A cosy cottage in a peaceful location with amazing views, yet minutes from amenities.. 1 step to entrance.
All on the Ground Floor:
Living/dining room: Freeview TV, Woodburner
Kitchen: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge, Dishwasher, Washing Machine
Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed
Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds
Shower Room: Walk-In Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included. Welcome pack. . Enclosed garden with garden furniture. 2 dogs welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (sheep country). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: No children under 5 years old.. Summergate Cottage is a cosy comfortable little cottage, set on a peaceful lane and with the most amazing views of the Solway coastline. This terraced cottage has been completely renovated in 2020 with quality furnishings and fittings. The living room boasts a lovely wood burner making it perfect for a cosy winter night in. Outside, the garden is totally enclosed making it ideal for your four-legged friends as you sit and relax taking in the views during the summer months.
Whilst on the fringes of Annan itself you can easily walk into the centre of the town where you can enjoy a range of pubs and restaurants, or even take in a film at the local cinema. The area has plenty to interest any age with its many and varied attractions in the surrounding area. From the many historic sites and castles spread throughout the region, to the rugged coastline with lots of little sandy coves, beaches and cliff-top walks to explore. Just along the coast is Powfoot, created in the 1790s as a sea-bathing resort. Set just above the beach, it has an excellent golf course, one of several along this coast. In July enjoy the spectacle of âAnnan Riding of the Marchesâ, a cavalcade of more than 100 horses riding through the streets of the town. Why not discover Annandale Distillery and enjoy a fine single malt whisky? Beach 3 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
