Cette belle maison en bois rond, se trouve sur 1 acre. Paisible et calme, mais à distance de marche du parc d'État de Catawba, de la plage Gem, des restaurants, des bars, du golf, du ferry Miller pour Put n Bay et d'autres îles du lac Érié. Cedar Point est à 30 minutes en voiture.
Grande navigation de plaisance, pêche, golf, natation sur la magnifique île de Catawba. 2 foyers, dont un au gaz. Grande terrasse à l'arrière et à l'avant également. Un étage et demi avec chambre principale / salle de bain en haut des escaliers en colimaçon avec balcon en dessous, et également balcon supérieur à l'extérieur de la chambre principale, avec une belle vue sur les bois et le feuillage.
La grande salle est de 26 pieds de plafond voûté avec de belles grandes fenêtres et une belle grande cheminée en pierre (gaz). A un énorme canapé sectionnel confortable, une grande télévision, Internet. La cuisine est entièrement meublée! Apportez simplement votre nourriture préférée! 2 autres chambres en bas des escaliers, avec des lofts.
Salle de lavage avec laveuse / sécheuse et salle de bain en bas.
La maison est refroidie avec de grands ventilateurs de plafond dans toute la maison. Il y a une remise à l'arrière avec des chaises de plage, des tables, des chaises, un parasol pour votre usage.

Fishing Lodging

We had a great stay at this beautiful log home! It was a wonderful location for our fishing charter with two other couples. The home was very comfortable and plenty spacious for cooking a meal together, relaxing together in the great room and bedrooms were spacious with comfy beds Fun and delicious restaurants nearby, the Orchard farmstand is within walking distance! We’d definitely stay again

Amazing Island Stay

My friends and I stayed here for a wedding on Catawba Island and had an amazing time. The location to everything on the island was perfect. The house itself was also perfect for hanging out in between events and playing yard games in the back!!

Beautiful Home, Great Location

We were here one week, and were close to everything we wanted to see and do. We went to South Bass, Marblehead, the State Parks, and more. Then we came home to a peaceful place, and relaxed. Great Vacation!

Beautiful home on a great property

Perfect for our family, great location convenient to markets, restaurants and bars and the ferry. Twin Oast, Rudders and the Market are all great vibes. Kitchen is well stocked. Host was very accessible and helpful. Got a little stuffy at times without AC but the fans generally did the job.

Great property! It was beautiful and had everything you needed! AC unit in main bedroom was great kids had multiple fans. it was a bit hot but cooled off most nights. I had to fill the propane tank as no propane was left between grill and the fire pit : the only inconvenience. Would def stay again!

Awesome getaway close to home

Our family and my brother in laws family stayed here (4 adults, 4 kids under 3) and had plenty of space! Super clean and great quiet location. We were skeptical of no AC but it really wasn’t a problem at all! If you are considering staying here- we recommend! Our only complaint is the spiral staircase was not super functional for us.

the house was clean and well equipped, we were worried about the fact there is no AC but there are plenty of fans for air circulation and the evenings were pretty nice and keeping cool was not a problem. Great location!

This property is SO nicely located for seeing all of the Lake Erie Islands, then returning “home” to relax on the back deck. Our stay was during the extreme heat wave hitting the Midwest & having multiple days with temps over 85 and “feels like temps” over 90 really made us long for AC. However, we learned to visit the shoreline or islands for breezes these days and by evening the temps were bearable.

Comfortable property, close to Catawba Island's bests!

The property was very comfortable for our family and was well stocked to make meals. It was conveniently located to Miller's Ferry, Twin Oast, Rudders, Gideon Owen, parks, along with lots and lots of other fun things to do in the area. Our kids loved the big back yard. The house stayed comfortable with the fans, even in early August! The only small downside was the narrow spiral staircase, but we were aware ahead of time and did get used to it. Carol was very easy to work with and we hope to stay again sometime!

Perfect location

A group of high school friends got together after 30 years and couldn’t have had a better place to stay. The location was centra to every place each of us wanted to go. Plenty of room for us all and we enjoyed ourselves. Carol was very responsive. Without air the fans were perfect and cooled off perfectly for us at night. Our weather was great.

Calm Retreat

Great location near local deli (3/4 mile round trip), short walk to a beach. We were vacationing with family who stayed at the campground ~1 mile away, so was easy to go back and forth. Lovely backyard - I did yoga on the deck both mornings in the dabbled shade of the trees. Breezy when both front and back slider doors are open. When temps got to high 70s the upper bedroom was hot overnight and could have used a lighter throw on the bed. Upstairs room also got LOTS of sunlight early, so bring an eyemask/shade for sleeping. Overall pleasant base for us to escape to when we needed a break.

Girls trip

We enjoyed our stay, however the beds downstairs were pretty hard. The upstairs bedroom was the only King bed but not easy to get to because of the very narrow spiral staircase. Trying to pull a suitcase up those steps was difficult. We ended up sleeping on the couch. The other 2 bedrooms were nice but again the beds were extremely hard. Overall the house was in a good location. We loved the back porch and fire pit. Tried to use the grill but it was either out of gas or broken?? Beautiful weather...

I have been on Catawba Island for 28 years and raised my family here. We absolutely Love it here!!
There was a small cottage on this property, in which was torn down and I built this modern log home in 2006.
So much to do year round, but of course our favorite time of the year here is summertime! Lots of fun, food, music, boating, fishing, swimming, activities for all! All within walking distance and very short drives.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

IAs a little girl, I always traveled up here with my Dad and his work. I just loved Catawba Island, and promised myself I would live here one day!
My children and I always felt we had the best of both worlds here. Off the beaten path, yet everything within walking distance and or short drives. The property is surrounded by woods, front and back, yet we walked to the beach every single day! We also sailed here for 15 years. Fantastic memories!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

It's cozy quiet, yet if you want busy, you can get that too!
The Catawba Island Sunsets are fantastic! We normally walk, bike or drive to the CIC State Park to watch!
At the end of the Island is the Miller Ferry Boat, which goes to Put-n-Bay, and or South Bass, and to Middle Bass as well. It's a beautiful, short. 15 minute ride. You can take bicycles, golf carts, motorcycles, and your cars over on the Ferry as well. Put-N-Bay is a fun Island with so much to do!
Relax when your back from a long, fun day, in the back yard. Grill up some good food, and relax!
