À propos de cet hébergement

Ça a tout! Notre maison récemment rénovée se trouve sur 3/4 d'acre sur un beau terrain légèrement en pente à l'eau. Les vues depuis la maison et le pont sont incroyables. Asseyez-vous sur le pont tout en regardant les enfants nager, faire du paddleboard, du kayak ou du canoë! Ou, regardez de la toute nouvelle maison de bateau! La maison de bateau a également un pont sur le toit sur l'eau. En hiver, regardez les enfants faire du patin à glace et du traîneau directement de la maison, ou voyagez 5 minutes à Okemo ou 20 minutes à Killington!

A l'intérieur de la maison, vous trouverez 4 chambres à l'étage. Deux chambres doubles, une pleine et une chambre avec lits superposés avec trois ensembles de lits superposés jumeaux. La salle de bain complète a des planchers chauffants. Au niveau principal, vous trouverez une toute nouvelle cuisine bien équipée avec des comptoirs en quartz et une barre de petit-déjeuner. Le deuxième évier sert de bar à café ou de cocktail. Il y a un grand canapé en coupe près du foyer au propane. Le plan d'étage ouvert à cet étage a également une grande table à manger pour 10! Il y a aussi un bain 3/4 avec des planchers chauffants. Cet étage a trois ensembles de portes, donnant sur l'eau pour de superbes vues. Ces portes s'ouvrent sur une grande terrasse avec des sièges confortables.

Au sous-sol, il y a une grande salle de jeux. Un canapé-lit sectionnel avec TV écran plat pour débordement. Les jeux sont le baby-foot, le hockey aérien et le flipper. La buanderie a une laveuse et une sécheuse, et un autre 3/4 bain. Ceci est un sous-sol à pied vers le lac.

Sur le lac, nous avons un coussin Aqua Lily qui est tellement amusant! Un canoë, une planche à pagaie, un kayak double et un kayak pour enfants. N'oublions pas la nouvelle maison de bateau! Vient de terminer, il a un pont sur le toit au-dessus, une grande terrasse au rez-de-chaussée pour la pêche et la natation. À l'intérieur, détendez-vous avec le soleil couchant et soyez sur l'eau. Nous sommes près de la rampe de mise à l'eau, alors lancez votre bateau et amarrez-le sur notre quai!

Wonderful Experience

The rooms are bigger than the pictures look. Main floor was open concept which made it so enjoyable for us to all be together. The included water accessories made our stay so fun. Most importantly, the host Kate was responsive, kind and made us feel relaxed being there.

Family Fun

Our vacation from 7/6 to 7/13 was great for the whole family. The cabin was very spacious with plenty of bedrooms and outdoor seating to enjoy the views of the lake. Swimming, fishing and kayaking gave us plenty to do with the children. The cabin was very clean and all the amenities that we needed were there. Would definitely rent this cabin again it was delightful. John

Great Place to Stay

This property was clean, quiet, peaceful, and the lake was great. The owner was attentive through email and could not have been nicer! The only issues we had were two of the bedrooms are on the small side and are not air conditioned. However, they were fine and cool at night. Overall it was an excellent visit and I have honestly never seen a more well stocked house for their guests and we loved it!

Overall great place

Overall this property was fantastic and the view cannot be beat - simply beautiful sitting out on the back deck or by the fire pit and watching the sunset on the lake. We saw a bald eagles, hawks, And other wildlife routinely while out on our boat on the lake and all the fishermen in our party were quite pleased with their daily catches. The house was accurately described and my kids really loved the water sports that are included such as the kayaks the Lillypad. The only real big issues we had were as follows: the lack of cleanliness -when we walked in we found food all over the floor. The outdoor areas were definitely not swept and seemed very unkept. The inside of the house definitely had an issue with bugs especially spiders and I would suggest to the owners to do a routine extermination. And lastly the house is advertised to sleep at least 12 and could actually sleep more considering there’s a pull out sofa in the basement but there really only seems to be enough hot water for two maybe three showers.

Great lake house

We had a great week+ at Kate’s house. Everything we needed was there. There was no reason to bring our kayaks as there were plenty of boats available. The kitchen was well stocked. Beds were very comfortable! Laundry facilities were great as well. And Kate was readily available to answer any questions we had. We look forward to returning some day!

Family Memories!

We had a great family vacation in this home. The house was clean, comfortable and well suited for our large group. The location. on the lake was terrific and allowed for easy access to swimming, boating or just just enjoying the view. The owner Kate was a great host. She responded to questions quickly and was very kind to my family allowing us to arrive a little early on check in day and stay late at the end of the trip. We made some great memories and we hope to return again next year!

The house is fantastic, conveniently located for skiing at Okemo. The game room downstairs was a huge bonus if you have kids (or are a kid at heart!) Highly recommend!

Wonderful time on the lake

What a fun house! Amazing location! Plenty of kayaks and toys to enjoy the lake. The house is very clean and clearly well loved. Kate was great to work with. We could not have asked for more.

Annual family weekend getaway

We had a great time at the lake house. Plenty of things to do, close to downtown if you need to run errands. Property was clean, plenty of room for All of our guests. We loved the outdoor decks, spent most of our time outside! Would highly recommend this property to others.

Great Lakefront Spot

Spent a week with my wife and four adult children +22 years. We had plenty of space inside the house and out. Living space was roomy and the basement activities were great. The outdoor deck gave great views and plenty of yard down by the water for adult games. The boathouse was a nice bonus as a separate space to go and relax looking out at the lake. Owners provided plenty of boating options we all enjoyed. Thanks for a great week.

Multi-Family Vacation

This was the second year in a row our group rented this property for a week each time. We were three families, 6 adults and 6 kids under 5 years old. The house was great for our group, we spent the entire week splashing in the water, kayaking, paddle boarding, and enjoying the deck. Beautiful views, comfortable accommodations, well equipped kitchen and grill.

Lake Rescue Lakehouse vacation

this house was everything we were looking for and more. the house is situated minutes from Okemo, 30 mins from Killington and 45 from Bromley, and we hit them all. also about 20 mins from Vermont Country Store, a must whenever you stay in Vermont. then when we were not traveling or exploring, we got to relax on the lake with the many amenities that were available to us. perfect house for 8+ people unless you want a lot of room for all you guest, then its perfect for any amount of people.

Lovely view of the lake

This is a very nice spot on Lake Rescue with a really beautifiul view of the lake from a lovely deck. Plenty of watercraft/paddles/lifevests available. The boat house is adorable inside and out. The slope to the water definitely gives you a little exercise on the way up! The house is lovely - nicely decorated and we were able to find everything we needed. Wifi and t.v.'s worked just fine. Tons of games in the game cabinet - we had a blast with Jenga when we realized some of the blocks had 'challenges' on them - we even added a few more :) The bedrooms are small except for the master - the master is the only room with a view of the lake and has a high ceiling with a ceiling fan - but really - who's spending time in the room except to sleep. Excellent Communication with the owner. I contacted the owner 2 times - she quickly responded both times . Once was just questions, the sencond was a problem with the heat - she sent someone over immediately who fixed it. Many nice restaurants in Ludlow - we especially enjoyed the Homestyle Hostel and the Restaurant at Weston (Weston Playhouse is near as well). We were very happy with our stay and would recommend this place.

Perfect vacation on the lake

We had an amazing summer vacation on the lake. The house and lake are beautiful. We spent most of our days swimming, kayaking and fishing right off the boat house deck. At night we enjoyed sitting around the fire pit roasting marshmallows and looking at the stars. Kate was extremely responsive and answered all of our questions promptly. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely be planning another trip!

Perfect Family Lake Vacation

Our group had 6 adults and 6 kids under 4 y/o and we all had the best time here. The house was perfectly laid out for multiple families, comfortable, and great for kids. Awesome lake access and tons of fun things to do nearby. Easy communication with Kate. Couldn't recommend any higher.

Beautiful Home

House was beautiful and nice and close to Okemo Mountain. Nice heated floors and beautiful property and setting. Make sure you have a car with 4 wheel drive if your going in the winter. The owner Kate was very nice and responsive to me. Would definitely consider staying here again!

Beautiful home right on the lake!

Kate answered all of my questions—the house just completed a renovation and has everything you need-super close to skiing-we can’t wait to stay again! Basement is the perfect hang out for all of the kids. Can’t beat the view, location or cleanliness!

Wonderful Home!

Myself, wife, in laws and 3 kids stayed for a few days is August. The stay was terrific. A beautiful home, right on the water with many toys to keep our kids occupied. During the day we enjoyed the lake and the activities Okemo had to offer. During the evening we sat on the deck overlooking the beautiful view and cooked s’mores by the nearby fire pit. It really was a relaxing weekend. Kate was responsive and helpful and we are so happy they opened up their home for us - we will surely visit again!
