Ce loft tourne sur tout le vieux centre-ville, avec une suite privée qui abritait les rencontres Odd Fellow et Union. Exquisément décoré avec romance et vieux charme à l'esprit, ce loft est un cadre idéal pour un séjour romantique et tranquille. Le vieux Milan est riche en histoire. Le musée de basket-ball de Milan de 1954 se trouve à côté. Les Indiens de Milan de 1954, étant la plus petite école de l'État, ont battu Muncie Central en 1954 pour devenir les champions de l'Etat. Il a inspiré le film Hoosiers, avec Gene Hackman. En outre, une ancienne salon de coiffure, un musée d'antiquités, le café Hog Rock, le restaurant Réservation, les DJ's, les anciennes églises et beaucoup d'autres attractions font de ce séjour une bénédiction. The perfect getaway spot

What an amazing gem in the middle of nowhere. The Loft was the perfect setting for my wife and I to get away for a couple of days and just be alone. Great ambience, atmosphere, and very quiet. We will definitely be going back and recommending our friends to visit as well.

You must come to this quiet and luxury retreat!!!!

My husband and I stayed 3 nights in the Milan Loft. It had everything we needed for a wonderful and memorable getaway- an abundance of space, comfortable furniture, beautiful decor, lovely view of downtown Milan, and serenity! We enjoyed a dinner out at the local restaurant, The Reserve, and were very pleased with our meal and the friendly staff. We also found items we needed at the local grocery, and the loft provided the tools to cook some light meals as well. We spent an amazing day at the Ark Encounter which was only about an hour's drive away. It was really life changing to be honest. We also visited Clifty Falls State Park and enjoyed some nature and hiking. We spent a lot of time relaxing at the loft as well. There was plenty to do there, including reading, painting, listening to records on the vintage stereo, and cooking. The historic building was so full of character. It felt like a mix of stepping back in time but with the amenities of today (wifi, large screen TV with sound bar, Keurig coffee, etc). I think the loft is a beautiful little secret tucked away in small town middle America!! Driving down the side streets, you will see rows of tidy homes with a flag proudly flying on nearly every porch. Everyone we met was kind and friendly. We enjoyed visiting the museum next door and learning all about the history of the town and the basketball team that was portrayed in the movie, Hoosiers. There's nothing about the loft that we didn't love! We are ready to go back already!!! We would highly recommend this for a couples retreat, small family, girls group, etc.

Quiet, Romantic, Perfection

We couldn't have been happier with our stay at the loft. We have rented through Home Away and VRBO several times, and our experience has always been positive. This stands out from everything we have ever rented. How can you miss a place so badly that you've only stayed in a few days? It was perfect. Lisa and Bobby didn't miss a single detail. It was our Anniversary get away. There was snacks, drinks, roses, chocolate... music playing softly. Such dedication to make our trip memorable and special.. You have to stay here! It is beyond amazing, and so are the hosts. If you are in to city life and noise. . This isn't the place for you. If you want a perfect, romantic get away without distraction... It's right here, and you will love it! Thank you Lisa and Bobby for everything.

Charming with all the style and conveniences you'll appreciate!

Lisa and Bobby were top notch hosts. They made us feel welcome and made sure that our stay was the best it could be. A couple weeks before arriving Lisa called and asked about the ages of my children as she wanted to make sure that they would have things to do while we were there. It is beautifully decorated and very cozy. Lots of history with the the loft as well as the museum next door depicting the Milan state championship basketball team. Would defiantly go again and recommend them to friends and family.

Great Place to Stay

The owners of this loft have done a great job of restoring an old store right next to the Milan 1954 Hoosiers Museum. The refinished original woodwork takes you back to a different era, but the fixtures, cabinetry, and appliances provide modern comfort. It's a great place if you're looking for a warmer experience than just another hotel. It's just over an hour's drive to the Ark Encounter and about 30 minutes to the Creation Museum. This place gets you away from traffic and is an enjoyable drive through rural Southeast Indiana.

Beautiful hidden gem.

This loft apartment is absolutely beautiful. Our group was a little larger than what the loft is intended for, so we had to use an extra mattress on the floor, but even that was very comfortable! Plenty of room, in this "New York Style" apartment. All the comforts of a small town, with the style of a big city. We were there visiting the Creation Museum (40 minute drive) and the Ark Encounter (90 minute drive) but it was well worth the little extra drive time, to be able to stay here. Great place for a family vacation or a romantic getaway! If I ever get to go back to the area, I will definitely be checking to see if this place is available.

This apartment used to house the Odd Fellows, Union Meetings, and other important community events. It was a place of stature, authority, and class. When it turned residential, added class, character, and style complimented the already dominating features of the tallest building in Old Downtown Milan. The entire property, from the stern brick, to the green plush courtyard and white steel gates, commands respect. The only way to master it, is to dive in and partake of the elegance and ambiance of the apartment, the building, the property, and the town.

This loft towers over the town and atop the 5- Star Blue Olive Café. Visitors may walk through the town to unique shops, food stops, and nature trails. The town is home to the 1954 Hoosier Basketball State Champions in Indiana that inspired the movie, "Hoosiers" starring Gene Hackman. Staying in the loft is an experience of comfort, elegance, and country values. We also customize the space for couples hoping to create special moments for their loved ones. Just ask!
