We had an amazing stay in Bala. Such a beautiful property and absolutely lovely hosts. It provided a perfect clean, homey atmosphere while exploring Eryri National Park. Came equipped with everything we needed, could not recommend this spot enough!

What a lovely place and lovely people so well done and set in a wonderful part of Bala .

Would strongly recommend this lovely place for a quiet getaway ideal spot for travelling to parts of Wales.

Tranquil stay

A peaceful few days in the countryside in a well equipped cottage with sunny patio at the rear.Friendly and helpful hosts.Plenty of country walks nearby.

We really enjoyed our stay the location is lovely and quiet. The annexe was absolutely spotlessly clean and had everything in you need. The hosts are friendly and helpful if we needed anything we only had to ask. I can’t fault it at all and would definitely be going back again.

We had a locely stay here in Bala. The house was spotless, very comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The location was ideal - perfectly placed for hiking and exploring the area. Check-in was quick and easy. We’d love to come back again - highly recommended!

Devine cottage in Bala

This cottage was beautiful! So comfortable and better than the photos (unlike many places). Hosts were friendly and helpful with tips for activities. Would highly recommend to other travellers

Wonderful few days

Our stay was amazing and everything we hoped it would be. Karen and her family made us very welcome. The property was fantastic and very comfortable. We had the peace and quiet we needed and the location was perfect. Will definitely book to stay again.

A fab place to have a quiet getaway

We had a fab couple of days away. The place was excellent. Lovely big bed, comfy space with good heating and a lovely outside space to complement the inside. Karen was great and the area was beautiful and quiet. A great place to rest and recharge.

Lovely, spotless and very comfortable accommodation, set on a tranquil and picturesque location.The owners are more than helpful.Nice touches on arrival.The quirky garden room fashioned from an old railway wagon is an excellent feature.Looking forward to returning for another break in the future.

Absolutely idyllic little place with everything you need in a hideaway. Karen and her family were so friendly - making sure we had everything we needed. In terms of location - we parked the car and didn’t use it once during our stay. Great walking from the door - and excellent public transport. Thank you!

Great place to stay

Welcoming and informative hosts. Peaceful with varied walks straight from the door. The railway carriage makes an interesting addition to the well equipped cottage. Can highly recommend.

Perfect couple retreat!

If you want a cozy, authentic Welsh cottage with high charm levels we highly recommend this property. The place was very clean and well stocked. The quirky details inside and out are unique and lovely. Everything about our stay was perfect from the comfortable bed to the genuine and engaging hosts. Outstanding in all aspects

A fantastic property in a stunning location. The accommodation was immaculate and offered all the home comforts . A clean and warm environment creating a relaxing atmosphere. The owners were very welcoming and friendly and made our stay pleasurable. We will definitely be coming back .

SUPERB experience

The hosts were SO helpful to me and treated me just like family. I felt so welcome. The cottage is gorgeous and homey. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a "real" Wales experience, rest, relaxation, and being treated like royalty.

A great place to stay

If you like nature and a great place in Wales. We were truly surprised by this great cottage and extremely warm and communicative hosts. The cottage has been refurbished with lots of nice personal details. We felt very welcome. Snowdonia is beautiful and the people very friendly. Please check for music festivals😄

Just wow, immaculately clean, extremely comfortable and in an amazing location, being rural yet a 20 minute walk/1 minute drive into Bala high street or the lake.The hosts are a lovely kind family who catered for every need yet leave you to enjoy privacy of the beautiful detached annex. The icing on the cake was a small railway carriage on your own spacious private expansive patio. Centrally located for touring North Wales.Peaceful, relaxing and plenty of walks from the doorstep. Beyond Our Expectations

This was a lovely little cottage, so compact and self-contained. All equipment - kitchen, bathroom, bed - was first class. The little railway wagon fitted out with coffee maker and TV was just perfect. The hosts were marvelously accomodating, and the location is beautiful. We loved the welcome bonus of two little bottles of prosecco!

What a Gem of a find

Absolutely stunning property in a beautiful location with wonderful hosts. My friend and I wanted a little weekend away that didn’t cost the Earth. We both had an amazing weekend. Lots of lovely walks, the weather was gorgeous and we even managed a few hours at Barmouth beach. The old railway carriage on our patio was such a brilliant addition. Would highly recommend
