Really lovely places to stay for a couples get away. Owners have thought of everything, with the property having everything you will need for your stay, whether you're there for a few days or a whole week. Highly recommend this cosy stay. They have carefully thought of every detail, with everything impeccably clean and recommendations for the local area.

Lovely quiet and restful stay. The hot tub is fab and the lodge is comfy, well equipped, clean and done out to a high standard. We really enjoyed our stay and will return sometime to further explore the wonderful Forest of Dean.

Fabulous Getaway!

Everything was easy straightforward to the arrival to the departure. The lodge itself was lovely clean spacious and peaceful! The hot tub was the added bonus which we used every evening we were there. Everything we needed! Lovely town, lots to do and was a very much needed relaxing break! We would love to return!

The whole experience was fantastic and the host was right at the end of communication whene needed.

Loved the place, shower was the best l’ve ever had in all my stays. The hot tub was so therapeutic especially the powerful massage l got from it having driven from Surrey. The whole experience and stay was top notch. Didn’t find any restaurants nearby which is not the host responsibility.

Great bungalow, wonderful hot tub

This is a lovely, clean bungalow which is modern and well equipped with everything you could possibly need.The highlight is most definitely the hot tub! We spent 4 hours in there one evening. It was 2 degrees and we were so warm and toasty. It was fabulous!

Great communication with Zoe and James straight off from booking the property. Thoroughly well equipped Lodge with all modcons. In a great relaxing Location. Hot Tub was excellent. Attention to detail was spot on with the providing of Robes and Slippers for the Hot Tub a real plus.

Excellent Accommodation

This is the 2nd time we have visited but under new owners. Can honestly say that the communication from Zoe was brilliant. All texts and emails I sent were answered very quickly. Updating us and keeping us informed of local places to visit, directions and a lovely welcome pack of chocolates, milk, juice and tea and coffee etc was waiting for us... Lovely thought to walk into. Heating on , towels, extra bits in the food cabinet and all you need for washing up. The whole place was immaculately clean and comfortable and the hot tub is an amazing extra. Have to try it. Even on a chilly day. Will definitely be returning for maybe even longer break. Thanks for the loan of your beautiful home. X

Cinderford Stay

The little lodge was just right for the 2 of us for our short break to recharge our batteries. The lodge was as described the hosts were great, kept in touch not pushy at all, the hot tub was great. We would Wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone , great little fined.

Luxury stay for a visit to the Forest of Dean

Faultless luxury accommodation in a quiet area out of the town in the heart of the Forest of Dean. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and the hosts couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Will definitely return with our bicycles 🚴

This is a hidden gem

This property exceeded all expectations, this is a beautiful property and pictures just doesn’t do it justice. It’s very nice and spacious and the bedroom is so cosy. The highlight was obviously the hot tub and the fire place, having all these things for that price, not only is it an absolute bargain but it was genuinely amazing. The hot tub was so relaxing in the evening and you get a lovely view of the stars. I would highly recommend going here before it’s always booked up. I was here for 4 nights and wished I stayed for longer. You’ll definitely need a car but because of its location but there are so many things accessible to you from a driving distance. I will definitely be coming back in the future. Zoe & James, you guys have done well with this property.

A lovely honeymoon get away

My husband and I booked Casita Lodge for our honeymoon. The cottage is wonderful and incredibly romantic with its hot tub and log burner. Zoe and James were quick to respond when the gate refused to lock and checked the hot tub levels daily. The location is nice, however you do have to drive to a lot of places, as this beautiful cottage is rather secluded and a bit of a trek to most places to eat or other experiences.
