Situated on the highest of the seven hills, this wonderful duplex is located in the rich and diverse neighborhood of Graça. The apartment is located on the 1st floor of a building (with no elevator) in a typical Portuguese building placed on the highest hills. It has plenty of natural light and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. This beautiful apartment is a tribute to the neighborhood, where Lisbon maintains its essence and harmony between locals and visitors.
Great to stay in a less touristy area that has a real buzz to it.
Lovely communication throughout and great advice about where to find things to do and eat.
Wonderful little place within short walking distance to Graca and easy walk to downtown centre. Very quiet, easy check-in. Host was informative. Recommend
The missing star is due to location because it can be challenging to get to (walking) with your luggage, and go back at the end of every day. It is about 1.5 km from the touristic core, in the middle of steep hills.
We booked a 5 night break at the apartment, it is clean and tidy and in a quiet area. The hosts did mention it was on one of the highest hills in Lisbon. So not to be too negative, Iâll be honest I would not recommend the apartment to anyone of an older generation, unless they are fit, due to the walk up various hills to reach, and once there the stair climb, to the apartment then up again to the bedroom it can be tiring. The only true negative I would suggest to the host, is to leave a little welcome pack, of tea/coffee etc which is fairly common in a lot of these lets, as it helps late arrivals and also have some hangers to hang your clothes on
Really nice place. Open plan with a nice loft bedroom that all looked and felt new and clean.
Kitchen had all the basics, but was lacking a microwave, which is a bit unusual for a place of this calibre.
Location was not really in the heart of things, but a 12 minute walk to a subway station connected you nicely to everything.
Bed wasn't the most comfortable for our tastes, a bit hard.
One day we foolishly locked ourselves out of the place. We were en route for a day trip, so not a huge issue, but we were charged 100 Euro for the company to come and reopen the place. Not thrilled about that, but otherwise had a great stay in a very nice place
