Our stay at at The Chiltern Lodges was extremely peaceful and welcoming.

The lodges are beautifully tucked away in nature, creating a peaceful atmosphere perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The welcome guide was excellent, covering everything from the accommodation and amenities to local food spots and activities with personal recommendations from the hosts. The clear instructions made everything easy, and the AC was a huge bonus during the hot weather. We felt really well looked after and would highly recommend this stay.

Relaxed and enjoyable

Incredible, luxurious and relaxing break!

Amazing and luxurious stay! Gary (the host) was fantastic and extremely welcoming and we had a lovely break. The en-suite sauna and hot tub is incredible! One of the most relaxing places we have ever stayed in and we will definitely be returning! Beautiful location surrounded by lovely and peaceful countryside!

Fabulous 4 days whilst between houses!

Lodge was spotless and had everything we needed for the 4 night stay. Hot tub was a godsend when grandkids came over. Gary was as welcoming as ever, and was very patient whilst all our dates kept changing.

Peaceful holiday

My partner and I were looking for a relaxing holiday. The lodges were excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Gary pointed us towards a few walks which we could do as well as getting us to feed the horses and chickens.

Delightful, peaceful and refreshing!

Superb fully equipped lodge in great condition and presented to a very high standard. The facilities were exactly what we were looking for, for a relaxing weekend. Enjoying time in the Sauna and Hot Tub rejuvenated us. A great location with our lodge benefiting from a view across the lake whilst at the same time a high degree of privacy.

Absolutely fantastic staycation

My hubbie and I had a long weekend stay. The helpful, friendly owner goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best time from taking the time to have a chat and provide some great suggestions of walks and local attractions to providing fresh eggs upon request. The accommodation is well thought out and has just about everything needed for a fabulous stay. We made ample use of the jacuzzi, sauna and Netflix al of which were splendid.

This was our first visit to the Lodges, we will definitely book again

The Lodges are part of a very impessive holiday home, fishing and equestrian set up. The Lodges are described as 'luxury' and they definitely meet the description with features such as hot tub,sauna,Sky TV, heating and a/c in a safe and secure environment. The Lodge exceeded what I expected from the description on the website. Gary (the owner) showed a personal interest in ensuring everything was of the highest standard.

Luxurious countriside stay

The kingfisher lodge is a great little place on a farm. It has the most privacy out of all the lodges, so when you're enjoying the hot tub nobody will walk past. We didn't try the Sauna, but the hot tub is amazing! The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and the free Netflix access is great for relaxed evenings on the sofa. There's one pub with outstanding food in walking distance (about 15min), but you need to drive everywhere else.

Quiet Dog Walking Break

Brand new well equipped lodge, with full WiFi, Sky, Netflix facilities. Hot tub and Sauna a bonus. Owner most helpful and knowledgable about the local area - nothing a bother.
