Studio-Prestige-SDB privée avec douche-Vue sur Jardin-Apartment 2

This is a luxury one-bedroom studio apartment at Alum Chine Beach House. The apartment has an open-plan kitchen, bedroom and bathroom (26 sqm).

The kitchen is fully equipped including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. The bedroom has a double-sized bed.

This apartment has an open aspect with views across the garden

The ensuite bathroom has a walk-in rain-style shower. Fresh towels and linen are provided and for stays longer than 7 days the towels will be replaced.

Pets are allowed although you must notify us in advance and there is £20 additional fee, per pet

Alum Chine Beach House is a collection of 6 luxury apartments located moments from the Bournemouth Beach and its glorious 7 miles of Golden Sand. Each apartment is finished to a very high standard with high quality furnishings throughout, en-suite shower rooms with rain-head showers and kitchens including all the facilities to prepare anything for a light breakfast through to a full evening meal.

I called it the Alum Chine Beach House as it sums up how I feel about the place, it's super close to the beach, it has the feel of a big Victorian house and we try to make our guests feel relaxed and at home the moment they check in. Leticia is the Reservation Manager and will be your first point of contact throughout your stay. She has been at Alum Chine Beach House now for a while and knows the place inside out and is always more than happy to help with any questions or queries.

The properties are located in Westbourne, just to the west of Bournemouth, which is one of the most elegant and fashionable parts of Bournemouth with an urban village feel. It is definitely not your usual high-street; there is a vast selection of independent stores, cafes and restaurants and is truly a unique shopping experience. Of course the best attraction of the area is the gorgeous golden sands! Alum Chine beach is far quieter than the beaches closer to Bournemouth town centre although is equally as sandy and inviting

A lovely place

I am a frequent visitor and I always enjoy my stay. The room is clean, well furnished, and comfortable. Plus the location is only a 5 minute walk to the beach. And they are pet friendly.

I had a fantastic stylish room with a rainforest shower en-suite and really useful kitchen. The accommodation itself was fantastic and the small touches even better: A welcome book full of great local recommendations (2 of which i went to) and a cupboard full games and books to borrow

It was comfortable and enjoyable; we also enjoyed the art work and general standard of decoration.

The location was excellent: quiet street, easy walk to the beach, within easy walking distance of both Bournemouth and Westbourne. The buses were also convenient so we were able to visit other towns easily. It was good to know that Michael was around if we needed any assistance. Although we could have parked at Alum Chine Beach House, we found a parking space in the street so stayed there all week with no problems.

Great stay in Alum Chine

The room was great, had everything we needed and the bed was super comfortable. Sharka was so accommodating, letting us check in early and leave our bags in the office after we checked out which we really appreciated. Location is great for those that want to chill at the beach, literally a 5 mins walk. My only negative would be if the weather isnt great there isn't a huge amount to do outside of the beach, which can be a risk in the UK. But, overall lovely place to stay.

It was excellent.

The studio was spotless and the owner Michael was exceptionally helpful and pleasant. The shower was superb and even though the weather was hot the room stayed at a comfortable temperature. I am sorry I forgot to write in the visitors book but I left in a bit of a rush. I will certainly stay again!!

Well appointed self catering accommodation in the quiet neghbourhood of Westbourne

A very pleasant stay at Alum Chine Beach House, a tastefully restored Victorian Villa in the quiet suburb of Westbourne. Our ground floor appointment, overlooking the garden, was well appointed and spacious. The location was excellent: walking distance from the beach, a twenty minute or so walk into Bournemouth, a short drive into Westbourne, where there is a thriving high street. Manager does not live on site, but responded to messages promptly and provided local recommendations when requested.

We enjoyed our stay. Also, to make it more enjoyable would be that the plug worked in the bathroom. Reported to management next morning after arriving. The list of rules and information was on the wall which I could not read( could sent with other information I received ) shower room small. Look for a picture of it before we booked but could not find one. Hope this all helps.

Where I’ve rated 1 is because this question does not apply. Perfect location a few minutes from the beach. Complimentary drinks in fridge on arrival was nice touch. Easy to gain access to apartment via key safe, no need to have face to face contact. Everything you could need for a self-catering stay except could have done with a tea towel to dry dishes although there is a drainer so I suppose that’s why.

I live in the building in the garden apartment so am often on hand to offer a warm welcome to out-of-town guests or offer advice on the best restaurants and fun things to do in the area if you should need some guidance. We are keen to respect your security and privacy and each apartment is self-contained with its door entry system. We also have CCTV throughout the building and surrounding the property, just to give you peace of mind, Alum Chine is a very safe area.
