Nice, clean, self contained studio flat on the Melcombe Regis side of town. Quiet neighbourhood with plenty of parking space and a ten minute walk from the sea front. Really sweet host.
We had 3 nights in this lovely garden flat. Itâs a special place and Susan the owner has poured a lot of love into the heart of it. We wanted for nothing and every day we felt like we noticed a new treasure! The garden is a perfect little haven also , quiet and very private . We loved everything about it
We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this quirky holiday let. Everything you needed was there from washing up bits and pieces to toilet roll !! A lovely welcome with croissants and fresh orange and milk in the fridge . Although the accommodation was part of a house we enjoyed the privacy shown by the host. A 10 minute walk to the seafront which wax great. Thank you to Susan for a lovely stay .
No oven or freezer making it difficult to self cater . Multi purpose microwave not satisfactory . Moths
Found VRBO a challenging website to book through wonât be using them again
Beautifully decorated and styled flat with all the amenities you could need.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here and we loved the place. It has so much personality and was just perfect for us. The location was great walking distance from everything and the host was lovely. Will be definitely be returning in the future x
We stayed at the lovely flat for 4 nights. It was a peaceful location with everything provided for a much needed break away. The sea front and Harbour are within walking distance, where we spent the afternoon/ evenings. Would definitely like to return to this quirky flat when we visit friends in Weymouth again
Thank you.

Hello i'm Susan In 1983 when I bought this house then named La Casita, it was very run down, a blank canvas. The owner before me used to live in Spain and bought three properties for his three daughters, two were twins and each house had a Spanish name. I have been tweaking it ever since. I love anything with an air of faded glamour, romantic. I raised my three daughters here and strangely enough I also had twin daughters. I have two grandchildren. Since the 1980s I have owned two vintage clothes shops. Bustles and The Vintage Room. I was born in London, lived in Brighton and Canada. The Pretty Victorian Garden Flat came alive in May 2020 with the addition of the kitchenette and bedroom. I do hope you enjoy your stay here.
The house was originally built around the late1800s. I fell in love with it on a cold rainy, Sunday afternoon in February 1983. Stone sinks in the kitchen and rotting floor boards. A blank canvas as they say. To me full of character. A lot has changed since then. I have lived in this property for 37 years and brought up my three daughters here. People say it has a warm friendly feel when they come.
Apart from the fact it is aesthetically pleasing on the eye, it's unique benefits are it is self-contained with it's own entrance. Note the ceiling, made of tin and brought from the Nothe Fort (the Nothe Fort in Weymouth is open to visitors) during the second world war where apparently military meetings were held. The double doors separating the bedroom from the living room were sitting inside the cavity wall when the partition wall was taken down. Alfresco dining with own secluded spot. Close to a cluster of shops at the top of the road. Close to sea, town and railway station.
