The property served us well for a base throughout our stay and great public transport links. Although, the property throughout needs a spruce up as looking abit tired. A few items need fixing e.g door handle of washing machine, plug cap on iron, shower screen leaking water on the floor behind the toilet and frayed rubber seal,no blind/curtains in the sitting room. Although these things did not effect our stay, it's worth mentioning when you are paying to stay in a property. One thing I would like to address is, when we arrived we couldn't find the property and we didn't have any arrival details until I contacted the property manager via messenger because the telephone number didn't connect, which after a long drive caused some anxiety when waiting for a reply, it would of been much easier if we had all the details forwarded 24hrs before our arrival.
The property is convinient for wembley and the city. It was tired but functional for somewhere to sleep. It didn't have an allocated parking space as described. No curtains at the window in the living room and a fridge in the lounge as the one next to it in the kitchen is not working. We were disappointed to wake to ants crawling over our bedroom floor and on clothes we had placed on the table in the bedroom. We tried to contact the emergency number to alert the owner to this to no response, we did receive a call two days later, and were also disappointed by the owners response when we asked for a partial refund due to our poor experience. Obviously this may have been a one off but clearly we didn't expect to have to de-bug prior to leaving a property. And would have appreciated a more helpful response on the day or after.
The property is very clean and well equipped for our stay. The host was very polite and helpful. The rooms are large and my daughter enjoyed the internet TV. It was a lovely apartment. The location is good for commuting into the centre of London for sightseeing
The flat was very much as on the pictures. No complaints and it was cleaned and tidy. There was one issue with one of the beds were solved quickly and with fast communication and support which i appreciated very much.
It was all good except few rhings. Only thing is that the bathroom was too small and water was splashing out of glass. Glass was half covered. Would be better if fully covered so water doesn't come out.
No dryer machine after laundry.
The positive- the location is great and close to tube line taking you straight into central London.The negatives- Everything else. The accommodation was not as listed. I had come all the way from Australia. Firstly, the host did not respond to messages the whole way through this process. For days! The booking was made through stayz-vrbo who had the details of the booking but the host claimed we did not have a booking. No one took ownership of this mistake and took many calls and stress to get this rectified. When we arrived I contacted the host as requested (after finally receiving some communication on how to check in). I did not know how to use the heating nor the wifi so asked about this. No response. That same first evening I made contact with the host to let him know that the accommodation was not clean. The sheets were stained, the couch was stained, the limited towels were stained. A power outlet was unsafe. The dishes in the cupboard had dirty stains. We took some photos of this too. After sending a second message I received nothing until check out. I am absolutely appalled at this lack of communication. When I contacted stayz/vrbo they attempted to advocate on my behalf and were not able to Contact the host. Unacceptable service. I did not ask for a full refund however would have appreciated some kind of compensation considering the poor communication. Got nothing from host nor VrboDisappointed to say the least.
I especially enjoyed the easy access to public transit. Don't bother renting a car in London. Public transit is great. There's a bus stop in front of the property which will take you to Brent Cross Shopping Center, where a short cab ride will take you to Brent Cross station or Finchley Central station, and you've got access to all of London from there.
Wir wussten, dass es etwas auĂerhalb liegt und daher kann man es nicht bemĂ€ngeln. Die Einrichtung macht aber leider einen verwohnten Eindruck. Man hat alles was man braucht, aber auf den Fotos sieht es noch frisch und modern aus, aber vor Ort, sieht man, dass es alles schon Ă€lter ist. Nachts hatten wir Probleme einzuschlafen, weil nicht nur die StraĂe sehr nah und laut ist, sondern die GerĂ€usche der Nachbarn sehr laut durch die dĂŒnnen WĂ€nde kommen. Schade eigentlich. FĂŒr ein verlĂ€ngertes Wochenende war es ok, zu mal die Preise in London ja sonst viel höher sind, aber lĂ€nger hĂ€tte ich nicht bleiben wollen.
