Earls Court

This property was clean and had a lovely patio overlooking the private courtyard. The neighborhood was great and it was easy access to The Underground. I wish the dryer had actually been able to dry our clothes, but you win some and you lose some. I would definitely stay at this location again.

Good for families with school age/young adult children

A convenient, comfortable place to stay whilst in London. About 5mins from the tube station entrance. On the first floor and no lift, so if you have heavy luggage or difficulty with stairs, take note. The shower in the main bathroom is incorporated with the bathtub and has very little water pressure.

Somewhat disappointed

Very nice place and great location. That being said, we were missing items. We had to purchase soap and toilet paper and we were promised reimbursement but I don't think that should have been our responsibility. Also, the washer/dryer never dried our clothes so we had to go out to a laundry. Lastly the shower in the second bathroom barely had any water pressure.

This flat was just perfect for our 2 week stay. It's in a great neighborhood and easy to get to and from. The tube station is a block away. There is a very nice grocery store about 2 blocks away. The only negative was that there was only one set of key's which made going in different directions a hassle. Alison and Penny

Amazing garden view in a great flat close to the tube

Flat is very clean in a great residential neighborhood near central London. Very convenient to the Earl's Court tube station and a grocery store. The balcony and garden view are amazing. This flat is just off a busy street and there is some street noise you get in the front bedroom at night. Water pressure from the shower is not great in one of the bathrooms. Flat does not have air conditioning and it was hot during our stay - need to add a fan for the hot summer months to make it more comfortable. Wifi went down easily, but we were emailed instructions on how to reboot that got it working again. Had some issues at early check in with the keys to the unit not available.

It was the perfect apartment they had everything we needed.

There were a few hiccups but the owner did everything he could to accommodate us. The Flat was perfect I enjoyed being able to cook a healthy breakfast. There were plenty of pots pans and utensils. The washer/dryer combo was a great necessity also. The wifi had a strong signal. The beds were very comfortable.

Heerlijke woning, maar er moeten wel een paar dingetjes hersteld worden.

De eigenaren hebben het beheer aan Hostmaker overgedragen. Dat bedrijf is weliswaar 24 uur per dag beschikbaar, maar is anoniem. Bij correspondentie staat er geen naam onder. Verschillende mensen buigen zich over het probleem dat je meldt, afhankelijk van wie er dienst heeft. Ons probleem was dat bij aankomst de werkster bezig was met een stofzuiger, die het kennelijk niet goed deed. Nadat wij maar ergens een kopje koffie zijn gaan drinken, bleken bij terugkomst de werkster en de vertegenwoordiger van Hostmaker die ons had ontvangen het appartement achter gelaten te hebben met een vloerkleed dat nog steeds niet bijzonder schoon was (de vorige huurders hadden blijkbaar nogal huisgehouden) en de zitbank was helemaal niet gedaan. Helaas konden wij ook zelf niet de stofzuiger hanteren, want die was in een afgesloten gangkast opgeborgen. Wij hebben niettemin een heerlijke week gehad in dit mooie appartement dat van alle gemakken is voorzien. Wij kwamen er 's avonds graag thuis. We sliepen in uitstekende bedden en de douche doet het goed na een eerste hapering. Het appartement is mooi gelegen, en het heeft vanaf het fraaie balkon een prachtig uitzicht over de achtertuin. Alleen jammer dat je daar niet in kan, er lag geen sleutel van het hek in de woning. Een ander probleem deed zich de laatste dag voor: de centrale verwarming deed het niet meer. Het was bitter koud. De assistenten van Hostmaker die ons die ochtend te woord hebben gestaan, konden het op afstand allicht niet verhelpen. Gelukkig was onze vlucht die dag in tegenstelling tot vele andere vluchten niet gecancelled. Graag komen wij hier nog eens terug, maar dan hebben we hopelijk minder last van huiselijke problemen. Hostmaker, althans een van hun anonieme medewerkers, heeft geschreven dat wij als genoegdoening de schoonmaakkosten terugkrijgen. Hopelijk wordt dit door een collega opgepikt. Nu tien dagen later is er nog niets op mijn rekening bijgeschreven.

Incredible flat so close to everything!

We cannot say enough positive things about this flat! Clean, plenty of space for our family of four, close to everything, and the folks at host maker were so accommodating. Wonderful place for a family to enjoy London! Tip: if water pressure in shower is weak, turn bathroom sink faucet on and off and the pressure goes back to normal.

Comfortable apartment with a nice balcony

Although the apartment is not as pristine and spacious as the pictures make it look, it was definitely comfortable. The master bedroom was very spacious, comfy and had a great breeze from the windows to keep things cool in August. Previous reviewers noted, and I would greatly agree, that the shower curtain in the main bathroom MUST be replaced...such a cheap thing to easily remedy... We used the washer/dryer which worked great and previous renters graciously left laundry soap. I believe several key needs were all handled by previous renters...soy sauce for our takeout, dryer sheets, etc. so that was nice, but imagine the owner could easily keep those stocked too. It was close enough to the tube, where there were a million dining options so that was great. We were greated promptly by the hostmaker contact and given a good review of the place and how things worked (a notebook of this info...very normal in vacation rentals...would have been great though since it was a lot to learn briefly); however she did tell us that she would likely be very hard to reach if we needed anything. Luckily we didn't. Nice place, I would recommend it.

Wonderful

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. There was plenty of space for us and our 2 children. It was lovely to have somewhere to come back to after our sightseeing where we could spread out and relax. We had wonderful weather during our stay so the back terrace was used every day - lovely to have an outlook over gardens and a tennis court - didn't feel like busy London at all! Also only a short walk to lots of lovely places for dinner. Definitely recommend.

Great location and well equipped. Loved the park outside. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved the location with the balcony overlooking the park. The unit was well equipped and the hosts went out of their way to ensure that we were met upon arrival even though we were quite delayed. The tube was close and for a large city the noise wasn't too bad. We would definitely stay here again. *Please replace the shower curtain, that was my only issue.

Earls Court with a green outlook

This spacious and bright 2 bedroom apartment was conveniently situated in a quiet neighbourhood. It is about a 500m walk to Earls Court tube & close to a large Tesco which made for convenient food shopping. The bedrooms are a comfortable size & there is a large bathroom as well as an ensuite from the 1st bedroom. All required kitchen items are provided & there is a small washer/dryer. We enjoyed returning from a long day of sight seeing & sitting out on the terrace overlooking the leafy private gardens. Being summer we would have our meals at the outside table. A very enjoyable stay.

Very comfortable, well located

The apartment is as advertised. It is very comfortable, good beds, bedding and towels, well equipped kitchen, nice closet space, lovely balcony looking over a garden., very light. Two blocks from TESCO, a supermarket with everything and close to the Tube station (4 minutes if you walk VERY fast). It could use one more armchair in the living room and written instructions on the washing machine and dishwasher for those of us who fear strange machines, but that's all I could offer in the way of criticism.

Beautiful apartment that had everything we needed!

We had a very comfortable stay. It would have been nice to have a phone number to call if something was needed. I didn't think I would call the person who showed us into the apartment and otherwise only had an email.
