NOUVEAU POUR 2020!

Ballarhennie House est une grande maison de vacances familiale située dans un parc spacieux, pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 6 personnes.

La propriété est située à une courte distance de kilomètres de plages de sable, près de Kirk Michael sur la côte nord-ouest de l'île de Man.

L'île de Man est le seul pays entier à avoir obtenu le statut de biosphère de l'UNESCO, et avec ses sites culturels et patrimoniaux uniques, elle offre des promenades exceptionnelles de paysages majestueux, y compris le Raad Na Foillan & ndash; & ldquo; La Voie du Goéland & rdquo; le sentier côtier de l'île, d'une longueur de 95 milles.

La maison dispose de trois chambres de bonne taille, composées d'une chambre lits jumeaux et de deux chambres doubles (toutes avec salle de bains). Un grand salon offre des sièges confortables pour tous les invités, avec une grande table de billard, une table de ping-pong et un bar! Une petite douillette rejoint une grande salle à manger qui dispose d'une grande table, idéale pour se divertir. Un grand jardin avec étang et une table d'extérieur est idéal pour les repas en plein air!

La propriété jouxte une petite résidence privée, et un grand parking pour deux ou 3 véhicules est disponible sur l'allée.

4 night stay at Ballarhennie House

Short break for the 2 of us plus 2 small dogs. Can’t fault it to be honest. The owners are just next door and are available, friendly but not intrusive. Beds were comfortable and we had everything we would need to enhance our stay including a great games room with table tennis and pool. It’s quite windy up there but to compensate for that the views are fabulous. It’s a great area to explore the island. Overall a pleasant, clean and welcoming place to stay. Tip: bring a paper copy of the directions as when we got up here both our Wi-fi zoned out and we were winging it a bit because the postcode doesn’t take you to the house. All part of the fun!

Amazing place

Absolute lovely place, massive rooms, very clean and has everything you could need. Provided milk, butter and cheese and some espresso coffee for arrival as well. We arrived late at night due to ferry time changes, so bring a head torch if you're gonna arrive at dark as it's not obvious where to go in pitch black. Games room is massive with pool, table tennis and a massive TV with a lovely selection of DVDs for kids and adults alike. Loads of board games all in good condition for family fun as well. Thank you for a lovely retreat, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Perfect holiday stay, apart from the weather.

4 of us stayed at Ballarhennie House for the Manx Grand Prix in August. The wet weather impacted on our race viewing but having such a great place to stay more than made up for it. The house was so well equipped and comfortable we wanted for nothing. The garden was beautiful and the views were spectacular. We would love to stay here again. I must however point out that the walk from the house to the beach is not easy. Also the little step down towards the front door is hazardous especially when carrying luggage, maybe it could be highlighted with white/yellow paint. All in all a wonderful stay.

Great house, Great facilities. Great location.

We spent 3 nights at the house celebrating a 50th birthday. The house was great allowing us to bring 2 dogs with lovely country and beach walks. The house provided us with all we needed and the games room and bar were well used! The rooms having their own en-suites was great and the house provided us with all we needed. We loved being here, it felt like we were a long way from home (we actually live in Douglas). We would highly recommend and would love to come back.

Fantastic place

Fantastic accommodation situated in a rural area with beautiful views and easy access to the beach. The farmhouse is well appointed, all bedrooms are en suite and very clean and comfortable. Great games room too. The property has a very well equipped kitchen. Would definitely recommend this place to stay with friends and family.

We loved every minute of a stay.

It is a perfect escape. Lovely big rooms, many with views of the sea. Very well supplied. Wonderful furniture and interesting art works A real home from home. Felt comfortable immediately.

Wish we were there.

Writing this on behalf of Friends who managed to get over to the Isle of Man for the holiday. We didn't make it due to ferry cancellations that week and as time went on due to the inclement weather it wasn't worth it for 2 days in the end, all ferries available to take our dog in a dog lounge not available until the Wednesday. Anyway our Friends thoroughly enjoyed their time at Ballerhennie House, loved the Island and accommodation just tge two of them in a fantastic place home from home I believe and the owners very helpful, they had no complaints whatsoever ever which is great. Hopefully we will manage to get over some other time.

Tea Cups !!

A friend of my family said he was taking his family to the Manx Grand Prix, did we fancy it They where staying at Kirkmichael I hadn’t been since 1993 so got on island escapes and booked Ballarhennie House as it was the only house left available We arrived and wow what a place, absolutely stunning Lovely touches like tea, coffee milk and a loaf of bread etc there for when you arrive Absolutely spotless as well We met the owners of the house who live next door, charming people The beach is down a small path that’s a bit steep but ok if you take it easy If you’re in the iom for the bike racing you can get around the outside of the whole circuit on the back roads when the track roads are closed Well can I find any negatives The answer is no ! It’s my preference but I would prefer a bigger tea cup ! Fantastic stay and thank you to the owners for letting us enjoy their beautiful home

Fantastic place

The property is in a wonderful location, rural and very near a beautiful sandy beach. It is well equipped with every thing you need for a comfortable stay. It’s spacious and has plenty of room for everybody, plus a games room and bar. Would definitely recommend a stay at this property

Stunning location rain or shine

We will be back. It was an incredibly hot week and the house was perfect; it would have been great in the rain too. Wonderful evening views of the sunset and we walked on the beach every day. Hosts were extremely accommodating and had provided all that was needed in terms of bathroom soaps and shampoos, kitchen cleaning and loo rolls etc for the whole stay. Well equipped kitchen, great living/games room. Quiet and secluded patio area. Our dogs loved it and set up home in the utility which could be secured for them after beach runs. The garden wasn’t secure but with well behaved dogs and no passing traffic this wasn’t an issue. Loads of fridge and freezer space and fantastic oven. There is a narrow grass/ gravel track for access and this was absolutely fine for confident motorcycle riders. Only improvement we could think of was protecting the corners of the low hood over the hob- the sharp edges proved a bit dangerous to anyone over 5 ft 8 in who was cooking!

Wonderful stay

We have had a great ten days staying in this lovely house. It is very comfortable and well equipped (including a piano which I enjoyed playing very much). The house is in a great location, very quiet and lots of outdoor space and seating. Glorious sunsets over the sea. The hosts were super helpful but never intrusive. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Beautiful place to stay

This is a lovely cottage and would definitely go again. Views of the sea, walk off road to the sea in 5 minutes which is a great early morning dog walk. Lots of nice walks from the door. Fantastic play room. Only thing to note is the garden is not dog secure and there may be sheep in the surrounding fields. There is a small paved area that is more secure. Highly recommend…

Great Place

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ballarhennie House. The house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed and more. The garden was lovely, although due to the time of year and that we were out and about taking in the Island's history we didn't make much use of it. We have some lovely photos of the places we visited on the island and of the spectacular sunsets from the house. This was our first visit to the IOM and we would not hesitate in coming back to Ballarhennie House if we ever come again.

A hidden Gem

We stayed with our son, his wife and our 2 x small grandchildren. We all had a great time exploring the huge house, sunning ourselves in the garden and by the pond. Learning to play the piano, playing table tennis and snooker in the evenings. It may be tucked away but we were never short of things to do. We walked to the beach several times, so easy and near. Watched the sunsets too. Couldn't fault this hidden Gem.

TT week stay

Had a fabulous time at no ballarhennie house, walking distance to TT track and the beach. Plenty of parking for our van , car and 5 bikes. A great location to ride out from to all parts of the island. Very friendly owners who made us feel welcome and a very spacious house so plenty of room to move around and relax , excellent stay, many thanks.

Another great stay at this wonderfully located house.

After staying here in October ( it rained every day btw ) it was was great to return and experience sunny days EVERY day! This meant we could fully appreciate its fantastic location. A 5 min walk to the beach is a lovely thing, watching the lambs play in the fields surrounding the house and the fantastic views and peace its location bring. The house is still great ( though still advertised as having a tumble dryer which we pointed out last time it doesn't have - it would have been dam handy in October! ) and has everything you would need. The owners are very friendly though after the first day we hardly saw them. It's nice to know they are there should you need help though. We plan to return here again next year - a third visit is surely enough reason to prove its a lovely place to stay! Thank you for making yet another great holiday possible.

Perfect place for break away

Very large property. Owner lives next door very friendly. Key box unable to open had to get the owner to do it for us. Unable to open this morning on leaving. There must be a knack to it Fire in living room doesn’t work which would have been lovely but not a major problem. Internet dropped out which then affected hot water but it was sorted very quickly. We had family around a couple of evenings and this was no problem.
