The Space:
Brand new one-bedroom apartment with kitchen, bed room, living room and a private bathroom with shower cabin. The bed in the bedroom is 160 cm wide making space for a total of 2 people. Within the apartment you’ll find two-layered curtains, dining area, good lighting and all the amenities found in the profile such as hair dryer, fully equipped kitchen, coffee machine, iron etc. We have washers and dryers within the basement of the building as well as complimentary luggage storage.

We have several identical apartments, there are minor deviations in lay out but room sizes, amenities, quality level etc. is exactly the same. The apartments are located on the 3rd floor and accessed by stairs.

Guest Access:
You will have full access to the entire space, a private apartment including kitchen and bath room:
→ All doors are equipped with smart locks, you’ll receive a unique code that works for all the doors you will need to enter for exactly your dates of stay. 100% secure, 100% hassle-free. No waiting in line to check-in, simply access your unit at your convenience.
→ You can check in at exactly the time you want after 3 PM. If you should arrive before our 3 PM check-in time, we promise to do our best to make sure your unit is available as fast as possible.
→ Within our basement you’ll be able to access secure and complimentary luggage lockers to store your luggage before and after your stay with us so that you can utilize the city on arrival and departure days.
→ It’s possible to purchase a late check-out extending the check-out time to noon for a small extra fee.
→You’ll have access to the quiet courtyard all the apartments are situated in.

The Neighborhood:
Apēron Apartment Hotel is situated within a quiet courtyard on a historical charming cobblestone street called “Pustervig” in the historical center of Copenhagen. The street leads directly onto Copenhagen’s main shopping street, “Strøget”. To make things even better, we’re located 150 metres from the largest transportation hub in Denmark, Nørreport station and 50 metres from the “Round Tower”, one of the most famous landmarks in Copenhagen. You will be right next to any kind of public transportation, bicycle rental options, cafés, restaurants, bars, clubs, theaters and museums. In other words, you will not find a better location for your stay. To put things in perspective the distance to various sights are as follows:
→ Nørreport (Denmark's biggest transportation hub): 150 metres
→ Nyhavn: 700 metres
→ The Round Tower: 50 metres
→ Tivoli Gardens: 1000 metres
→ Amalienborg: 1300 metres
→ Strøget: 50 metres
→ Rosenborg Castle: 600 metres
→ King’s Garden: 300 metres
→ The National Museum: 1200 metres

Getting Around:
Apēron is situated in the absolute center of town with all majors sights in walking distance. Located just 150 meters from “Nørreport”, the largest transportation hub in Denmark, the airport is merely an 18-minute metro ride away. From Nørreport you will be able to take the train, metro or buses to just about anywhere in Denmark.

A Hobbit House VRBO!
Aperon has poured money into this property and it shows. It is newly remodeled and because it is it shows no signs of wear and tear. It is highly secure needing an entry code for the courtyard, the building and finally your apartment. The reception team (think virtual front desk) is always on duty and our questions seemed to get answered in less than 15 minutes while we were on site. My only complaint and I shoulder the burden of it is that the loft VRBO for 2 is simply much too small. There are no closets/dressers and only one luggage rack. The loft bed is flush to the wall and railing which means that you sleep with your glasses and book because there is no bedside table! Stairs to the loft are both very steep and the stair treads are narrow. And while you have a hand rail on one side, it stops at the bottom even though there are three steps left. All of this should have been obvious to me if I had looked more carefully at the pictures! For example, it is clear in the picture that the loft bed is the only item in the loft! But I would go back to this property without hesitation. I would simply book a VRBO for three to get a real bedroom.

Cannot give it enough Stars!
If every stay at a VRBO was this seamless... The pictures and description were spot on. The area was bustling out the main doors, but extremely quiet within the courtyard and complex. The place was immaculate and had all you needed should you want to make a small meal while staying there. The laundry room was easily accessible and had multiple machines and one was always available. Plus, there was laundry detergent there to use if needed. The location could NOT be better. You are truly not far from anything, whether it is to shop, eat, to sightsee or to hop on any form of transportation. On our 2nd day, we received a call from management checking in to see if anything else was needed to make our stay more enjoyable. I mentioned that a motorized blind on the skylight in the loft didn't seem to work and I assumed that it was due to operator error, they assured me that it should be working and sent someone immediately to fix it. One note, and it is a personal one and not reflective on the Apēron: the sleeping area is small and in the loft without windows for ventilation. It was still a touch warm during our stay, and it became very hot and stuffy in the sleeping loft. There was a fan that was provided, but it wasn't strong enough to cool the area comfortably. We loved our stay and wish that Apēron had locations in other European cities! Thank you for wonderful stay!

The apartment/room itself was very comfortable and cute, and the location was perfect to explore Copenhagen. I would definitely choose it again next time I’m there.
