Our favourite place to stay when we visit Rye.

You can always be assured of a warm welcome at the King’s Head, beautiful accommodation, fabulous food and staff that are so very kind. We also sometimes go to Fletchers House for coffee and a tempting treat! The scones are fabulous!

Lovely! Luxurious comfort, good food and friendly team.

I love the cottages there - they are spacious, beautifully designed and comfortable - what more could you want! The bar area, with its open fire, was a space I could have just stayed in for the week - and the team are friendly, efficient and welcoming. Truly a marvellous place to stay and visit and a jewel of East Sussex.

Relaxing and comfortable stay. With a group of friends who are always a great fun to be with.

Love the location and accommodation. Very comfortable room. Cleanliness is brilliant and lovely and warm, especially this time of year. Love the atmosphere of the pub, the food us amazing as are all the staff. They are very attentive, friendly and accommodating, can't do enough for you. Taylor, Amy, Amanda and Lucy are lovely professional friendly ladies and Steve the owner is a first class guy, feels like a true friend, who always joins our company and makes time for us,also a brilliant chef.

Great location,wonderful staff,comfortable rooms.

We stayed with our dog for 5 nights in July. We visited the local bird sanctuaries, Dymchurch and Rye. Nice and easy walk into Rye town.

Comfortable, dog friendly pub near Rye

A two day break to visit our daughter in Camber. This is our third visit to the Kings Head in Rye. We've always stayed in one of the cottage rooms which are good sized with very comfortable beds, and very convenient if you have a dog with you.

excellent stay in the cottages and friendly accommodating staff - chef is excellent as well (steve)

room was adequate and nicely designed, could use new silicone in bathroom and removal of marks on chairs/carpet. Pub was great, breakfast was fabulous as were staff. parking should be reserved for guests if they are staying.

The welcome we received was so lovely. All staff were so kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble! The food was amazing and the friendly atmosphere made our Christmas.
