Cute apartment in walkable location

This is a very easy place to stay. 4 flights up, galley kitchen, full bathroom 2nd floor but in a great location. Owners were very easy to communicate with throughout our stay.

Fabulous apartment perfect for a city break in Porto. It is on the fourth floor with no elevator, but to be honest if that is a problem for you I would not recommend visiting Porto anyway. The apartment is clean, bright and airy, and has magnificent views from two of the bedrooms over the river. It has all the kitchen stuff you will need although to be honest we ate out most of the time. The location is great and most of the main Porto sites are within a short walk.

Exceptional stay

From the clean and comfortable room, beautiful view and luxurious touches, to Luisa’s recommendations and availability, we highly recommend this stay. It was perfect for our family of 4 with plenty of space and is obviously well managed by Luisa and her sister. It made our trip very wonderful!

Great stay with family

Our family really enjoyed our stay on the 4 th floor. We had lots of space for 2 adults and 2 kids and found the location to be perfect walking distance to all interesting sites. Luisa was a great host and gave us very good recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants. The apartment was very bright and had comfortable beds which is always appreciated after long travel days.

Clean and spacious apartment

When we arrived the property manager helped us up to our apartment.Great location close to city center. Only problem however was the property manager did not come to fix broken toilet or toaster.

Thank you for your review! We could fix broken toilet or toaster if we knew it was not working properly. You also could refer we carried the heavy bags to the 4th floor alone and parking.

Amazing Stay in Porto

If we could give a higher rating than 5 we would. Everything about our experience here was amazing. The hosts were soooo incredible and helpful and we loved the apartment. Tucked away from the hustle of tourism but a short 3 minute walk to all of the action... an ideal location with incredible views as well

Beautiful apartment in a great location!

We had a wonderful stay here with our family of four (two young children). The apartment looked just like the pictures, was well equipped and clean and had so much space to relax. Luisa was the perfect host - so helpful and thoughtful. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go from the apartment during our stay in Porto - we would def come back!

Magnificent Location Worth the Steps.

Porto is a city of steep walking. We stayed on the top floor apartment. Once we got there it was worth all the effort. An extremely comfortable apartment with fantastic views of the city. Located close to many points of interest and excellent restaurants.

Great location and place to stay!

This place was great! Granted not having a lift and hauling your luggage was brutal, but once up there, the apartment was perfectly located, clean, and check in/out was a breeze! With this location, we were able to walk EVERYWHERE and Porto was a gem to visit! Parking proved to be a bit of a challenge as the closest two garages were closed, but that had nothing to do with the apartment itself! We would absolutely come back again!

Fantastic Experience!

We had a wonderful time in Porto and the apartment was perfectly situated for everything we wanted to experience. We walked across the river and visited some of the Port companies, there are several great restaurants and pastry shops around the building, and the views from the apartment were spectactular. Luisa went above and beyond in helping us get ready for our stay and made the whole experience fantastic. You can't go wrong choosing this as your place to stay in Porto!

Gem in the heart of old Porto

We loved this apartment in the heart of it all - perfect for exploring Porto. Great location - we were able to walk everywhere. Stunning views across the city and a beautiful spot to catch the sunset. The apartment has so much character and was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Only downsides - bathroom is up another level which was not convenient and it is a 4th floor walk up so you will get lots of exercise! Don’t miss The Door restaurant right around the corner - outstanding meal!

Perfect Place in Porto

This is a fabulous apartment in Porto - comforting, welcoming, convenient to the city, amazing views - a place that instantly feels like home. The tasteful furnishings, the high-quality materials, fast Wi-Fi, the wonderful views - all of these combine into an unforgettable pleasant experience. Thanks to all for such attention to detail, and, of course, muito obrigrado for the warm, personal welcome and recommendations for Porto's sights and restaurants. Beautiful Porto

This property is as described and was nicely furnished. Beds were comfortable. View out of 2 of the bedroom windows was beautiful. Listing warns that it is on the 4th story but we weren’t quite prepared for how hilly Porto was - sometimes that last flight seem endless when we came home! Great location at top of town - easy to tour from. Most sensible parking is at bottom of town however. We drove from Lisbon and had a day trip to Douro Valley.

Fantastic location, clean lovely apartment, super friendly and helpful people.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time and can't imagine a better choice for Porto. The location is ideal and the space was perfect for us (three adult friends). We chose this apartment for the view and the location but the place itself was really ideal. We made a few meals at home and ventured out to great nearby restaurants. All of Louisa's recommendations were perfect for us and she was super helpful with directions, orientation to the city, practical tips and a very special night she arranged with a local family for a home cooked celebration dinner. The apartment was spotless, the beds and bedding were high quality. Old world charm and modern comforts in the heart of Porto.

Very clean, comfortable and well-equipped apartment. Beautiful views of the river from 2 bedrooms. Nice neighborhood, close to many attractions and areas of interest. The location in the midst of the old town is what we wanted, but it is on a steep hill… like everything in Porto. The hostess Luisa was kind, helpful and available if needed. Initially, we were concerned that there was no air conditioning. However, the temperature inside the apartment was always pleasant even in mid-July when we were there. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

Top Floor View with a built-in stair workout!

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. Communication was fantastic, the rooms were comfortable and it was quiet neighborhood (well except for the seagulls 😏) When it says stairs and no elevator it is very accurate. It is the top unit, 4th floor, and what it doesn't say is that the one bathroom is up another set of stairs within the apartment. Also, keep in mind the city itself is very hilly. It's a great city, a great apartment and we would return.

Lovely stay in Porto!

My family and I stayed in Porto for just under a week. This lovely apartment was perfect for us, the location was very central, many bars and restaurants and great shopping at the doorstep. The views of the river from the front balcony were wonderful. What really made the stay so special for us was the host Luisa, she was very warm, knowledgeable and accommodating. When our train was canceled due to a strike the day we were meant to leave she was very understanding and helped us to find a solution to our problems. I would recommend this apartment to anyone. Luisa thank you so much! Next time we are in Porto this will be our first stop! Julia

Like visiting friends

This place was truly a home away from home. Luisa and Ligia manage the details and the experience to be welcoming. They are responsive to questions and helpful every step of the way. The place is very nice and homey. The bathroom is up a flight of stairs, which is a bit odd, but the upside is you get a lot of privacy! This apartment is on the 4th floor, with 79 steps, so you will earn those Pastels de natas. The location is perfect, just steps from a gorgeous overlook spot. The neighborhood is quiet. We would stay here again next time in Porto. Luisa will become a fast friend and go above and beyond to make your experience in Porto memorable.

Amazing apartment close to everything!

Ligia's top floor apartment was even better than we had hoped for! The view was breathtaking. The apartment itself is very spacious and we quite enjoyed having the bathroom upstairs away from the rest of the unit. It is walking distance to every destination but for those going further, there is a taxi stand in the square just north of the apartment. It was a perfect stay for us and would highly recommend it to anybody wanting an authentic experience in Porto. Be aware that this unit is on the 3rd floor (4th floor in American floor standards) but for us this wasn't a problem. Thanks Ligia! We will definitely be back!

Good Location and Pretty Views from Bedroom

Communication was overall good with the hosts. They were very gracious to get us into the unit early after traveling overnight from the US. They also arranged airport pickup with their driver Mr. Silva, who is so sweet. He also drove us for a day trip to Douro Valley. The views from the two bedrooms are very pretty. The living room is interior to the inner courtyard of the building. The beds overall weren't the best comfort wise, but the larger bedroom in the back of the unit was definitely the most comfortable. The bedroom closest to the entry door is interior and did not have great air flow except for a small window near the ceiling that could be slightly opened. We experienced quite a bit of cigarette smoke entering that bedroom from a neighboring unit. Overall, the unit is cute. I would recommend more toiletries like toilet paper be made available for a unit that sleeps up to 6 people. However, this seemed to be the trend for everywhere we stayed in Portugal so not specific to this unit. We did experience some issues with our stay, but stayed in communication with the hosts and were ultimately able to resolve, which we were very appreciative of.
