Cette joliment décoré trois chambres, deux salle de bains vue maison de plage, l' 'Mim Whim' Ft. Morgan est situé à environ 50 kilomÚtres de la plage et 100 YARDS DE BORD DE L'EAU. Il est idéal pour deux couples et enfants ou juste pour deux! Il dispose d'un plan d'étage spacieux avec une trÚs grande chambre des maßtres, en plus de deux autres grandes chambres. Les trois chambres sont équipées d'une télévision pour votre divertissement.

Le salon dispose d'un téléviseur HD à écran plat de 42 'avec systÚme de son surround et d'une station d'accueil iPod / iPhone ainsi que d'un lecteur Blu-ray / DVD. VidéothÚque de films et pour les enfants ainsi que les adultes! Internet, mot de passe protégé WiFi, cùble avec chaßnes premium, DVR et un téléphone avec appels nationaux gratuits.

La cuisine est entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e et ouvre Ă  la salle Ă  manger et une grande rĂ©gion. Parfait pour vos rĂ©unions de famille, la cuisine dispose Ă©galement d'un grand bar de comptoir. We have stayed at this location several times. It is always clean, and the price point is perfect. And it is a quick walk to the beach. Will be staying here again.

My family and I spent a few days during Spring Break. The house was newly renovated and very clean. It was spacious and was in a great location. We had a wonderful time.

Guests do come back year after year. So choose well how to treat them.

It was not an experience I would allow on my guests at my properties. You charge a cleaning fee of dollar two hundred sixty five a service fee of dollars one hundred thirty+thirty+one hundred thirty eight (why you charge a service fee twice is interesting in itself) needless to say you or your management company asks you to check in at 4 pm and check out at 9. A very rushed affair don’t you think or maybe you have and will not care that is the way businesses operate now so I am not asking you to respond to me. It certainly has given me a better understanding of the competition. Perhaps I will leave you with this if you are listening .. put in more than a roll of toilet paper in the bathrooms as opposed to single half used roll and at least a full roll of paper towel not one with 10 sheets. Just a thought you had 6 guest

Nice location, but....

First off, my husband and I are definitely not complainers and we can make the most of just about anything. This place had a great location. You can only see the beach through the houses in front, but it’s only a two minute walk across the street to the beach. This place did have everything we needed kitchen wise. We also liked there was a little distance between the master bedroom and the other bedrooms. Maybe not ideal for someone with very little kids. Our cable went out the second day, which was a Not big deal for us, cause we weren’t there to watch tv. However, I called the number in the welcome book and it was for the woman that owned the home 5 years ago. Then when had to leave a message for the rental company, I also sent a text, apparently they leave at 3pm. They never followed up with us, but it was fixed the next day. Don’t know if it just came back on on it’s own. While it was out we planned to watch a dvd with the kids that night. It took us 45 minutes to figure out all the cords behind the tv and get it all to work. The house was clean, but did have a small ant problem. There was a board coming off of the base of the house by the front door. It had exposed nails. I’d also make sure you bring your own ice. The ice maker only makes enough for one glass a day. Other than that it was a great location, not crowded and away from town. We were there during COVID and planned to stay away from crowds and just eat at the house and go to the beach. We had a great vacation. We also were able to fish a the lagoon just a short drive down the road. Even saw an alligator and the kids had fun finding crabs and snails.

I’d rent it again!

Great location one row off beachfront. You have to walk maybe a minute down the road to the public beach access, which right now has the narrowest beach, so then you have to walk about as far back up the beach to have a good spot to sit. Total time From house to butt in the sand, maybe 5-7 minutes. (Some people were cutting through empty lot directly across street but I’m a rule follower!) Well provisioned kitchen, and excellent grill under house. I loved the outdoor shower and the partially covered deck was nice. Cute neighborhood, not crowded at all. The mattress in the largest bedroom could be replaced, but not the worst. My only real complaint was the rental company didn’t do the best job communicating, said they were prioritizing check-ins (which I was) and weren’t answering the phone, only texting. And it took some time to get that info, it was a little unnerving. I mean what if my code didn’t work, how would I have gotten ahold of someone? (It did work, so mute point, but may effect others.) I know it’s been a trying time and they probably have all their clients rescheduling, but I didn’t like it. Would NOT stop me from renting this house again!

Very nice

This cozy place was perfect for our family of 8 to get away for a quarantine vacation. Place was clean and so close to the beach. Beach was not crowded so we felt safe. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the front deck with views of the ocean between the one row of houses across the street. It is a little drive to a store so wished we had packed dishwasher pods since they only give you two. The heated outdoor shower and swing under the house were nice added bonuses.

Our stay

We had an amazing time. Some of the pots looked old and rusty, but we just used other pots that looked better. For the most part everything was clean and just the way it was described online. We would stay again!

Cute bungalow near beach

Mim's Whim is very cute. There are many places in the house where you can see wear, but everything functions just fine. It is very close to one of the public access to the beach. It is very nicely furnished and themed. The cleaning crew does only an adequate job - we found many dust balls/previous renters items under pieces of furniture, but overall was clean in the main areas of the rooms. For Example, found a water bottle behind a bedside table. Also found a piece of a chip under the Coffee Table when I moved it to find something I dropped. There is also water damage in the shared Bathroom sink area. We did contact the service people due to an issue with the TVS/ Cables/Surround Sound. Ends up we don't think the Surround Sound works with the Cable. Also the remote in the living room for turning on the TV is different than the remote to change the channels. Also the remote for changing the channels did not work well for using the channel up / down button. Was not a huge deal, and management came out the next day to try to assist. We would stay here again. We had 6 people for one night, and four of us for the remainder of the week. It was perfect size for us.

Gross Advertisement!

Broken tiles, loose railing, and filthy. Our son sliced his toe on broken tile and our daughter damaged her hip on broken deck board. Blood on our comforter was unpleasant as well. Also, the property manager was suppose to come out and meet with us and never did, they sent a repair man to duct tape our tiles and he taped only one of many! I could go on forever about other little things but I don't have the time.

Great getway!

We enjoyed the house very much. There were 5 adults and 2 children. House was very clean, comfortable, best air conditioner at the beach, beautifully decorated. Short walk to the beach. Loved the swing and our grillmaster said best grill we have ever had at the beach. Would rent again!!

We went off season but my number 1 gripe is that the neighbors to the beach access are quite prickly about their property line. It leaves very little beach for nonvmbeachfronters to explore. The deck rail is also super dangerous if your kids are small and lean or push on things. But we did get plenty of playtime and the house was nicely stocked kitchen wise. Icemaker didnt work tho I guess, aa the 1 tray of ice was gone then nothing. The jack and jill tub doesnt hold water and the kitchen vent was closed and had black stuff all around it. The 2nd main bedrooms tv remote had no batteries but we just switched them around. The DVD player disnt work at all in there. The games were also a hot mess with pieces dumped out everywhere and no organization in the drawer. The master tv system is super confusing. However, we didnt come to sit in front of the tv or play games so it worked well for us and we really loved the layout and the comfy beds and sheets. I only mention any of this bc I know some folks are looking for these particulars. Qe wanted outside time and we had it. It's about 2.5 mi from fort Morgan it's an awesome sight and truly creepy. It does cost but they take cards. Imo well worth it. Stay away from the Pines store tho. Worst price gouging I have ever seen in my life. Go down the rd and theres a DG and a seafood market on the left if you're heading back toward gulf shores. :)

Needs better housekeeping and upgrade the kitchen basics

With a 5 star overall review, I ignored the last review of 2 stars assuming it was an outlier. Unfortunately, it was not. We had a nice stay despite the fact that my children discovered a hoarders mess of wrappers and empty soda bottles under one bed. It was gross enough that all three children refused to sleep in that bedroom the remainder of the trip. The kitchen is desperately lacking in the bare basics...not even an oven mit, nonstick pans that were peeling and unusable, etc. The whole house needed a desperate deep cleaning. There was visible food stuck to the dining chairs, food stuck to the cabinet fronts, etc. The tile floor popped and cracked daily. It's a shame because someone obviously custom decorated it awhile back and had put a lot of effort into it. I can handle outdated, but it was dirty and unmaintained. Also, if you have never traveled to Fort Morgan, be forewarned that there are many offshore oil rigs on the horizon and visible from the beach.

Was short on a lot.

There was no gas for the grill so I had to travel to the station to get it. Electric went out the final night so we left after being without power for five hours. Got kind of hot while we waited for the power to come back on. Would not want to stay here again.
