The hosts are great! This is in the heart of Uptown close to all of the great restaurants and shops along Magazine Street. We will stay here again when we return to NOLA.
Perfect spot away from French Quarter to experience all the New Orleans has to offer! Short walk or quick Uber ride to anywhere you need to go! Or hop on the street car to head downtown.
Excellent / safe getaway in a wonderful part of Nola
My family and I had a wonderful stay. The "shotgun double" as these types of properties are called in New Orleans, gave us a taste of everyday life in this beautiful city. We felt safe and were within walking distance to Whole Foods, Audubon Park, and the many shops and restaurants on Magazine Street. The property managers were communicative and quickly resolved a minor issue for us. Would recommend and stay here again.
Excellent location, easy bus service to French Quarter. House has everything needed and whatâs very important to me is the house is super clean! Thanks Clyde
We had a fantastic stay here for Jazz Fest. The property was clean, well appointed, and perfectly located. Within walking distance to great restaurants and shops on Magazine as well as Whole Foods and a short drive to the Garden District and the French Quarter. Clyde made check in and check out a breeze. Will definitely return for future trips to New Orleans. Cannot recommend highly enough!
This side of a double shotgun house has been totally renovated. Everything is new, clean, and full of New Orleans charm. The hosts made the check-in/departure as easy as possible. The neighborhood is fantastic. Highly recommend. My daughter-in-law, daughter and their friends loved it.
The house is half of a "shotgun" duplex. However, unlike a lot of shotguns, there is a hallway connecting the front and the back of the house so you don't have to walk through each room to get to the next. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and modern with appropriate bath products, towels, and toilet paper. We didn't cook but the kitchen was nice and modern. The fridge has an ice maker and water dispenser with great tasting filtered water. The house is located on a quiet stretch of Magazine. There are numerous coffee houses, restaurants, bars, and music venues within walking distance on Magazine and Prytania Streets.
We enjoyed our stay at this home! It was clean & comfortable. Clyde was very easy to reach & check-in was a breeze.
Coffee & water bottles were a nice welcoming treat.
I look forward to staying here again!
I grew up in New Orleans and return to the city often. This is one of my favorite properties I've stayed in. It is in a great location on Magazine St., close to lots of delicious restaurants and a Whole Foods. There was always street parking in front which is hard to come by on Magazine Street. The house was spotless, and I would definitely rent again!
The place was as advertised. It is beautifully renovated, well-appointed and located right on Magazine St. It is walking distance to Whole Foods, Walgreens and numerous shops. Most of the Magazine St. restaurants we like are about a mile or so away. Street parking was no problem at any point during our stay. Neighborhood is relatively quiet at night (by NOLA standards). It appeared to be a safe area. We will stay there again the next time we bring family or friends along and need the extra rooms.
Just as advertised. Very clean with lots of space. Great uptown location, and Clyde was very easy to communicate with. He even let us check-in several hours early.
Will definitely be back.
This was the perfect home for our group of friends for the weekend. Great location on adorable Magazine Street and conveniently located to restaurants, bars, and tourist attractions. Would highly recommend to anyone.
We are a family of 5, 3 young children and 2 adults. We very much enjoyed our time at this beautiful Magazine Street location. Would highly recommend it!
Great location with easy access to the bus route and several great restaurants and shops, most within walking distance. The unit was very clean, well equipped and well cared for with comfortable beds and furnishings. The owner was easy to reach and responded quickly in resolving our minor issue with resetting the thermostat. Our group had a wonderful time reconnecting and exploring NOLA. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
All in there were three couples visiting NOLA, and the house had plenty of room for all of us. The beds were comfy and the dining area spacious enough to fit us all. Being right on Magazine I thought it might be noisy, but this block is mostly residential or businesses only open during the day so it was actually very quiet at night. The centralized location made it great for shopping with access to all of the stores on Magazine St. that we could handle as well as being close to the street car line to get downtown. Plenty of great restaurants too in this part of town.
We visited while the city was under water restriction (due to severe weather the days before we arrived) and the owner was very gracious to have so much water for us along with coffee and creamer so we didn't have to go shopping upon arrival. Thank you!
We all agreed we'd stay here again the next time we are in town, I hope the owners will have us back!
