A former Methodist Chapel, a short walk from Easington beach, converted to provide a large open plan living / kitchen diner with many original features incorporated into the design, (including the original pulpit). The accommodation has 2 separate bedrooms with 2 additional sofa beds, providing ample sleeping facilities. TV with Netflix, WiFi, and a piano will keep you entertained if you cannot get out into the garden and further afield onto the nearby beach and Spurn Heritage Coast. Easington has two pubs in the village and is a short drive to the seaside resort of Withernsea.
Fabulous quality conversion of the old weslyn chapel. Easy access to the beach, spurn point and nature reserve. Lovely countryside and walks. Our second stay and we will be back.
This is an amazing holiday home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautifully converted from the old chapel & many original features cleverly incorporated into the overall design. Very clean, well equipped & lots of treats waiting for us on arrival. Would definitely stay again & would recommend to anyone :)
We enjoyed our July stay here. The property is very spacious and has tons of character. Off road parking was a bonus. The location is great for walking around the Spurn Heritage Coast area and we walked out from the property leaving the car a couple of times. We had the bonus of great weather for our 4 night stay. The bedroom & bed was comfortable. Hot water easy to switch on and lasted well. Good wifi, we didn't use the TV much but it was ok the couple of times we watched it.In July and a warm weather spell the accommodation was lovely, nice and cool inside though I could see how it might be cold in the winter.
The church is fantastic. The online pictures really don't do it justice. We stayed for a few days over October half term. Reading some of the previous reviews I was worried about the heating, but with fire in kitchen in the evening it really wasn't cold at all. We enjoyed our stay a lot, the little touches from the welcome basket to fire wood and bike being provided everything has been perfect, EVEN the weather. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. Highly recommend and hope to come again in the future. Bettina
Beautiful property with lovely warm bedrooms & excellent kitchen/dining/seating areas. Unfortunately it is not a place to go in winter. The massive room is cold & the bathroom was freezing, so much so that we couldn't take a bath or shower. Consequently we went home early. The owner was really nice & helpful but
Old chapel converted to an extremely high standard incorporating many of the old features. It brought back memories of going to Sunday school there. We loved our stay and will definately return. So much to explore both nature and history.
Beautiful property, very clean and exactly as described. Lovely welcome pack on arrival. Perfect location for a lovely sandy beach within walking distance or exploring the nearby spurn point. Nearby pub had great food. Would highly recommend
Generally a very interesting property retaining many of the original features of the chapel. Good location for bird watching at Spurn. The bathroom is at the opposite end of the property from the bedrooms, so there is a bit of a walk through the living area. The heating was just adequate for the time of year, but the lack of heating at one end of the property may be a problem in colder times.
