Studio room stylishly furnished with a king size comfy bed, ensuite bathroom with bath/shower combination, lounge area, fully equipped kitchenette and private outdoor space. Sofa bed can be made up upon request. Pet friendly (small additional charge) and located on the ground floor.
Situated on the outskirts of Chedington village, our charming country pub is situated high in the chalk fields of West Dorset, and commands one of the finest views in the West Country. Surrounded by National Trust Land, the area is an unspoilt rural delight.

It’s the perfect place to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner with 6 modern and comfortable ensuite bedrooms which are set
back from the main pub building.

Conveniently located just off a main the road that links Crewkerne and Dorchester, the Inn is the ideal location for exploring the whole of the West Dorset area, from the picturesque coastal town of Lyme Regis to the famous Jurassic Coast line to Weymouth.

Very nice pub with rooms and great food

Great location with super views. We stayed 2 nights and ate in the restaurant on both evenings. Nice meals with a great ambiance in the restaurant and bar areas. The pub is run by two families and the service is excellent! Great selection of local and nit so local beers.

Very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the accommodation

I had a stunning little self contained apartment style room with a nice kitchenette with all the facilities you would expect in a much larger kitchen. The whole place was beautifully presented including the bathroom so I would definitely stay here again. Fantastic and faultless, as were the staff in their friendly demeanour and helpfulness.

Relaxing, comfortable stay in Studio Apartment on the ground floor

The Studio Apartment was lovely, clean and a cosy place to stay with my little dog. Having once stayed here around 30 years ago it was nice to come back. The pub had a lovely menu and the staff were very friendly and attentive.

Really Lovely Stay

We had a few nights here - Lovely Room, Great Amenities, Comfy Bed, Fantastic Location, Great Service in the Bar and Restaurant. Food was great - we had breakfast and dinner throughout our stay. Really lovely Ales - well kept. Thoroughly recommend for anything from a stay to a quick beer in the sun. We'll definitely be back.

Fantastic, relaxed, tremendous value and cosy. The perfect winter break.

The accommodation was perfect. The food, drink and hospitality as effortless as it was tasty, efficient and delicious. Nothing was too much trouble and we and our dogs felt genuinely welcomed, at ease and special. A lovely pub, which is also a great restaurant, that has rooms.. It has the best staff, which attracts really friendly customers and that happy combination makes visitors feel instantly at home.

Very happy with our stay at Winyards Gap.

Everyone at Winyards Gap was helpful ,friendly and attentive. Prior to arrival Lucy was very helpful accommodating my requests . On arrival Miranda was welcoming and very attentive, helping us into our room and giving us the information we needed for our stay. Even provided a container of milk to help us get settled in. During our stay, every member of staff we met made sure we were happy and had everything we needed. Comfortable room, great food and lovely staff

Would certainly return

Had a short stay here between Christmas and the New Year, was certainly a good choice. We had great communication from Lucy prior to our visit . On arrival we were struck by the amazing views. The accommodation was warm, clean, spacious, well equipped and set back from the pub. The pub itself was what you would expect from a traditional country pub, big fire, comfy armchairs and great atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, good choice of food and beers/ciders. What's not to like.
