Good location . Great for short break . Hosts friendly and helpful.
Very quite and little goodies always a surprise. We ended up going for a cider tasting at Newton cider very laid back all because of the apple juice left for us to try.
Modern, clean, excellent decor with interesting historical elements. Beautiful views across Ludlow and the hills beyond. Outside area comfortable pleasant and private.
Lovely conversion of an old bake house with outside space with a view and a modern, high end, stylish finish. The owner was lovely and respected our privacy but was happy to chat when we saw her and to suggest places to eat and visit. Everything you could want was in the property. Safe off road parking is offered. The folly is a walkable distance to town although it is uphill all the way back. We used a local taxi company as parking in town is difficult and a taxi was cheaper. Would recommend this property and will return if we come to this area again
Comfortable accommodation, everything you need for a few days away in beautiful Ludlow. 10 mins walk into town centre. Outdoor decking area lovely. There was quite a lot of cobwebs and spiders in the bedroom and bathroom, it smelt a little damp which was a shame. Probably due to its location amongst lots of trees and shrubs. Everything else was fine. Parking good, milk and scones was a lovely greeting.
Cottage quaint but modern inside, well equipped, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, amazing view of hills. Alice and Peter super helpful and friendly: provided fresh food (milk, eggs, coffee, cream tea), loan of barbecue, recommendations. 10 mins walk to shop, 15 to centre of Ludlow. Really enjoyed sitting on verandah. Keep an eye out for Nugget the Hen trying to sneak in and/or scrounge food. Extremely comfortable; very highly recommended.
My husband and I moved to Shropshire 6 years ago, and our family has grown considerably in that time. We now have two boys and a girl, all under the age of 7 so life is busy! We love travel, camping, walking and new adventures.
The Folly @ Kennet is very unique and sits in the garden of one of the most recognisable buildings in Ludlow. Part of it dates back to 1870 and we have kept the original features for you to admire. It is peaceful, a home from home and everything is brand new, high quality and very âboutiqueâ. The views over the roses, birds, trees and the town are lovely.
