## Space
My elegant 2-bedroom apartment is the perfect base when visiting London and it’s conveniently located at just 3 minutes walking from Padding Tube and train stations. With great transport links, you’ll be right in the hub of the city but able to escape the hustle and bustle!
The living area is light and airy with a beautiful, modern design and lovely finishing touches. The polished wooden flooring adds elegance to the room. Relax on the sofa and armachair, hang out with your friends, make yourself at home! It’s a welcoming and inviting space where you can kick back. There is also a round dining table perfect for those who want to enjoy a meal together: it's right next to the characteristic bay window overlooking the neighbourhood, which also lits the entire room beautifully, by letting plenty of natural light coming in.
If cooking is your thing, you’re going to love spending time in the spacious kitchen. You can access it directly from the living room. All the appliances are modern and easy to use and there are plenty of cupboards to store your favourite food in. You’ll enjoy showing off your culinary skills here! There’s even a welcome pack stuffed full of coffee, tea (of course!), and proper English scones.
The master bedroom has a super comfortable king size bed and, with fresh luxury linens, what more do you need for a good night’s sleep? The room is very spacious and naturally lit. The romantic chandelier is a delicate and elegant detail you won't miss, together with a vintage, capacious closet for your belongings. There is also a full-length mirror to make yourself ready before heading off exploring.
The second bedroom is also very bright, thanks to the windows next to the comfy double bed. The bookshelves behind the bed frame are just waiting for your favourite books to crowd them up! The room is cosy but doesn't lack storage space, so you don't have to live out of your suitcase. Subtle colours and art wall add elegance to this room as well.
Freshen up in the lovely family bathroom. You get the best of both worlds: enjoy a soak in the large tub or wake up in the mornings with a quick shower. White fluffy towels and shampoo are provided!
My property will be professionally cleaned before your stay. High chairs and travel cots can be provided on request.
## Access
Guests can access the entire property. It is paramount that we are respectful towards our neighbours.
## Interaction
My friends at Hostmaker are looking after my home while I am away; they are a short-lets management service team who know London like the back of their hand! I trust them to look after you and give you a warm welcome! If you have any questions about your stay, please get in touch through the channel platform.
## Neighborhood
Paddington is a great, vibrant area located between two Royal Parks, Notting Hill and the West End.
It's only a few minutes’ walk from Paddington station to Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, Regent's Canal and the picturesque area of Little Venice with its colourful canal boats, swans, and Canadian Geese.
Restaurants and cafes thrive in Paddington.
Santorini Restaurant is a great independent Greek restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere and even better food. Definitely get the halloumi! Farmacy on Westbourne Grove is the place to go for terrific vegetarian or vegan food; this is a spot to not be missed - gourmet vegan-friendly food with scrumptious flavours!
For a lovely day out, take the canal towpath to Sheldon Square, a grassy amphitheatre surrounded by restaurants, outdoor free ping pong, and free big screen shows in the summer.
Hop on a canal boat from Little Venice to Camden, or test your balance and hire a paddle board!
For those who enjoy a longer waterside walk, it is possible to follow the Regent’s Canal to ZSL London Zoo.
## Transit
## Notes
Walking is the best way to see the neighbourhood! There is so much to see just in our surrounding area. When you want to get around London, plenty of buses will be taking you all over the city.
Paddington Station is the closest tube station to the flat, connecting you to Bakerloo, District, Circle and Hammersmith & City lines - it's just a 3-minute walk! You'll also be connected to National Rail services, which bring you to close cities for a 1-day trip outside London (tip: Bath is lovely)
The apartment is so centrally located that arriving from all London airports is a breeze. The Heathrow Express will get you into Paddington Station and the Gatwick Express will bring you into Victoria.
NB: The chain lock for the front door to the building should never be used as neighbours will not be able to enter if this is done.
