Vernaculaire maison de l'architecture du XVIIe siècle, adapté aux personnes ayant des besoins spéciaux, qui sert des repas un encmenda entourée de terrasses en pierre basaltique, qui a été cultivé vignoble. Les terrasses jusqu'à entrevoir des paysages enchanteurs de la mer / montagne.

La ferme a une cour de ferme avec 200m2, un espace où l'âne et de la maison des chats dossier Joaquina. Très calme et verdoyant espace, fournissant l'absolu se détendre après une belle promenades dans la nature des Açores. Sur réservation, nous servons des dîners, dont les ingrédients sont principalement cultivés à la ferme, l'agriculture biologique ainsi que les oiseaux de volailles conservées dans le maïs ouvert et nourri, le son, les légumes, et les vers qui esgravatam ervinhas jeudi.
A 3 km d'un parcours de golf, des piscines naturelles et de belles plages, entre autres beautés naturelles de l'île.

Slice of Paradise with Hospitality to Match

I truly cannot say enough about the beauty and charm of both this property and the lovely hosts. Manuel was kind and communicative leading up to our visit, and during. The terraced property offers incredible views from the porch and windows of the beautifully updated original home, but the most breathtaking vista can be found on the top terrace under the pavilion. While our visit this time was far too short, we are already looking forward to the next time we can stay here for a longer visit.

QUINTA DOS AFECTOS, A TRUE HOME AWAY FROM HOME

Do you long for a comfortable, convenient and immaculate place to stay? Look no further! Quinta da Bela Vista and the beautiful island of S. Miguel is the place to go. Imagine a place where the modern and the ancient reside side-by-side. The wonderfull and well and tastfull restored 300 years ancient house is very well located and just 12 carminutes from the largest city on the island Ponta Delgada. You are also minutes away from swimming and snorkeling areas and nature. It is a perfect home away from home. We were greeted by Manuel who showed us around the home and instructed us in the use of the alarm system of the gate and appliances.He was always available if we had a question and was able to resolve any issue quickly. The house has all you need and more for a perfect place to stay. It is very clean and spacious. There are three large and comfortable bedrooms a wonderfull fully equipped kitchen and a big living room. Two terraces with both a tremendous view on the ocean and mountains. Very convenient to be able to park the cars at the estate behind the gate. The house is perfect for two as well as for a family. If you are planning a trip to S. Miguel, we would highly recommend staying at Quinta da Bela Vista, it is more comfortable than the hotels we have ever stayed in and the value is much better! The owners, Manual and Fernanda made our visit better than we ever could have imagined.

Great place for a family stay

We were a group of 5, grandparents, parents and a toddler. The house served us very well for our 6 nights on Sao Miguel. It is well located, close both to the airport and Ponta Delgada. Manuel helped arrange car rental for us, and answered any questions that we had. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Estuvimos muy a gusto y el anfitrión siempre estuvo muy atento. Realmente te sentías como en casa. La casa es antigua pero con encanto y con todas las comodidades. Las vistas al mar desde el lavabo principal son espectaculares.

Perfect accommodation for an amazing trip

From the start the booking expeeejnce was very easy and simple. Manuel emailed and replied very quickly with information and directions for the property as well as helping us with finding a car rental company and organised everything for us. The villa is easy to find and very central location to the whole island. The property is located in a quiet village surrounded by lovely gardens and greenery as well as cats and a donkey as residents. Inside the property very clean and equipped with everything you need with very spacious three bedrooms, one double in the main room with ensuite with lovely views and the two twin rooms downstairs, one with an ensuite. I would most definitely come back and stay again and the accommodation is ideal for your visit. The island is Sao Miguel is a wonderful magical place and we will be back soon. Manuel thank you so much for all your help and assistance and hopefully see you one day soon.

Uriges, gemütliches Haus

Wir waren zu viert (2 Paare) in diesem Ferienhaus. Die Vermieter sind sehr herzlich und super nett und haben uns bei allen Fragen gerne weitergeholfen. Der Garten ist traumhaft schön und sehr groß. Bei schönem Wetter kann man super auf der Terasse frühstücken und den Ausblick genießen. Ich habe mich auch sofort in alle Katzen verliebt die dort rumlaufen :) Das Haus an sich ist relativ kalt (wir waren im Feburar dort) hat aber einen Kamin den wir jeden Abend angemacht haben, um es kuschlig warm zu haben. Holz haben wir kostenfrei vom Vermieter bekommen. Das obere Schlafzimmer ist der Hammer, sehr große und einen traumhaften Ausblick! Die anderen beiden Schlafzimmer einen Etage tiefer sind etwas dunkel aber trotzdem gemütlich. Da das Haus etwas abseits liegt braucht man auf jeden Fall ein Auto. Möglichkeiten zum Essen gehen sind in näherer Umgebung nur wenige vorhanden, was uns aber nicht gestört hat, da wir gerne selbst kochen. Alles in allem hatten wir einen sehr schönen Urlaub und würden das Haus auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

A PIECE OF HEAVEN

This was my first vacation to the Azores and I wanted to make sure it would be relaxing and memorable. We got in on July 3rd and as soon as the house was cleaned we went in and were pleasantly surprised. It was clean and well maintained and had many antiques. I got a sense of history there, the beautiful stone walls and doorways as well as modern features like the dishwasher and lovely master bath with a wonderful jacuzzi. The view from the master bath is breathtaking! I think the thing that made our stay the best was the kindness and generosity of Manuel and Fernanda. They constantly brought over home made things for us to try, fresh bread, sugar cane Manuel had picked from his own garden, and Fernanda even made my wife and daughter ear rings to remember them by. I can't say enough about this place and our time there, I can only describe it as, "A hug for the soul".

A comfortable stay in a stunning property

We enjoyed our stay at Quinta dos Afectos immensely, the owners Manuel and his lovely wife Fernanda are brilliant hosts, welcoming, friendly and helpful but also respectful of guests privacy. The estate is very large and enjoyable, we loved having such a large and landscaped garden to sunbathe in, there is even a vegetable garden we were invited to pick some delicious greens from! Personally I loved cooking in the huge kitchen, which is very well equipped, as is the rest of the house. A particularly nice touch is the basket with a choice of soft plaids next to the fireplace, very nice for cozy evenings indoors, thank you Fernanda! The whole indoors space is tastefully decorated yet simple, the master bedroom is enormous, as is the upstairs bathroom. We enjoyed the quality bedding materials and the incredible views from the large bedroom and bathroom. We invited some family to stay with us on this trip; they stayed in the downstairs bedrooms and enjoyed them a lot, the house is very large and has a great layout both for families and groups of friends. We really didn't have any complaints at all, the place is great, the view beautiful, the hosts lovely, Manuel even got us a great deal on the car rental! Only one criticism: it's hard to book, because it is so often occupied!

Wunderschönes Haus mit perfekten Gastgebern!

Wir haben vom 23.09.-07.10.2015 mit 4 Personen unseren ersten Urlaub auf Sao Miguel verbracht. Das Haus von Manuel und Fernanda war dabei sowohl von der Lage als auch von der Ausstattung eine tolle Wahl. Auf dem großen Grundstück, auf dem auch das Gastgeberpaar und ein Freund wohnen, konnte man sich frei bewegen. Der wunderbar angelegte Außenbereich mit mehreren Terrassen, und der vielfach genutzte Außengrill vermitteln wirklich Urlaubsfeeling. Das große Haus bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten, die in einem solchen Urlaub benötigt werden. Es gibt ein Schlafzimmer im oberen und zwei Schlafzimmer im unteren Bereich des Hauses. Das obere bietet eine schöne, helle Atmosphäre und man kann von dort bis zum Meer schauen. Ein Auto ist für die Mobilität auf der Insel eigentlich ein Muss, Parkplätze sind auf dem Grundstück des Hauses vorhanden. Das Haus kann schon wegen der Herzlichkeit seiner Bewohner (menschliche und tierische!) uneingeschränkt empfohlen werden, 5 Sterne!

sejour au Acores

Une semaine aux Açores inoubliable. Sous le soleil nous avons découvert des paysages magnifiques, des sites naturels exceptionnels. les açoréens sont très agréables, la vie sur cette île semble paisible. Estadia inesquecível na Quinta dos Afectos

Deseja passar uns dias numa casa encantadora, na ilha se S. Miguel, Açores? Escolha a Quinta dos Afectos. Tem tudo o que necessita, sóbrio, simples e cómodo. Como casa típica, em basalto, não faltam as belas namoradeiras nas janelas do quarto e sala, tem vistas maravilhosas e todo o espaço exterior é acolhedor, natural e com animais fantásticos. A Joaquina é uma burrinha maravilhosa, dócil e encantadora. Os proprietários são prestabilíssimos e proporcionam refeições inesquecíveis, basta encomendá-las e esperar que o Manuel vos surpreenda. Adorei a estadia.

Wunderschöne Anlage

Wir bewohnten das Ferienhaus zu acht, es war ausreichend Platz für alle. Die Gartenanlage ist unglaublich schön und sehr gepflegt. Die Männer hatten großen Spaß am Nutzen der Outdoorküche. Auch die Küche im Haus ist gut ausgestattet. Die gesamtenEinrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll, die Bäder großzügig und modern. Ganz besonders die Vermieter Manuel und Fernanda haben uns begeistert, sie waren sehr hilfsbereit und wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt.

A charming 300yr old farmhouse with modern amenities

We chose this as our second stop in our 10day trip in Sao Miguel after staying in a beachfront house in Moinhos. We chose this place mainly for our kids who love animals. We weren't disappointed. The kids absolutely enjoyed the animals. We went in December and the heaters and towel warmers were a blessing. The natural fireplace in the living room, the full size kitchen, the spacious bedrooms were all a plus. About the place: It is located about 1/2 hr away from Ponta Delgada near Fenais da Luz in residential areas. There are grocery stores nearby (Spar) and Sol Mar supermarket where you get everything under the sol(!). Even though there is no direct beachview, we had no complaints since the grounds are well manicured and it was a different experience altogether. Mosteiros and and Sete Cidades are nearby. Manuel was very helpful and answered all emails before the trip. Directions to the place was fairly easy. Overall, a nice experience.

A classy country house

We stayed at Manuel's classily remodel home for few days in December. Manuel was very friendly and helpful with our need and request during our stay. The property shown just like the pictures, the rooms are clean, spacious and nicely furnished with comfortable beds, millions dollars ocean view from the master bedroom windows. A multi levels garden and parking spaces are found next to the house. The property is located in the rural countryside where you can enjoy the serenity and nature. If you want to explore the option of the countryside with style, this is the choice! We were nervous when driving on the curly, narrow and unfamiliar streets. But Manuel was very kind to show us the directions and signs. Since driving is not an option in this location, we give 4 stars.

Perfect and spacious Quinta, also for the winter

We stayed with 5 adults and one infant in November 2014 and found this over 200 years old, but meticulously and beautiflully renovated Quinta to be the perfect home. All was clean, modern, warm (electric heating), good beds and nice bathrooms, you would never think the house is that old. Very charming, we spend the evenings in front of the fireplace enjoying the fantastic local food. The interior design of the house is just beautiful and there is nothing missing for a luxurious and safe stay. Manuel is a perfect host, very helpful but discrete at the same time. For the kids, there are some animals on the lot, the highlight is the very 'social' donkey! Amazing Experience

A group of us stayed for about a week on Sao Miguel and it was an unforgettable experience. The island is very unspoiled and the people are some of the nicest I've encountered on earth. This includes Manuel the property owner who went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible vacation. His years of experience in the hotel industry definitely shows as he certainly knows how to take care of guests. The property is very well kept and has everything you could need. Large bedrooms (the master has a great view of the ocean), a comfortable living room and great kitchen. The location is outside of town, but that makes even more lovely as its peaceful and very easy to get anywhere on the island with a car anyway. I'd recommend Sao Miguel to anyone who loves nature and is looking for a peaceful vacation. I'd recommend Quinta dos Afectos to anyone coming to the island who doesn't mind being a little outside of town.

A little bit of EDEN....good location.

We visited SAO MIGUEL in January 2014. This Island is still unspoiled by mass tourism and it is obvious almost everywhere that nature still matters here. There are plenty of remarkable place to see, explore and experience.(We should have spend a month there) The two of us rented this 300 year old spacious house which was lovingly restored with great attentions given to details by the owners Manuel and Fernanda who by the way were perfect hosts to us. We enjoyed the top quality beds and the extra large bathrooms with perfectly functioning high-end fixtures, and all the amenities that can be found in a 5 star hotel. The Gardens are beautiful even in January. We also enjoyed the hosts extended cat family and hope they are all well again. We recommend this property to anyone who is looking for piece and quiet, lot of space in an natural clean environment.
