The house and its property were clean and very well kept. Ample space throughout the house, comfy beds & furniture, nice little pond with frogs & fish, nice fire pit area. We were very pleased with the house and its close proximity to the winery. We also enjoyed the winery, yummy appetizers and delicious wine. If we could make a couple suggestions⊠add a ceiling fan or two to the front porch and a few tall mirrors in the bedrooms. We have recommended staying here to others and we would stay here again.Thank you!
We had a wonderful time staying at the log cabin. So convenient to just walk over to Lorella winery. The band saturday night was wonderful. We only had the one shower for 8 ladies, but we managed. We will be going back next year. We loved sitting on the closed in porch, looking out over the lake and listening to the bullfrogs. It was a wonderful weekend.
The cabin was beautiful and spacious! The view from the cabin was gorgeous overlooking the pond. We were able to walk to Winery in front of the cabin and listen to live music. Very nice place to stay in Geneva!
What a wonderful place to stay. Plenty of room for our group. We enjoyed spending a lot of our time on the enclosed porch. A perfect place to relax and chat. One evening we walked over to the winery and listened to a great band and enjoyed the food we ordered. Would definitely stay here again!
We had a group of 12 ladies that stayed at this house and the farmhouse next door. It was a great place for our outings to wineries and the Ashtabula beach glass festival, but we also loved sitting on the back screened in porch gabbing and listening to the bull frogs. Having Laurello winery next door was handy for us to order pizzas and enjoy our wine on the porch. One note: if you are counting the use of the futon as a bed for an adult, you might want to think twice. I'm told it was short and uncomfy because of the deep ridges in the cushions.
Good. Some reomindation. We had a problem with lady bugs through out the house., The futon kept flipping over and the banister going up stairs were loose. Upstairs mattress was saging in the middle.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The A/C worked very well downstairs, but the upstairs did not have central A/C. It was extremely warm and stuffy up there on a 90 degree day. Most of the guests didnât want to sleep there which was where most of the beds are. The outdoor amenities were nice, beautiful view of the pond and nice screened in porch. Even though the screened in porch didnât seem like it had been cleaned bc there was a thick layer of dust on the tables. I was asked to pay a very large security deposit that I wasnât comfortable with paying.
We were a group of six women in our early 30's celebrating my bachelorette party and I don't think we could have chosen a better location! The cabin is literally right behind a winery and they have food and live music playing on the weekends. The music isn't too loud either, if you just want some peace and quiet. It's about a 15 minute drive to the strip. I really have no complaints. The whole thing was quite picturesque. Just bring extra toilet paper, you only get the one roll!
Great place to stay and visit wineries in the area. The cabin is on Laurello Winery so very convenient to walk there. Close to multiple other wineries and Geneva on the Lake. You can hear the live music from the winery on the cabins porch. Cute log cabin, clean and plenty of room. Would definitely stay again!
My staff had taken a few of our individuals up, as one loves log cabins. (The place is beautiful!) Had a little trouble getting there, finding the way, but the phone number provided was answered quickly and was helpful. While there we had a little hiccup, but we called the number and were taken care of quickly and professionally. The fact that our calls were answered quickly when we had needed to call, meant alot and the that our issue was addressed so quickly was so wonderful. We are thinking of making this an annual weekend getaway here!! Absolutely recommended for your weekend stay!
We rented the property for the Fourth of July, we took our disabled son . The cabin was absolutely the best, very clean. and right behind the winery. The cabin was Very quiet and relaxing! We played games on the screened porch and actually saw some fireworks!
We had a fabulous stay. The porch off the house was our favorite spot. We enjoyed listening to the entertainment at the winery. However lots of traffic around the house and pond. It was a very busy evening. Other nights were very peaceful.
The cabin was great for a Friends Christmas getaway. Cabin was comfortable and cozy but I would suggest some reading lamps in the living room. Check in and out was simple. Lindsay was very friendly and accommodating.
We will visit again when we can spend more time on the screened porch .
Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!
Property was very well maintained, however the floors were dirty/very dusty.
Very easy process. Floors needed to be cleaned. Walking from the bathroom to the bedroom left my feet really black. Linens and bedding were all very nice and clean as well as the kitchen.
Two couples October getaway! Log cabin was nice but needs some improvements. Upstairs bedroom drafty & you can hear traffic from interstate. Couch in LR not comfy, you sink in. As far as the scenic back porch, you can't see vineyards much and there's tractors facing you & tall weeds. We wiped off the glass coffee tables on porch which were more than dusty. Communication with host was not good, took 3 days for a response. Overall we made the best of our stay but not what we were expecting based on pics and other ratings.
We were blown away at our cabin for the weekend! Even better than pictures. Great location we went to the winery on property every night and did a wine shuttle. Wonderful stay.
Only thing I would say is bring your own toilet paper (we only had 2 roles).
This was our 3rd stay at the cabin. We love it. It feels like home. We love entertaining guests in the screened porch overlooking the lake. And the manager Annette Hayes could not be more friendly and helpful.
The cabin was cute and clean just as described. The rooms were perfect for our group and all beds were comfortable. It was in a great central location. We really enjoyed the covered porch.
In May 2016 I graduated from Syracuse University, and then was faced with a huge question, "What do I do now?" I have always considered myself indecisive when it comes to making big decisions, so I asked myself this question, "If I had just one more day to live, where would I choose to spend it?" And that leads me to where I am now, living in my hometown with all of my family. Since I've come home from college, I have bought a house and remodeled it, bought a corgi (Who else loves corgi's as much as I do!?), and everyday I continue to learn the in's and out's of property management.
*Walking distance to Laurello Vineyards *Breath taking view of vineyards *Parallel to a pond *Located in the heart of the Grand River Valley wine growing region *Log cabin *Enclosed porch that views the pond and vineyards
