A wonderful tucked away cottage. It has a lovely little garden where my daughter was able to work with the sound of birds to keep her company. We particularly like character cottages and you couldn't ask for more but at the same time modern and so comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and up to date. The main bathroom was great and spacious - and nice to have the additional smaller loo too. Two charming bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs. The bathrooms are both downstairs so anyone getting up in the night will have to come downstairs. Tucked away in the courtyard to the church - but just a walk across the road to a very good pub with excellent food. A 5 minute walk to a very nice nature reserve and easy access to London with the train. The places of interest in the area are numerous. Would love to stay again.
A lovely property in the heart of the small village of Lingfield.
An excellent location to explore nearby visitor attractions especially Chartwell.
Will definitely stay again when visiting family in Oxsted.
Although only one parking space there is plenty of parking nearby.
A beautiful old character property.
Excellent weekend away with lovely nearby activities
Superb to be able to stay in a Grade 1 listed building in the old part of Lingfield. Loved the church bells, pub across the road, local shops 400m and Lingfield Racecouse 0.5 miles walking distance
This cottage was absolute heaven.
Stunning and not one thing forgotten.
So tastefully decorated all throughout and comfortable beds and fluffy towels.
A lovely little welcome pack of some essentials awaited us .
We absolutely loved it and shall most definitely return .....
Our old English sheepdog was in seventh heaven there and he was rather sad to leave.
Lovely little pub opposite too and we had 2 delicious meals there....

We really enjoyed our stay at Pollard cottage, a very cosy, characterful cottage, with everything you need and was provided with groceries too which was a very kind gesture. The place was very clean and comfortable. Also having the pub just across the road was very handy and the meals were very good. Chartwell house, Hever Castle and Chiddingstone castle wasnât too far away to visit. We would definitely stay here again, and would recommend staying here.
