I stayed at many homes at Lake Harmony but for some reason this house here really felt like home I will be coming back again at this same house me and my family really loved it

We had a wonderful time relaxing and unwinding here. Highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to unwind. The property is immaculate and fully stocked with anything you could need. Our holiday exceeded expectations and we loved exploring the Poconos Mountains. Thank you!

Great house and location

The house was perfect for us, two adults and two older teenagers. It was cozy and everyone had their own space if they wanted it. The teens liked hanging out in the back porch/sunroom with the comfy couch and games. We had a fire every night in the backyard. We just loved everything about the house, it really felt like home. We met a lot of the neighbors and they were awesome too. Lake access is literally straight across the street from the driveway. It was an easy walk down and back with the kayaks. We will definitely be back!

Cute Little Home with Great Amenities

This was a great little home with lots of amenities. We are a family of 4 and we all slept comfortably. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need. Even spices and oils. Love the easy access to the Lake. It was a clean place with cute little decorative touches. Kevin was quick to respond to my inquiries and made checkin and out very easy for us. We would definitely book again when we come back to Lake Harmony. The lake was clean and not too busy. And the person who owns the land by the public water access was very nice and has is setup like a little grove with a bench swing and grass for all to enjoy. He was very nice and let us borrow his peddle boat and kids kayak and even offered to give us a ride in his pontoon boat. We were very happy with our stay!

Cozy and relaxing!

Upon arriving, it was just wow every turn we took inside the house. Everything looked just like it did in the pictures. One thing that did scare us was the fact that there weren't curtains, but hanging out with my friends and feeling at home made me forget about that. We were enjoying ourselves too much to care. The place was well-equipped with pretty much anything we needed, from baking sheets and pots down to the aluminum foil. It was great because we had forgotten a few things at Walmart and we didn't have to make the trip back out there, it's at least 25 minutes! We had stayed for the lantern festival and the house was only less than 15 mins. away, really convenient. Kevin was also very responsive (always within a few minutes) and helpful with any questions/requests I had. Great host and awesome property! I would recommend this place to anybody looking to stay in the area!

We are glad you enjoyed your stay at our home. I just wanted to point out that all the bedrooms have curtains and blinds. The living room and porch are the only rooms without window treatments. Also Ahart's, our local grocery store is only 15mins away, a much easier drive than going to the Walmart. Thanks for the review.

Lake Harmony retreat

We enjoyed our stay in Lake Harmony. The home was clean, decorated nicely and good location to the lake!! The owner provided excellent explanations about home usage and was easy to contact.

Gem of a find

Everything from booking to checkout was amazing. The house has everything you need for the stay. We are a family of three, and comfortably stayed in this amazing cottage. Amazing location, across the street from the lake, where you can find a dock for fishing as well as easy access to get the kayaks into the water. We did not have any issues, but any questions asked to the owner were answered right away. Amazing community with really friendly neighbors. Kayak was perfect for myself and my 6 year old son to go out together. And the sunnies were biting, so we had a happy child. Highly recommend this place.

Enjoyable and relaxing.

We had a really nice time kayaking and hanging out in tubes on Lake Harmony. There is beach access across the street from the house. Though the area is small it’s quite nice. The neighbors are wonderful as is Jimmy across the way. We made a fire in the fire pit a couple of times, spent a lot of time in the water as well as playing games. We would go back.

Great family mini vacation

Our family of 5 was very comfortable in this house. It had everything we needed and even more. It’s clean, cozy, has comfortable beds, and very conveniently located right across from the public access to the lake which allowed us to easily take the kayaks (provided by the owners) to the lake. We definitely recommend this place.

Charming Cottage

We had a great stay at the cottage! Super close lake access and close to local restaurants as well as hiking trails. The home was clean and well represented in the listing and communication with the owner was seamless. Would definitely recommend!

Lake Harmony Lake House

This was our first time renting a house. I’m not sure I’ll be able to go back to getting a hotel on vacation again! Renting a house was wonderful! So much more room. The house was super clean, so cozy, with easy access to the lake, hiking trails, and restaurants. We had a great time! Thank you Kevin and Amy for allowing us in your home :)

In Love with Lake Harmony

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time staying at this property in beautiful Lake Harmony. The cottage has everything a person could want and is very cozy and clean. Great location! We can’t wait to come back again :)

Great house

My family of 5 stayed in this house and it is charming and very clean. The view of the lake and it's easy access was perfect for my kids. The house is well equipped with all necessities and also a washer and dryer. One especially fun thing was the kayaks which we walked down to the water. We look forward to coming again. Brandon

Beautiful home and great location.

We recently stayed a few days at this home. The place was beautiful, excellent accommodations and very clean. The location is directly across from the lake, a short drive to restaurants, stores and local attractions. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to make it back during the warmer weather.

Charming

We, along with one other couple, stayed at this charming lake view cabin this fall. It is equipped with all the comforts of home that you would ever need. The owners were quick to respond and flexible with check-in time. It was a quick 25 minute drive to Jim Thorpe where we enjoyed the Fall Foliage festival. Lots of good eats in the area as well.

Almost perfect, but not the owners fault.

Our stay was absolutely delightful and the owner provides everything necessary for a memorable lakefront getaway, including kayaks and lake access in the amenities! The only thing preventing me from rating 5 of 5 stars is not really under the owner's control, but it is very important to consider: the house is located halfway up a curvy hill on the main thoroughfare. Most vehicles that passed through (including commercial vehicles that probably traverse the road often) came around the uphill curve at frightening speeds and I would assume exceeded the posted speed limit. Although some drivers slowed down and yielded to us while waiting to cross from the narrow shoulder, this may be a concern for families with younger children, and for any guests who want to jog or bicycle along the road encircling the lake. Despite what temporarily seems to be the community's responsibility for a traffic safety issue, the owner and property deserve 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Great house right across from the lake. Everything you could want is there for you.

House was perfect for our family. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could ask for. Location was great. We used the kayaks and fished off the dock. Neighbors were super friendly. Would highly recommend.

Great home

My family and I really enjoyed our stay in this cozy home. We enjoyed being inside as much as outside because the home is that inviting. The surrounding area is beautiful and with restaurants right down the street. The kayaks, rafts and tubes at the house were such a hit with my kids and having the lake access directly across the street was so convenient. Any questions or issues we had were answered quickly and professionally. Being on the lake was a great experience and I would highly recommend this home. :)

Cute as a button! Neat as a pin!

This was the perfect cottage for our family of four but could easily fit 6! Upon arriving we noticed how clean everything was. The decor is cute and modern, with little welcoming touches in every room. The updated kitchen was amazing with its modern appliances and stocked cabinets and pantry. Best of all, the lake access was almost as good as being on the water. It’s right across the street. We had a great time using the kayaks and rafts. Our two young sons fished off the dock. The owners are so helpful and responded to our questions right away. I couldn’t recommend this property more. It was perfect! We hope to return in the winter!

Beautiful Quaint Home

The photos of this home do not do it justice. It was a gorgeous place that made me never want to leave the area. The owners are delightful to work with and I hope to use their property for my get togethers in the future because it fit my needs perfectly. All of the furniture and amenities provided everything we needed and more. I had a great stay at this home.

Clean and cozy

We had a very pleasant 2-night stay here. This is the only 1 bath house I looked and ended up choosing it. Our family of 6 were comfortable. The house is not big in square footage but feel spacious. (The only room you might feel small is the 3rd bedroom). House rules are clearly instructed and everything is easy to use. The lake is only steps away crossing the street, we enjoyed kayaking and the water is warm enough for swimming. Kevin responded inquiries quickly.

Beautiful!

We had a great experience! The owner was very helpful and very prompt. It was a chilly weeekend when we went up but the fire place was so warm and relaxing to sit in front of! The kitchen is also stocked with any piece of equipment you could need. We had a wonderful time!

Pictures do not do this home justice. Absolutely gorgeous inside and out.

Beautiful home, all the amenities you could ask for. Updated kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances. Spacious floor plan. Tastefully decorated. The home really has something for everyone. If you're just looking to get away and relax or you're looking for activities, this place has it all. Right across the street from the lake, canoes are included. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. Just in a great location. I was up there for cigar Fest and I could not ask for a better place. I'm already looking at other dates to plan a vacation with my family up there. Kevin is informative and extremely accessible. Whenever I send him an email or a text message I did not have to wait long for a reply. Will be staying there again in the very near future.
