othe fridge stocked with a few essentials: milk, bread and butter
othe makings of a simple English breakfast, such as bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms â and of course our own hensâ new laid eggs
oa cupboard with individual cereals, condiments, a small selection of herbs, spices and sauces, marmalade and locally-made jam
So no need to shop on the way! Plenty of time for that when you start to explore pretty towns and villages nearby. Meanwhile relax and unwind!
About the area
Tintinhull is a popular and beautiful ham stone Somerset village with the benefits of a lovely coffee shop, its own National Trust property as well as several others within a few miles and, at The Hub as you turn off the A303, the recent addition of Somer Thyme restaurant. In summer the village benefits from an open-air pool.
Easy to find, Tintinhull is just off the A303, the route to Devon and Cornwall. Here, you and your family and friends can find peace and tranquillity, while being a short distance from some of Dorset and Somersetâs pretty market towns.
A little further afield lie the attractions of Bath and Bristol, mysterious Stonehenge, the West Somerset Steam Railway, Exmoor National Park, and coastline to the north and south. The area also benefits from good train and coach links to London.
