Modern, stylish double room with high quality en-suite facilities. 32" Digital Smart TV, 1000 pocket kingsize bed (5 foot wide) bath robes, luxury toiletries, complementary tea and coffee tray including filter coffee, tea, fruit teas, hot chocolate and biscuits. Dimensions 2.4m x 4.2m excluding bathroom.

The Helaina is a Winner of 'Guest Accomodation of the Year' Yorkshire Coast and rated as 5 Star Guest Accomodation by Visit Britain. It is located within a quiet area of Scarborough, yet is just a 5 minutes walk from Scarborough's North and South beaches, the town centre and historic harbour. The Helaina overlooks Scarborough's North Bay with stunning of the sea, beach, castle and miles of coastline

There is no shortage of great pubs, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. The Helaina is perfectly placed for walkers, and superb local cliff walks are easily accessed from the accommodation. Alternatively a few minutes' drive brings you onto the North Yorkshire Moors. Free local parking permits are available to our guests on arrival, and the accommodation has a licensed drinks service and free WiFi throughout.

Our newly refurbished rooms are modern, stylish and very comfortable. Guests enjoy high quality en-suite facilities with soft bathrobes, large bath towels, beautiful toiletries and 1000 pocket sprung beds. Our bedrooms are packed with goodies including free WiFi, digital TV, hair driers, and refreshments including biscuits, tea, filter coffee, fruit teas and hot chocolate. Guests can expect the highest quality decor.

We offer a great breakfast menu including; Full English, Full Vegetarian, Smoked Salmon Scrambled Eggs and Bagel and a range of Omelettes and Toasties. A continental selection of fresh Cafetiere Coffee, a choice of Breakfast, Fruit and Herbal Teas, Fruit Juices, fresh Fruit Salad, Pastries, Yogurts and freshly baked Bread. Breakfast is always served to 10am on the weekends.

Best hotel we've stayed in.

We received a lovely warm welcome. The whole place was lovely and clean, well presented. The breakfast was unbeatable - selection of cereals, fruit salads, preserves. Hubby had the cooked Yorkshire breakfast which was hot, cooked to perfection and well presented, I had the salmon and poached eggs first day which was lovely, but a bit too much salmon for me. The other 2 days I had the 3 egg omelette which was delicious. The lady serving breakfast was very friendly.

Another lovely visit.

The Helaina is a spotless, comfortable place to stay with fantastic breakfasts. The staff are very friendly and we all feel happy staying here. We were a party of 3 couples who have stayed here twice now and another couple of friends joined us and all 8 of us enjoyed it. Looking forward to our next visit.

Lovely quiet location, room nice and clean, high standards especially the modern bathroom. Little touches ie bath robes, toiletries etc. Manager was very welcoming and explained all about breakfast choices, times etc. a really relaxing break. Will definitely be returning.

Fabulously clean hotel with very friendly staff

We liked everything, apart from the room being a little bit small. I am in hospitality myself and know how hard it is to keep standards of hygiene and cleanliness to the level you are maintaining. We loved the breakfast and Millie was so helpful when we were wondering where to put the parking badge on the bike.! We also loved the sea view which was a real sea view, unlike some hotels where you have a glimpse over rooftoops. I have posted a 5 star review already on google

As always another wonderful stay

Tom and Jill, always make us feel so welcome, they can't do enough for us, when we visit, the staff are also wonderful, The bedrooms are beautiful, and the breakfast, is always amazing, choices are great This trip I took a friend with me, and he couldn't get over how nice everyone was, Can't wait till we can visit again, And hopefully, the penthouse room, will be free, as it is outstanding, The views from all the rooms, in the front of the Helena, look out onto the sea, highly recommend

A comfortable, cosy, clean and friendly. Couldn’t have asked for more.

We arrived early in order to get parked up and intended to go for a walk. We were greeted warmly and told our room was ready so we checked in. The room had a lovely view, was cosy, clean and very comfortable. It was well stocked with teas and coffees and toiletries in the bathroom. We slept really well in the comfy bed and had a fab breakfast in the morning. Staff couldn’t be more friendly or do enough for us. Would stay here again for definite!

Second time staying here , spotless, very friendly

The location is good not far out of centre, the rooms are lovely and clean, we have stayed here before in the penthouse, this time we went with friends in two double rooms very clean and everything you need, our friends have already said they will go back. Breakfast is lovely and the staff are very friendly nothing too much trouble .

Great Location

Room was extremely small, offered an upgrade at the back of the hotel which was really nice but we booked for a sea view so declined the offer. Breakfast was great, would have like some fresh bread rolls on the continental offering, rather than just toast. The hotel was lovely & warm & inviting, & extremely clean in a great location.
