A wonderful seaside break

Great view over the sea. Useful to have your own car parking. Kitchen very well equipped and beds were very comfortable. We will definitely be back

Great location

Lovely return stay in a great location! Fantastic views from the apartment and ideal for a stroll to the Start Bay Inn and beautiful walks.

Everything was of very high standard. When I booked, the details you published on your website said: Two Rooms and Two Bathrooms. One room with King bed and both rooms with wardrobes. The apartment only has one bathroom, neither bed is king size and only one room has a wardrobe. I had invited friends to stay on the Saturday night on the basis of your offering. I had to cancel because the apartment was not as advertised.

There is only 1 wardrobe in the apartment, however the other room does have a chest of drawers. Beautiful peaceful location

Spectacular views from all rooms. The sea is so close you can almost reach out and touch it.Torcross is a sleepy hamlet with beautiful views of Start Bay and the drive to nearby Dartmouth is breathtakingBlackpool Sands is also nearbySecure off-road parkingGreat local pub and two cafes.It was our 4th stay there and we'll be back again.

Fabulous location

Fabulous location, private as it’s up on the 2nd floor. Although a lot of steps. Very good parking set up. Close to all cafes. Torcross has no shops so ensure you have plenty of supplies if you don’t want to drive out.

Lovely right on the front.

Its the most beautiful position and we loved the apartment. Plenty of crockery and cutlery bit make sure you do a shop before you arrive as the farm shop is expensive and there is nowhere to buy anything nearby. Marvellous walking country and we had a brilliant time.

A lovely apartment

This is a very well presented apartment in a superb location. Lovely sea views and a short walk to the Start Bay Inn. Good walking along the coast or round the nature reserve. Easy access to Dartmouth and Kingsbridge.

Amazing place

A perfect location and beautiful place. Plenty of stuff in kitchen for self catering! The doors to the view over the sea were extremely dirty when opened ! The car park took some finding wasn’t obvious, there is no post office in the square so that is confusing that needs removing off the directions Apart from that would definitely visit again !

A beautiful apartment and lovation

Beautiful apartment, adequately furnished with everything you need. Clean and tidy and comfortable. Cannot beat the view every day and proximity to the beach, that’s where the wow factor comes in. Good amount of space and good kitchen facilities. Not a problem for us but probably not advised if you have mobility problems as up two flights of stairs. Really cannot beat waking up every day to such a spectacular view. Second time of staying for a week and will be back again.

Lovely location

Stayed twice know. Very nice apartments just need a little maintenance ie no door Matt no security chain on front door bathroom lock did not work. A pair of d g doors very hard to open. Couldn’t time to renew mattresses??

Luxury location but NOT luxury flat

Requires a thorough clean, windows dirty pasted with flies and cobwebs, curtains filthy, spoilt the beautiful view! Only basics provided, hardly any hand gel, dishwasher tablets or liquid. No complimentary basics, milk, bread etc. late checking in means shops all closed for basic supplies. Wonderful location, basic flat! I have photographic proof

Overall OK

Not bad for the price. Torcross is an interesting and pleasant location. The apartment was more or less up to expectations. It was advertised as having two bathrooms and a terrace - neither of which was true. They might have been major issues, but fortunately not for us. The main niggles were filthy outside window surfaces and non-functioning extractor fan in the - only - bathroom.

We booked a short break with the one must in mind- that we would be able to see the sea from our accommodation and hear it at night. Accommodation was spacious, modern, very well equipped, comfortable but on top of all that the view was amazing and we listened both in the morning (able to watch the sunrise over the sea) and at night to the sea. When we booked we were hopeful but this surpassed our expectations. It’s a beautiful part of the world with the combination of the sea, the nature reserve, the walks along the coast, the beaches , the local pub and the history of the area. The accommodation itself is comprised of self-contained ‘apartments’ - all the instructions from booking to arriving were super clear and easy to understand and follow. The apartment was inviting, modern, spacious and welcoming and had the weather been bad- a very nice space to be in. As it was we had some good weather for the time of year and was able to eat looking out on the sea with the floor to ceiling windows open- it was heaven. We watched the sun come up from the same view one morning (we got up especially) I would love to go back at some point. I haven’t any grumbles about the place- loved it x

Wonderful

The property had a super location and the view was stunning. There was all the essential equipment needed for a home stay and was good quality. The furniture was comfortable and also good quality no squeaking drawers or beds. Lots of fluffy towels. It obviously overlooked the beach which was ideal and also the perfect place for coastal walks and visiting local towns. When we arrived there was a small issue that was sorted out immediately with understanding and efficiency. Overall a wonderful stay and I wouldn’t have any hesitation staying there again or recommending it to my family and friends
