Comfortable barn in very rural location

We enjoyed our stay at Lower Lodge Barn very much. It is down a long farm track and not the easiest place to find, but if you follow the instructions or What3words rather than the post code you should get there. It has a well equipped kitchen with plenty of fridge space. A few more mugs would have been helpful. The bathrooms, like the rest of the barn, are modern with good showers. The internet was not great. On one occasion when we tried to watch TV in the sitting room the programme just kept buffering. Will, one of the property managers was very helpful when we had no matches to light the fire and he returned later with more logs for us. Lower Lodge Barn was a very pleasant place to spend a few days with friends.

Amazing location and accommodation

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were great size and many areas for socialising with friends. Would massively recommend to anyone. The only down side for us was the cleanliness on arrival. A dog must of stayed there before us as there was thick fog hear all over the floors, rugs, beds and sofa. We hoovered the place on arrival due to having 2 children under the age of 2 crawling on the floors. This is just a heads up so you can improve in the future

Beautiful Stay with Friends

Just got back today after a 3 night stay at Lower Lodge Barn, we had such a lovely time, the barn is very comfortable with great views in a peaceful location. Loved the outside space and hot tub was great. Beds and linen very comfortable, lots of wardrobe space. Would have loved to be able to walk to a town but it was a bit far for our group - maybe others would not find it an issue. Would have liked a few more kitchen towels and cleaning cloths but pretty much everything is there. Would happily stay again. Would suggest a music system to be added but we did use the TV to play music. Please note the road in is very bumpy and stony so if you have a city car like us go slow but no issue if you have a 4 x 4 etc....

Lovely stay in a beautiful location

We had a wonderful long weekend break at lower lodge barn. A stunning location and beautiful property. Great for day trips to Stratford upon Avon and Warwick. Friendly and very helpful hosts- thank you!

Excellence

A perfect place to unwind and relax, set in stunning countryside. The property is beautifully appointed and has all the facilities you need. The expansive view can be enjoyed from throughout the house and garden. It is a brilliant base to explore so many places from by car or on foot, then a haven to return to after a busy day. We’ll definitely make a return visit.

A stunning place to stay

The house was everything we needed and was perfect for a family get away for my wife’s birthday. The hot tub was the place to relax and the views over the fields and the wildlife on your doorstep amazing. Highly recommended.

We had the best weekend celebrating our 30th birthdays - what an incredible location in the middle of the beautiful countryside. The hot tub was a highlight, along with the beautiful walks. We will be back in the future!

Great place to stay with friends

I hired this place for a weekend away for my friends birthday, we have a lovely chilled weekend with some partying in the evening, the hot tub was so warm and lovely. The rooms were spacious and the lounge and dining area was perfect for evenings of eating and playing games. We hope to return back next year, if you will have us!

Lovely house and hot tub!

We were two families who come together every February for our hot tub holiday and this did not disappoint! The sunken hot tub was new to us and actually helped keep the wind off you! It was well maintained and looked after throughout our week stay which is excellent. The house was big enough for all of us with a few little niggles which I’ve informed them about! Generally clean throughout and the beds comfy! You could walk to the local town but it is a little bit of a walk - we did it a couple of times and enjoyed it! The drive to the house is long and bumpy and hard to navigate first time in the dark but we managed it! Overall a great place to stay!

60th Celebrations!

A family weekend getaway to celebrate a 60th birthday! Plenty of room for us all, the views were breathtaking, the peace and quiet was stunning and the hot tub was relaxing! Our hosts were great, being there when we needed them and otherwise leaving us to our celebrations and chilling.

A brilliant house for a reunion of friends.

The layout of the house and outside area worked very well. Well equipped for our needs. Many walks near by, pretty villages to see and a round of golf.

beautiful purpose built spacious barn with open countryside views

lovely modern barn in rural location with lots of country walks and 2 decent pubs about a mile away. Bathrobes for the hot tub would have been good, and bathroom locks either absent or not working. Oven needed cleaning but everywhere else was fine. Overall, a lovely property and we enjoyed a very relaxing stay there. Owner responded quickly to the one query we had whilst there.

They confirmed that the oven was thoroughly cleaned prior to your arrival, and mentioned that if you had contacted them during your stay, they would have been more than happy to return to fix the bathroom locks and to give the oven another clean. 70th Birthday Celebrations

We stayed in the property to celebrate Dad's 70th birthday and could not have been more impressed. Online photos and descriptions were exactly what the property was like, a fantastic stay in a beautiful place with everything we needed to make the best of memories.

Lovely Holiday

We really enjoyed our stay at Lower Lodge Barn. Felt like we were deep in the countryside but yet good access to places to visit. Brilliant dog walks right outside the front door and very nice dog friendly pub in nearby village within walking distance. The upstairs veranda area was a lovely spot to sit in the evening and watch the sun go down with a glass of wine.

Amazing weekend

Amazing weekend, in an amazing home stay. The house is unreal, and could not have been better. The design of the house is perfect and it is a great, safe space for dogs and small children. There is no noise from the surround areas. Loved the hot tub!

Lovely New Year Break

Lovely comfortable property with beautiful views. Very well equipped and a helpful owner. We were 2 families that went for New Year and it was perfect for us. It is a bit further to the pubs than it says in the description - 1 in about 20 min walk and others about 40 mins walk away but this didn't spoil our holiday.

Wedding accommodation

We stayed at the barn for our sons wedding at Ragley Hall. The barn was excellent so spacious clean and comfortable I can’t wait to go back The hot tub is a lovely treat and it is so well stocked with everything you need! So much room, our little 2 year old grandson loved all the space

Booking was easy with very helpful staff from Bolthole and on site Good location allowing travel to interesting places Bedrooms and bathrooms very clean Even better if … Include a few products from the wonderful Hillers Farm shop on arrival Would be good publicity for them too Double check equipment coming out of dish washer to ensure all is perfectly clean Clean main windows after each booking. People clearly look out and push their faces to the windows leaving smeary marks !
