This was our last accomodation in our 3 week Scottish adventure, and was the best, by far! The location is wonderful.....2 minutes for groceries, 3 minutes to High Street, and a generous 15 minutes to the train station, hauling heavy luggage! Even with being an old church manse, it has been totally redone, is roomy, very comfortable and has everything you need....including a safe for your valuables, which was a great and welcome surprise! We loved our time here, and would come back again in a heartbeat!

Hello My name is Norma and together with my husband Arthur, we own and run a small holiday business called Clover Holidays which we started in 2014 after we retired. The business keeps us both very busy and we love meeting all our amazing guests from all corners of the world. Our guests usually love to hear all about Perth and the surrounding area and as both Arthur and I were born and grew up in Perth, we can usually obliged with our knowledge of the area and can recommend great places to visit, eat, shop, and play.
We choose St Catherine's Cottage as self catering holiday accommodation for our guests because it is so centrally located but has its own large enclosed private garden with parking onsite yet it is within walking distance of all the local amenities that Perth has to offer. All the shops, restaurants, museum, concert hall, theater, parks, bus and train station are all a short walk away. In addition, we have 3 golf courses and fresh water fishing nearby. Perth is a truly amazing small city of immense historic and cultural interest and St Catherine's Cottage itself is built on the site of the ancient St Catherine's Chapel which was destroyed during the Scottish reformation of the late 1500's.
Perth in central Scotland is the gateway to the Highlands and with the many access roads nearby, St Catherine's Cottage in the city center with free onsite parking is the ideal place to stay while touring around Perth and central Scotland.
Perth was the capital of Scotland from around 800 AD until after the murder of King James 1st of Scotland in 1437. Perth is steeped in history and St Catherine's Cottage is ideally situated for exploring the historic sites and a visit to Scone Palace just 3 miles away from St Catherine's Cottage, where the Kings of Scotland were crowned is a worth while experience,
