed using a key safe and full details will be provided before your arrival date.
There is private parking for two vehicles at 3 Queens Court.
The Neighborhood:
Whilst you’re visiting Whitley Bay, we’d recommend visiting the two miles of golden sands and taking a look at the incredible views of the coastline from the Victorian lighthouse on St Mary’s Island. If you’re looking for somewhere to eat, head to Spanish City where you’ll find a Renaissance-style hall transformed with a fish and chip restaurant, a traditional tearoom, a waffle and pancake house and a champagne bar inside.
Getting Around:
Whitley Bay is just 10 miles from Newcastle and there are two Arriva bus routes which travel to the city centre. The 306 bus route has stops in Tynemouth, North Shields and Jesmond. The 51/51A has stops in Jesmond and Northumbria University.
There is a metro station located in Whitley Bay with regular routes to South Shields and Newcastle City Centre which can be reached within 25 minutes. The metro station is a 5-minute walk from 3 Queens Court. The closest mainline train station is Newcastle Central Station. From here, you’ll find regular services to and from London, Edinburgh and York.

Family get together
Great venue to meet up with family. Excellent location overlooking the beach/sea within easy walking distance of a couple of good restaurants. This was a return visit which we thoroughly enjoyed. Whitley Bay sea front promenade however is undergoing a transformative update causing disruption to traffic in the immediate area including directly outside the property. This did not affect our visit apart from having to navigate the new one way traffic system on our arrival.

Family gathering
Location was spectacular, accommodations the same. Property is very well equipped in comparison to other short term rental options we have used in the past. Our only disappointment was that we didnt book longer.

A vacation to remember
The property is well maintained and very neat. The neighborhood is equally suitable for real vacation. Proximity to the town centre is excellent. The property is well furnished with upscale household appliances.

Beautiful beach house
We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at 3 Queens court in Whitley Bay. Can't beat the location with gorgeous sea views! The property was well appointed with very comfortable beds and couches. Lovely kitchen and large dining table. Option to enjoy a coffee on the front terrace while taking in the sea view or the more private back patio. Perfect for a large family or group of friends. Highly recommend.

Family get together by the sea
Modern spacious with plenty of room for the whole family.Warm, light, airy with magnificent sea views. Well furnished and equipped. Teenagers had their own space, and an en-suite room for the oldies. The two large living areas allowed everyone to do their own thing. Also large enough for us to entertain other family members who joined us for the evening and meal on a couple of occasions. It suited our needs perfectly.We would have liked a better supply of cleaning items, like a sweeping brush, paper towels and washing up brush and cloth , and only 3 dishwasher tablets provided! So we ran out on last day and dishes left unwashed. The only major problem was on our arrival. My husband and I arrived at 4.00 pm as arranged, and the rest of the family were to come later after 6. We were unable to gain access as key box would not unlock. Telephone calls to host failed to resolve problem. No one available to come for several hours. My husband is in mid mid-eighties and frail and easily made anxious and confused , and it looked like a horrendous start to holiday. Problem was resolved by arrival of our son who hurried from work to rescue us, and he managed to force box open and get key and we gained access just as remainder of family arrived at 6.30. It was a bumpy start but it did not in end spoil holiday.

That said, we’re very sorry for the stressful experience you had upon arrival. We completely understand how difficult and concerning this must have been—particularly for you and your husband—and we deeply regret the delay and lack of immediate support in resolving the issue with the key box. This should never have happened, and we are now reviewing both our access instructions and support response process to ensure no guest is ever left in that position again.
We also appreciate your feedback regarding the cleaning supplies and dishwasher tablets. While we provide a starter pack, it’s clear that this was not sufficient for a longer family stay. Based on your comments, we’ll be reassessing what we include to better meet guest needs moving forward.
Thank you again for highlighting both the positives and areas for improvement. We’re so pleased the rest of your holiday went well, and we truly hope to welcome you back under much smoother circumstances next time.

Perfect location
The house is spotless and the most perfect location for sea/beach lovers.
Apart from the windows which were sea sprayed on arrival and were not clean all week. Sadly blurs the view unless you open the windows,
Communication with owners/management is easy however they did not deal with a few of the things that we contacted them about.
on arrival, the outside bin to the property was overflowing with rubbish and bags of more rubbish on top and beside the bin. We as guests are kindly asked to put the bins out for bin day (which was the day after we arrived). We would have no problem doing this but refused due to the state of it. There were also ripped up mail all over the drive and the garden upon our arrival. we informed our contact immediately via email and they did reply quickly but the bin was not dealt with the duration of our stay (6 nights). Due to weather and seagulls we kept our rubbish inside the property which isn’t pleasant!
The day we arrived we also informed them that the main bedroom blind was broken and we were unable to lower the blinds at night or to get privacy. Bright early morning starts, no privacy and having to get changed in the en suite all week for us!
I’d suggest to any other guests to bring toilet roll as the rolls provided are the cheapest paper and did not last two days let alone a week (2 adults and six children) Please also bring hand soap as two small soap bars divided by three toilets was all that was provided. I did ask if there were anymore in the property on the same email but this question went unanswered too. These are basic things in a holiday let.
They did however deal with a top window that wouldn’t lock as soon as possible but other than that we were left to deal with the rest and our questions left unanswered.
The house is well equipped, clean and comfortable, the beds are amazingly comfy and the bedding is great quality. It’s a shame that our small questions were ignored as it tarnished this review massively for us.
