Quayside Cottage - Stoneâs Throw From Poole Quay
Quayside Cottage is a terraced house built in 1884! It is less than a 5 minute walk to Poole Quay, restaurants, shops, supermarkets and the high street! Poole Train Station is a 10 minute walk away, taxis are available from the station and bus stops nearby.
The Channel Ferry is just a 5 minute walk/ 1 minute drive, offering trips to Cherbourg, St Malo, Guernsey & Jersey.
Bournemouth Airport is a 25 minute drive away.
The cottage includes free 'Superfast Virgin Media' Wi-Fi throughout.
2 bedrooms (both first floor). The first bedroom comprising of a King Sized Bed that can also BE CONVERTED to 2 Single Beds if required.
The second bedroom comprising of one Double Bed.
Both bedrooms have televisions, dressing space, wardrobe space with hangers and room for suitcases.
2 Bathrooms, which allows separate washing spaces for friends, couples and families. (1 on the ground floor with a shower and one on the 1st floor with a bath and shower.)
A fully equipped kitchen (Coffee Machine uses Coffee Pods/Pads which can be bought online at websites such as Amazon. Model: Philips Senseo. 'Senseo' and 'Douwe' pods/pads for example are compatible.)
A utility space with a washing machine, iron and ironing board. Laundry basket, pegs, beach towels are also provided.
A spacious dining area (with a few books, toys and games in the cupboards for fun games nights!) This space also has a desk for working on the go!
Sitting room, including a brand new October 2025 "Smart" Samsung TV, with HD channels and has the option of most streaming services (YouTube, Netflix, Prime, etc. if own accounts are used to log in.) A decorative electric wood burner is set in an original fireplace for that cosy night glow.
A private garden with an outdoor dining set on a decked area and bistro set separately to enjoy sunny barbecues (briquettes not included.)
The garden also includes a lockable shed for bike/equipment storage (surfboards/paddle boards etc.) Sun loungers are also kept here. The garden also has a washing line.
The cottage has 1 free guaranteed parking space on the cottage's front drive for one car only. If you have a long/large car, note there WILL be an overhang- however this is more than fine to do so here (it's a residents only parking area outside.) Not suitable for Vans/Camper vans/Trailers.
The cottage also has free residents parking on a tarmac area outside of the property which you are more than welcome to park on too/if you'd prefer, as residents of Quayside Cottage, however please note that these particular spaces are not guaranteed.
For The Duration Of Your Stay: One Bath Towel and One Face Towel per guest is provided. Tea towels, toilet roll, bin liners, washing up liquid and hand wash. Bed linen is provided per stay.
The cottage DOES NOT allow Electric Car Charging/ "granny" chargers of any kind due to fire hazards in the cottage and new regulations. (EV Charging points are available a 2 minute drive away should this be necessary.)
THIS IS A NON SMOKING AND NO PET POLICY HOME. 4 GUESTS MAXIMUM. NO PARTIES OR GATHERINGS. NO electric charging due to fire hazards and new fire regulations.
