Ideally located on the edge of Dartmoor National Park and adjacent to the scenic Wray Valley Trail, the lodge is a haven for walkers and cyclists alike. Beyond the moor, you’ll find the stunning South Devon coast, the vibrant city of Exeter, and Devon’s winding country lanes—all waiting to be explored.

As a fully equipped self-catering cottage, you’ll find everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen includes a fridge, freezer, oven, hob, kettle, toaster, and microwave.

The cosy living space is perfect for unwinding, with FreeSat TV (including Netflix), a Bluetooth speaker, and a selection of books. For those who wish to stay connected, high-speed internet via SpaceX is also provided—though you may prefer to simply switch off and enjoy the peace.

Step outside onto the south-facing covered veranda, where you can relax with seating and enjoy glimpses through the trees towards Dartmoor. The glade also features a dedicated outdoor dining area with table, chairs, BBQ, and fire pit—perfect for al fresco evenings.

There is secure storage for bikes, along with a wash-down area and exterior lighting for added convenience.

One of the lodge’s standout features is the private outdoor hot tub, available year-round and perfectly positioned to enjoy views across the adjacent field. For an extra touch of indulgence, guests can also enjoy the al fresco shower, complete with an opening porthole for views towards Dartmoor.

New for 2026, a private wood-fired sauna hut is available exclusively for guests (additional fee applies, starts at £30 for unlimited use for a two night stay)

All heating, hot water, and spa facilities are powered by an eco-friendly heat pump system, ensuring comfort with sustainability in mind.
