The 1 Bedroom Apartment consist of a master bedroom with on suite bathroom / Air Conditioning / Wifi / Cable / TV / Ceiling Fans / Fully fitted Kitchen - Fridge, Cooker, Washing Machine, Microwave / Sitting and Dining Area / Car Parking / Access to swimming pool

Plover Court Apartments are newly built Studio,1 and 2 bedrooms holiday apartments. It is located in the south-east part of the Island, approximately 10 minutes (7 km) from the airport in a quiet residential area in Inch Marlowe, Christ Church. Several beaches are within close proximity (including Long Beach, Surfers Point and Silver Sands.

The apartment is wired for both North American (i.e. 120 volts) and European (i.e.240 volts) electrical appliances.

Wireless broadband is included at no extra charge.

The lounge and bedroom are both air-conditioned and the bedroom contains a double bed, en-suite bathroom, built-in wardrobes and drawers.

There is a 3-piece suite, TV, DVD player and coffee table, The dining area has table and chairs to seat 4 persons.

The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine. There is also a covered patio area at the front of the apartment and a small swimming pool at rear of the property.

This 1-bedroom apartment is equipped for self-catering. Situated in Inch Marlowe, in the parish of Christ Church, it is only a short drive from several popular South Coast beaches and is approximately 4.5 kilometres (5 minutes drive) from Oistins a commercial and recreation hub in this southern side of the Island.

The apartment is close to public transport. The coast of Silver Sands is ideal for windsurfing and the area is recognised as world-class spot for this sport. Long beach offers a large expanse of beach, approximately one-mile long, where lively waves wash onto white coral sand shores.

If you are a keen golfer you are able to visit thye 18-hole championship course at the private Country Club of Royal Westmoreland. Barbados Golf Club and Sandly Lane golf Club. Cycling and mountain biking are also very popular amongst locals this Caribbean Island.

Reggae, Soca, Steel Pan and Calypso music are part of the Island's culture and this can be experienced while staying in Barbados. Fresh fish is available at the local fish markets such as snapper, dolphin (not flipper), king fish, tuna or flying fish are amongst the delicacies which can be enjoyed on this wonderful island.

Cheryl et Roland Butcher sont des propriétaire très attachants, sympathiques toujours à notre écoute, ils nous ont bien renseignés sur les sites à visiter, Roland nous a fait faire une excursion autour de Oistins. Pour noël nous étions leurs invités dans la famille, et le jour de notre départ, nul besoin de commander un taxi...Bref nous sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour d'autant plus que l'hébergement était excellent, propre, bien équipé, calme. Nous avons l'habitude de voyager, mais jamais nous avons eu un tel accueil. BRAVO!!

Plover Court Apartments consists of three apartments and is situated next to Long Beach and Surfers Point surf club. It is on the south coast of Barbados in the parish of Christ Church. We make sure our guest have a wonderful time and are treated like part of the family. As a result we get a lot of repeat visitors.

Perfect

Accurate description

We left this quiet little home this morning after a two-week stay. Cheryl and Roland are very nice people and the home was nice and tidy. We enjoyed the five minute walk to a very quiet beach almost daily and thoroughly enjoyed a dip in the small pool outback almost daily as well. This is a nice quiet location with a five minute walk to the bus stop that will take you almost any where in Barbados for two dollars. The buses are a hoot and on one occasion we crammed 24 people into a minivan. A 10 minute ride could get you to Oistens fish fry or grocery stores, banks, restaurants, etc. Oistens Fish market and twenty plus seafood restaraunts are open every day but Friday is the big night complete with loud music and some light entertainment. Pretty well a must-see in Barbados.

Apartment was excellent. Fully equipped, everything you need. In a great location, close to Oistins (a short bus ride away) & quiet enough to get a good night sleep. Cheryll & Roland were excellent hosts (nothing was too much trouble) and we would definitely stay there again.

Fajny dom, w dobrej cenie.

Cena jak najbardziej odpowiada jakości. Blisko ładnej plaży ( 5 min spacerem). Sklep oddalony ok 200 m od domu, w którym można zaopatrzyć się w podstawowe artykuły spożywcze. Szczególnie polecamy rum! Jest wyśmienity. Oczywiście właściciel pomocny w każdej chwili.

Fantastic holiday home

This apartment was perfectly located in a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle but easy to get to if required, the bus stop was a 5 minute walk. It felt like home away from home! Pool was beautiful, great to cool down in and socialise next to. There was a beach 5 minute walk away that had the most beautiful sunrise! The hosts were very accomodating, always up to have a chat and very friendly. I would happily suggest this apartment to friends and family.

Very clean and tidy accomodation.

Nice, clean, modern, quiet. It seemed a little remote at first, but once I got to know my way around, it was only a 10 minute drive from St. Lawrence gap and maybe 25 mins to Bridgetown. Lots of good beaches, bars and restaurants in easy reach.

Very good experience

We have found the apartments (one and two-bedrooms) extremely clean and fully equipped. Located in a very quiet zone they are close to the best big beaches. Mr.Roland and his wife were extremely kind and helpful, they gave us any assistance we have needed. We thank them again. Just as little suggestion, the mattress on the additional bed in the one-bedroom apt should be changed. Wonderful experience! Riccardo and family (Milano, Italy)

At Plover Court Apartments, we believe that the experience by our guest must be one that they remember long after returning home. Having lived 37 years in the UK and travelled the globe extensively. I believe we are well placed to know what our guest like and expect from an overseas vacation. My wife and I will continue to treat all our guest as special. The very best accommodation I could of hoped for

I was a bit apprehensive due to the fact I was travelling alone with my young son,but I shouldn't of been. Cheryl and Roland and family were very welcoming from the onset providing me with lots of information and advice. I arrived late during the night due to a slight delay with the aircraft, however cheryl took us on a local tour and for something to eat (which was much needed after the long flight). We stayed for 10 nights in the two bedroom apartment which has everything you need from cooking equipment, to supplies to get you started in the fridge and a telephone, TV, DVD player and more. It truly was a home from home and we felt very comfortable. The apartment is situated near all local amenities ( less than 5 minute walk to the nearest beach) and is in a quiet and relaxed setting. Barbados itself is amazing and a place where everyone is friendly. my son loved the pool and all the inflatables that he was able to use - it was also great for cooling off. The whole experience proved to be one of the best I and my son has ever had and its thanks to cheryl and family that me and my son had such an enjoyable time.I felt very lucky to have found this apartment. I would definitely return and hope to do so soon to gain more great memories. I couldn't fault anything, well apart from having to go home at the end of the holiday but that couldn't be helped. Just want to say a big THANK YOU.

Highly Recommend this rental

From start to finish the whole stay really exceeded our expectations. Our hosts Roland & Cheryl provided us with very comfortable & immaculate accomdations. The apartment is air conditioned, with afully equiped kitchen, bathroom has excellent water pressure, plenty of storage space everything you could need. We spent our days enjoying the the warm Sea and Sun. For the kite surfer - seeking perfect wind conditions and accomdations Plover Court is the place to stay. 5 min walk to Long Beach great place to kite board, or long walks on the beach, or enjoy the Sun. Zed's place 8min walk, DeAction close by. Great rental for families. This is a wonderful place to stay... Kyle Robbins

My wonderful stay at Plover Court

Myself and my partner spent 1 week at Plover Court in February we had a fabulous stay and welcome from Mr and Mrs Butcher. The apartment is spacious and very well air conditioned and is as beautiful as the picture describes, the property was well presented clean tidy and absolutely well maintained. I will and have recommened this apartment to friend and family. I will add that this was our first time travelling to Barbados and we couldn't have been more pleased. There is a very reliable bus service which takes about 10 minutes walk to. We did this a few times but decided to rent a car for the remained of time as we wanted to enjoy the night life. Most of which took place in near by Oistins, where there is also a massive fish market which is in full force on a Friday. Bridgetown the capital of Barbados is not more than a 20 minute drive or the local bus service which can be very entertaining drops you off right there. Great restuarants and the best mannered people you will ever meet. All smiles!

Home from home but with sunshine!!!

We have just returned from our first family holiday with our one year old son in Barbados. We stayed a fortnight in Plover Court and loved the spacious, clean and well equipped apartment. Cheryl and Roland the owners were helpful and friendly and made our holiday stressfree arranging transportation to and from the airport. The apartment is perfectly based to explore Barbados and an easy bus ride to Oistins for the fishmarket and groceries. We were surfing and windsurfing and again the beaches were so close a short walk away. The plunge pool at the back of the apartments is great to cool off in. Everything has been thought of thank you Roland and Cheryl we had a great holiday and cant wait to come back !!!

Bliss in Inch Marlowe

My partner and I had a splendid 3-weeks Bajan holiday being based in the well equiped and relaxing 1 bed roomed apartment having access to the plunge pool when we wanted. It was wonderfully peaceful location enabling us to relax and unwind as well as being our launch pad for various island based activities. This was our 3rd visit to the island having previously 'hoteled' in Hastings, self catering, and Holetown, all-inclusive. Long Beach was only minutes away for morning walks or a relaxing dip in the area fronting the surf club or we made the pleasant and relaxing walk up the road to Sea View and took the Number 11 van stopping off at either Miami and Enterprise beaches (Oistin's) or continued to the equally well known and popular Rockley beach. We made best use of the local amenities for shopping and enjoyment, be it days and/or evenings at Oistin's, utilizing the local supermarkets and shops or letting the van take us all the way to Bridgetown for a day out or 2. From Oistin's one can get public transport to most areas with us chosing to return to Holetown for a day to revisit a previous holiday location and catch up with friends and familiar places. Although we chose to use local transport and benefited from having several friends in Barbados to enable us to savor what the island has to offer from the cricket heritage to round the island trips and sight seeing, eating (lots of fresh food) - don't forget to visit a Cheffette, and drinking, be it Bank's beer, the local rum or what you bought in the Duty Free, the cinemas, including a 'drive in' and the malls etc hiring a car might enable the Inch Marlowe based visitor to retain the pace of the world from which they came if they did not have the time that we had, three weeks. Staying in Inch Marlowe gives you a different Barbados experience, being with among the local populace rather than in the manufactured tourist areas that are nearby for you to dip in and out of at your leisure. Would we go back - yes.

I am extremely happy to learn that David and Betty Goodall had a most enjoyable stay at Plover Court Apartments in the beautiful area of Inch Marlowe. In the Parish of Christ Church on the South Coast of Barbados.It also appears as if they took the opportunity to explore many other parts and places in Barbados. As guest they were first class and built up a good relationship with our entire family.We very much enjoyed they company and would welcome both of them back with open arms.Please consider Barbados and Plover Court Apartments as your second home.
