Pollokshields was Glasgow’s first garden suburb and still retains that old Victorian charm relating back to its history when it served the rich Victorian merchants who established the City of Glasgow. It is sometimes hard to believe, as you stroll along the tree lined avenues with their grand architecture, that you are only 5 mins from the bustling City Centre and just 2/3 mins to the M8/M77/M74 Motorways which means that it is easy head off in any direction.
